Biopotraviny - analýza situace ve Zlínském kraji

The aim of this thesis is to analyze the current situation of organic food in Zlínský kraj region. This thesis evaluates the range of production, certain activities of eco-farmers and analyzes the current situation of organic food and the posibility of their sales in the selected region. With the use of secondary sources is characterized the state and the development of the organic subjects and then with the own survey is detected the type of stores and the sortiment of organic food and prices of this products. On an example of organic milk is described the way of this product from the farmer to the customer with emphasis on price. All findings are presented in the discussion and at the end of the work.

In the thesis is processed the current state of the market for organic foods and assess their demand. The first chapters in a review of the literature dealing with the labeling of organic foods, their marketing,principles of production and on the basis of studies are assessed for qualitative properties. From the statistical data is analyzed developing the organic market and pursuant the professional survey is compared the economics of production compared to conventional production. In The practical part is evaluated organic food market in the South Moravian Region and compared their prices with prices conventional food. In the final part of the results is executed own survey through a questionnaire survey that was filled by 300 respondents from the Southern Region. The research is focused on the knowledge of organic food and motivation to buy, how much consumers are willing to pay for them, eventually, what really deters them from buying.

Analýza trhu biopotravin v České republice a jejich cenový monitoring

Diploma thesis with topic a Market analysis of organic food in Czech republic and its price monitoring engages basic principles of ecological agriculture and specifics of organic food production. There is a description of bioproduction in CZ, a market situation and consumption in the EU.In next part of this dissertation is composed overview of organic food producers in CZ. One of the main goals of this work was to perform a price monitoring on chosen types of organic food in given location and then to compare the price to a conventionaly produced food. There is also a comparison of the situation on different salepoints and a price variations of main direct and indirect distribition process. As an addition of the experimentle part, a degustation and following evaluation of chosen organic and nonorganic food types took place with suggested group of people. Result of this price monitong shows, that organic food is 140 % more expensive than nonorganic. Comparison of the direct and indirect distributors showed large price variations, for example the price of organic potatoes directly from a farmer is170 % lower, than the average price of organic potatoes in observed shops. Organic food got a higher rating than conventionaly produced during the degustation, 46,87 % was for organic and 45,99 % for nonorganic food.

The diploma thesis „Marketing Analysis of the Organic Food Market in the Brno-centre region“ describes marketing definitions, tools of the marketing mix, the current situation of organic farming in the Czech Republic and the world, import and export of organic food, the main category of produced organic food and further characterizes their distribution process. The experimental part includes the current status of organic entities in the Czech Republic and a detailed list of organic food producers in the Brno-centre region. The main part was monitoring the availability of organic food, analyzing the selected company using the tools of marketing mix and further monitoring the availability and prices of teas in organic quality in selected stores. In conclusion, the results of monitoring availability and prices are summarized.

The results of the analysis are the detection of strengths and weaknesses of organic food sale and demand comparison of regional production offer in specialized organic food salesrooms.

The aim of this thesis is to perform marketing research of consumer behavior in the market of organic food through the suitably questionnaire. The research focuses on the questions - what is the source of information about organic food, whether and why consumers buy organic food, how often consumers buy organic food, what is the average monthly expenditure for organic food, what is the most popular place for purchasing organic food, what is main critical points in selecting of organic food, which factors are barrier for purchase, etc. The results of the research confirm that organic food is well known for most of consumers, but lower than half of consumers which purchasing it, either because of high cost or because of mistrust.

Production, processing, transport and consumption of food form a significant part of the environmental burden. Organic farming and organic food production represent for many experts, policymakers and for a part of lay public a way to reduce the environmental burden. The volume of organic food production hinges on, among others, the willingness of consumers to prefer organic food to conventional food and also to change consumer behaviour. Although organic food consumer and purchase behaviour is sometimes found to be environmentally motivated, health motives are prevailing in many developed countries. Recently, organic food consumption has grown significantly in developed countries. The diploma thesis is for these reasons aimed at analysis of motivational factors and barriers that affect consumer's purchase decision-making related to organic food. First, the overview of scientific literature concerning organic food consumption behaviour is presented. Factors that explain it can be divided into four major types: attitudinal variables, contextual forces, personal capabilities and habits.
