Fylogeografie temperátních rostlinných druhů se zaměřením na střední Evropu / Phylogeography of temperate plant species with the focus on Central Europe

Daneck, Hana January 2012 (has links)
Phylogeography of temperate plant species with the focus on Central Europe Ph.D. Thesis Hana Daneck Charles University Prague Faculty of Science Department of Botany Supervisor: Prof. RNDr. Karol Marhold, CSc. Consultant: Mgr. Tomáš Fér, Ph.D. Praha 2012 2 Summary This thesis presents contribution to clarification of postglacial history of temperate plant taxa in Europe with the focus on especially interesting region of Central Europe, for which diverse roles in postglacial plant histories were suggested. The first part of the thesis summarises general phylogeographical views and methodological approaches with the respect to species history after the last ice age in Europe. Further, the most important aspects of phylogeography of European temperate plant taxa are discussed. The second part contains a set of papers dealing with selected European temperate plant species, for which phylogeographical patterns throughout their present distribution area were inferred, including assumptions on the origin of their contemporary Central European populations and comparisons with another previously studied species. Paper 1: Phylogeographic pattern of the European forest grass species Hordelymus europaeus: cpDNA evidence. This paper presents phylogeographical pattern based on chloroplast haplotype variation covering the...

Využití Národního parku Podyjí ve výuce botaniky na základních školách / Using of Natural Park Podyjí in Botanical Education at Basic School

Lengálová, Renata January 2019 (has links)
The aim of this thesis was to prepare, implement and evaluate an excursion as one of the organization forms of fieldtrips for lower secondary pupils from schools in Znojmo benefiting from the natural site of the National Park Podyjí, in specific the location called Kraví hora. In this case, it is a botanical the med field trip. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with general characteristics of the National Park Podyjí from various nature views highlighting its specially protected areas. This is followed by a description of specific field trip aspects and the most frequently used teaching methods together. The practical part contains, among other things, methodological instructions for teachers and pupils as well as didactic materials (worksheets, didactic test), included in the appendix. Questionnaire surveys for pupils and teachers are part of the last empirical chapter. The aim of the questionnaire was to record and evaluate thoughts, feelings and attitudes of pupils from the lower secondary school to the specific field trip, its implementation and overall organization. The aim of subsequently submitted didactic tests was to observe and reveal the effectiveness of the field trip teaching. The aim of the questionnaire, given to teachers, was to monitor their standpoints in relation to...

Výuka botaniky na ZŠ s důrazem na provázanost učiva 1. a 2. stupně ZŠ / The Education of Botanica on the Primary and Second Level of the Elementary School

Veselská, Tatiana January 2018 (has links)
Issued thesis is engaged in comprehensive system of education of Botany in primary schools. There are problems viewed of the educational interconnection between the first and second grades. It's not the main goal to find a solution of these problems. It only tries to highlight the topic. Educational forms, methods and curriculum documents, connected to teaching of Botany in primary schools, are introduced and summarized in the first theoretical part of this thesis. Its role is to give theoretical base for teaching. Practical point of view is included in the second part. This part's goal is to give information about contemporary practice in primary schools and available posibilities. It shows table comparison of Biology textbooks for the first and the second grade of primary schools. Then it deals with questionnaire research which studies the situations connected to Biology teaching in primary schools in the Czech Republic. The questionnaire research bring information about the amount of using school gardens and parks due to Biology teaching and teachers' opinions interconnection with students' knowledge. The last part of practical part is focused on creating educational materials and suggestions for recognizing skills of wood plants in school gardens and parks. It also develops students' attitude...

Náučná stezka povodím Blažejovického potoka / Education trail along "Blažejovický potok" brook

Neubauerová, Kristýna January 2010 (has links)
This thesis deals with the characteristic of the Vysočina region and with a project of founding an educational natural trail "Povodím Blažejovického potoka". The thesis consists two parts. The first theoretic part describes the Vysočina region in light of geomorphological, biological, geological, natur protection and in which chapter is emphasization the area, in which is situated the lane of educational trail. It is compilatory text, which is composion like guide book to the Vysočina region for teachers, who decide for visit with their students not only this education trail, but another places in the Vysočina region too. They can find in the text another interesting places to visit. On the end of theoretic part are two chapters, historical interests and explication the concept of the education trail. The second, practical part include individual information boards with thematic content and their graphic layout. The education trail has 7 km with 12 information boards. It is the combination education trail, it has 1 introductory board, 3 boards with historical informations, 1 geological board, 2 botanical board, 1 zoological board, 2 ecological boards and 1 board about technical memory. The education trail goes on well walkable terrain along the metalled road. It started at Rachyně, throught Blažejovice and...

Botanické (dendrologické) vycházky na území Děčína / Botanical (Dendrological) Walks on the Territory of Děčín

Reimerová, Pavla January 2021 (has links)
In this thesis, we are introduced to terrain-style (on-spot) approach to teaching botany and dendrology subjects on high school or high vocational school. The main goal of this thesis was to point out interesting spots in the city of Děčín from the dendrological point of view and design optimal walk routes for them. In the introductory part, the terrain-style approach in teaching is described, including its various types, goals, specifics of preparation phase and possibilities of using mobile applications as a tool for botany and dendrology teaching. We also wrote up about the topic of including terrain-style teaching of botany and dendrology into curricular school documents. In next segment, we described interesting spots in the city of Děčín from the dendrological point of view, such as: Zámecké zahrady (Palace gardens), Mariánská louka (Mariánská meadow) or Lesopark Kvaderberg (Kvaderberg forrest park). Overall, we designed eight walk routes.

Láčkovky a jejich využití ve výuce botaniky / Pitcher Plants and Their Use in Teaching Botany

Burian, Michal January 2020 (has links)
The major objective of this thesis are carnivorous plants of the genus Nepenthes and their pedagogical and educational usage addressing students of elementary and grammar schools. The first part provides a general description of the Nepenthes plants, often called tropical pitcher plants due to their pitcher-shaped leaves that function as a passive pitfall trap. Moreover, the field research on the Nepenthes digestive fluid acidity was undertaken at Borneo. Plant's acidity was measured by the pH meter with glass electrode. The results obtained prove pH level differences for various Nepenthes species. In addition, pH level differences in between the fluid from freshly opened pitcher and an older fluid were observed. All results are cross-validated with the values reported in literature. On the basis of the results of the field research, didactic part is assembled. The didactic part consists of the Nepenthes general description and proposal of educational activities aiming at the botany popularization in elementary and grammar schools. Subsequently, the method proposed is tested in biology classes of the second grade of elementary school. The results reveal a positive influence of the method on student's interest in botany.
