The purpose of this study was to make an evaluation of the elementary school program of Carlsbad, New Mexico, so that as clear and accurate a picture as possible might be obtained of present practices, to compare these practices with acceptable educational information and philosophy of the present time, and to make recommendations for improving the school program. The results of the study should be beneficial to administrators and teachers alike in the improvement of the schools.

The subject of this diploma thesis is Analysis of the current state of spas in Carlsbad. The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the status of Carlsbad and its specifics on the market of spa services in Czech Republic. The analysis is focused on entities that currently operate in the field of spa services in Carlsbad. The outcome of this work is to assess the current state of spas in Karlovy Vary, analysis of the different types of entities that deal with spa services and evaluation of their common and diferent features. This thesis also deals with evaluation of the impact of changes in the Indication list on the spa services in Karlovy Vary.

The objective of this diploma thesis is to form a business plan for a self service car wash. It analyzes the necessary resources, tests the viability, and calculates the financial performance of the project. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The first part theoretical, mainly describes the structure, requirements and purpose of a business plan, especially tools for market analysis, financial planning or financing options available for the proposed project. The second part practical, is composed of an actual business plan drawn up for a self-service car wash in Karlovy Vary.

This diploma thesis focuses on the current situation in interpreter services for deaf in Carlsbad region in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part of diploma thesis aims to inform the reader about the terminology, language, another communication code and the number of deaf people in the Czech Republic. I present the information I have gathered about the deaf community. The goal of the diploma thesis is to create the business plan for interpretation services for the deaf community for the year 2019. After studying documents from the national organization I describe the current situation in the Carlsbad region with interpreter services for the deaf. The surveys aim is to interview doctors from otorhinolaryngology and foniatry in the Carlsbad region. The interviews focus on the communication needs of people with hearing impairment and the information doctors have about interpretation services in the region. Based on the data from the research I did, I found out the exact number of interpretation services for deaf in the region. Unfortunately from the documents I was not able to find out the exact number of deaf clients in the Carlsbad region. The main topic of this diploma thesis is the historical-sociological analysis of spa forests in the surroundings of Carlsbad. More and more people exploit the nature, especially near human settlements. Therefore, there is a question if suburban, or in our case spa forests, wouldn't have according to the law other rights and obligations than other types of forests. The subject of the research is the analysis of the development of Carlsbad spa forests (Lázeňské lesy Karlovy Vary) during their historical development and related social development, which was reflected on the form of the spa forests. The main research initiative is human access to forests in terms of sustainable forestry and ecological balance depending on the natural and social contexts of the area around the city of Carlsbad. The diploma thesis is divided into two main parts - theoretical and empirical. In the theoretical part, through a careful analysis of the literature and research of sources, there is a historical development of forests with respect to the spa area of the city of Carlsbad. The master's thesis "Development of the Sudeten German political movements in the years 1933 - 1938" is focusing on the formation and development of Sudetenland German political movements in the Czechoslovak Republic. It deals with the situation of German minority group, it analyses the assumptions and also attempts for unification of German (negativistic) political field in the process being aimed at establishment and forming Sudetenland German Patriotic Front (SHF) in 1933. The thesis subsequently follows up the chronological development of Henlein Movement (SHF), the relation to other German political parties and the state, and also the transformation in Sudetenland German Party (SdP) in 1935. Afterwards, the thesis include the analysis of its election programme, the ways of campaigning and the election results in the parliamentary elections in 1935 (the voter turnout in municipal election in 1934 and 1938 is also mentioned). The internal party crisis belongs among other milestones of SdP that are dealt in this thesis just as Carlsbad Programme (with the demands against Czechoslovakia), the dissolving of SdP and the changeover of former members to German National Socialist Labour Party (NSDAP) in 1938.
