The aim was to create a literature review on the site, to find sources of archival image, photo documentation of structure during repair, an overall analysis of the structure and classification according to the typology of the shape and type of construction and dendrochronological datig. When comparing literary and pictorial sources was agreed. Dendrochronological dating design provided an approximate date of construction. Shape classification structure has been successful design solution is beyond the commonly used methods.

The diploma thesis deals with issue of contemporary development of rural settlements. Literary part concerns historical and current form of rural settlement and it determines presumptive trend. Particularly serious is the problem of lost identity development and spacious suburban area. Practical part concerns model object Ochoz u Brna. Project does not solve all the problems of village, but primarily those that can substantially improve the quality of life. Also the project proposes better environment for next generation. The solution answers set of questions as: Who wants Ochoz to be? Where in the village to build? How to build? Where to go downtown? How to keep connection with the country?

This theses deals with the changes of Svitava river in Brno, historical developments near the river, influence of river to urban developments of the Brno suburbs, current state of river and its surrounding and its use and the integration of the river into the urban landscape. It also proposes theoretical changes near the river that would improve its use and integration.

Karmazinová, V. The methodology of implementation of Smart City concept in the strategic management of Brno. Master's thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2016 This master's thesis deals with analysis of the Smart City concept, describes Euro-pean modes of Smart City good practice, analyzes the current state of Smart City strategy in Brno and its implementation into strategic management of the city, it purposes a model of implementation of Smart City concept into Brno and describes its function and its interlinkages and it evaluates project of reform of Brno light management through cost befit analysis.

The objective of this thesis is using a series of field investigations to determine the status and potential of natural regeneration of Douglas fir (Pseudotsuga menziesii (Mirb.) Franco) on the area of interest "The Forests of The City of Brno, Corp.". Based on the results of field investigations we can deduce on fertility of Douglas fir, status and parameters of natural regeneration, intervals of seed years and dispersal possibilities of natural regeneration from the parent growth. The work consists of two different parts, theoretical and methodological (practical). The first part analyses theoretical aspects of the solved issue and the second part is devoted mainly to the methodological procedures. Of the 100 analyzed growths was located 86 % on nutrient habitats. In 77 % of cases occurred in the growths Douglas fir as wood disseminated. All growths over 80 years are spawning: 33% slightly, 58% moderate and 9% richly. Without natural regeneration was recorded only 17 % of growths. The height of Douglas fir grow under vegetation of 1,3 meters can be expected in the age of 11--12 years.

The thesis is focused on elaboration of a strategic plan for the town of Slavkov u Brna. The first part describes theoretical basis of strategic planning. The second part deals with the situation analysis and SWOT analysis of the territory. A survey aimed to ascertain the views of local resident is made. Diploma thesis theme Development of social services in the selected rural microregion takes care of social services (healthcare, education and social care) in the countryside. In particular, thesis examines the surroundings of Rosice u Brna. Theoretical part and literary research describe basic social concepts. The thesis describes types of social services. One part is also focused on an extraordinarily detailed description of social services for seniors. This follows up the chapter of causes and impacts of population aging on society. A part of the work maps possibilities of the financing social services. Also, modes of transport because the high-quality transport disponibility of social services is important for the development of the region. Demographic analysis of the individual municipalities was performed in the practical part. The existing social services in individual areas and municipalities were identified. The research has shown that the capacities of some facilities are inadequate.

The goal of graduation thesis is to describe current state of marketing mix in the chateau in Slavkov u Brna and to propose a new possibilities. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The first theoretical chapter has free parts: The genaral marketing strategy, The destination of tourism and The specification in tourism. The main goal of the first chapter is to describe differences in tourism. This diploma thesis deals with the care taking of the landscape by the inhabitants of village Kobeřice u Brna. Landscape, care taking of the landscape, rural area and rural sociology were described in detail. Qualitative research was performed by interviews which determine the care taking of the inhabitants on the landscape in the past, present and its changes. Data analysis was performed on the land use in the cadastral area of interest and was compared with years 1845, 1900, 1948, 1990, 2000 and 2016. Coefficients of ecological stability were calculated using two methods which were compared. Also field research was performed using current aerial imagery, historical maps and its changes were superimposed into maps. The results and the changes in the cadastral area of interest were compared and described. Stated hypotheses and changes in the care taking of the landscape by the inhabitants of village Kobeřice u Brna were confirmed by using selected methods.
