Použití bezpilotních bojových systémů v mezinárodním právu / The use of unmanned combat aircraft systems in international law

Halajová, Ludmila January 2016 (has links)
Unmanned combat aircraft systems (UCAS) represent a certain type of modern technology the States use to counter the growing number of security threats coming from the various non-state actors. The thesis focuses on the most common use of UCAS in the fight against these threats, on the practice called targeted killing. The purpose of the thesis is to identify all conditions amongst the norms of international law pertaining to the use of force between States, international human rights law and international humanitarian law, which are relevant for the targeted killing through UCAS. Furthermore, the thesis seeks to set out the circumstances, under which this practice can satisfy the relevant conditions, and when, on the other hand, it is never lawful. The thesis is composed of four chapters. The First Chapter defines the key terms used in the thesis and clarifies the terminology relating to UCAS. It also offers a short overview of their technical specifications and capabilities and identifies the States, which own, develop and sell the technology. The following three chapters represent the analytical core of the thesis and set out the conditions for the use of UCAS found in three systems of international law. The Second Chapter examines the use of UCAS from the perspective of the prohibition on the...

Extrakční detoxikace citlivých komponent / Extraction Detoxification of Sensitive Components

Andrle, Marek January 2014 (has links)
Solvent extraction is one of the methods available for the decontamination of sensitive equipments that are contaminated with chemical warfare agents. The efficiency of extraction method have been verified on the samples, (steel or rubber) that have been contaminated with drops of mustard gas. These samples have been inserted into the extraction flow cell through which solvent (ethoxynonafluorobutane - HFE-7200) flowed. The solvent was sampled in the time intervals. These samples of solvent were analysed for the concentration of mustard gas. Process of extraction was monitored for the three operational factors (the solvent flow rate, temperature and the ultrasound power) and for three different situations (dissolution of drops of mustard gas, mustard gas desorption from the structure of the sample and dissolve drops of mustard gas with the subsequent desorption from the sample). The development of the decontamination process in time was found to consist of two stages. In the first stage the rapid dissolution of the liquid part of mustard gas in a solvent and in the second phase was such as mustard desorption from the structure of the sample and this phase was considerably slower. Extraction is to accelerate increasing the value of the flow of the solvent, the temperature and the performance of the ultrasound. These operational fac-tors have a significant impact on the thickness of the laminar layer of solvent, the solvent replacement coefficient in a cell, diffusion parameters in the process, the viscosity, the solubility of mustard gas in a solvent and the maximum achievable concentration of mustard gas in the rubber sample. The values of adjustable parameters was obtained by mathematical analysis of mathematical model. The progress of extraction under different operational conditions can be predicted by these parameters. The effect of solvents and ultrasound was experimentally verified for selected equipments of computing and communication technology. The possibility of separation of chemical warfare agents from the solvent was verified too.

Závislost somatotypu na kondici cvičenců bojových sportů / Dependence of somatotype and fitness condition in martial arts

Stibůrek, Michal January 2015 (has links)
Title: Dependence of somatotype and fitness condition in martial arts. Thesis aim: Main aim of this thesis is to find out mutual dependence among tracked variables - placed in ranking list and UNIFITTEST (6-60). Methods: For theoretical part of thesis the author used method of analysis and synthesis of specialized literary sources. In practical part the main method used was regression analysis. Method according to Heath-Carter was used to assessment somatotype. Towards evaluation of kinetic performance and efficiency was used UNIFITTEST (6-60). Results: Results from research show us that during the research of mutual dependencies it hasn't proved any link between tracked variables and place in ranking list UNIFITTEST (6-60). Considering measured values judo athletes are in category endomorphic mesomorphic and karate athletes are in category well-balanced mesomorphic. Keywords: somatotype, martial arts, karate, judo, UNIFITTEST (6-60)

Kinematické a dynamické charakteristiky přímých úderů u elitních boxerů / Kinematic and dynamic characteristics of straight punches in elite male boxers

Pádecký, Jan January 2020 (has links)
Title: Kinematic and dynamic characteristics of straight punches in elite male boxers Objectives: The purpose of this study was to quantify lower limb forces in the x, y, and z directions and their association with jab and cross relative peak force, and jab and cross peak velocity. Methods: A sample of 12 elite male subjects participated in the present study, which took place over two days. Subjects were familiarized with the procedures during the first day. During the second day, the subjects performed a standardized warm-up protocol, followed by one straight punch with the rear and then the lead hand to a force plate that was suspended in the air at the chin level by a cable system. The subjects were standing on two separate tri-axial force plates. Punch velocity was assessed using a Qualisys Motion Tracking Manager, where the marker used was placed in the middle of 12 OZ gloves. Results: Subject body weight resulted in a high positive significant correlation with jab and cross peak force, and a non-significant low and moderate positive correlation with jab and cross peak velocity, respectively. Partial correlation controlling for bodyweight resulted in a very high positive significant correlation between jab peak velocity and jab peak force and a high positive, but the non-significant...
