Možnosti implementace principů cirkulární ekonomiky v podmínkách České republiky

Jonášová, Soňa January 2015 (has links)
Jonášová S., 2015: "Possibilities for implementation of the principles of Circular Economy in the Czech Republic" Mendel University in Brno. Thesis. This master thesis deals with current situation of development of Circular Economy in EU as well as in the Czech Republic, focusing on biodegradebla waste and its circular return back to the cycle. The main part proposes the most suitable structural and organizational design which aims to spread awareness and bring up the main principles of CE focusing specifically on biomass reuse. Case study serves as a model situation to describe how to possibly solve an issue with organic waste in District Prague 7. This case study is supported by analysis of joined parties (stakeholders) and as by statistics from filled questionnaires from citizens of District Prague 7. Lastly, the functioning model is proposed to underline the collaboration between citizens (residents), municipalities (communities) and cultivators (farmers) with main focus on the use of compost on grassland if the compost could be used as material for top dressing lawns. Community interest was investigated via online questionnaire. The results uncovered positive as well as negative parts of waste separation. In conclusion, appropriate way of waste separation is proposed for specific area.

Identifikace potenciálních příležitostí v cirkulární ekonomice ve vybraném odvětví národního hospodářství

Jonáš, Ondřej January 2019 (has links)
The aim of this work is to describe the principles of circular economy and bioeconomics and find opportunities for its use in the condition of Czech forestry. To achieve this goal, the method of mapping material flows in forestry in historical, current, and predicting future values was chosen, and key actors in the industry were selected. In-depth interviews were conducted with them and a professional workshop was organized. Based on the discussion, barriers were defined according to the PESTLE method and the list of possible mitigation measures was created, including the selection of the most promising possibilities of using wood biomass locally and with the highest added value.

Magnetický cirkulární dichroismus a aromatické sloučeniny / Magnetic circular dichroism and aromatic compounds

Štěpánek, Petr January 2015 (has links)
Title: Magnetic circular dichroism and aromatic compounds Author: Petr Štěpánek Department/Institute: Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry AS CR, v.v.i. Supervisor: prof. RNDr. Petr Bouř, DSc., Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry AS CR, v.v.i. Abstract: The thesis presents a series of studies concerning magnetic circular dichroism (MCD), a spectroscopic method, which experienced an intense theo- retical development in the recent years. New computational codes opened possi- bilities to calculate MCD spectra of larger and more varied molecules than was possible in the past. In the presented studies, we took the advantage of the new computational codes to broaden the possible span of applications of the MCD technique. As an example, we present MCD as a method useful for obtaining information about the structure of fullerenes. We also studied the influence of the molecular conformation and the explicit and implicit solvent models on the MCD spectra of aromatic amino acids using the newly implemented alterna- tive computational protocol based on sum-over-states calculations. We have also theoretically predicted spectra of the nuclear spin circular dichroism (NSCD), a potential new high-resolution spectroscopy. Keywords: magnetic circular dichroism, quantum-chemical calculations, density...

Polarizace vakua v Coulombickém poli / Polarizace vakua v Coulombickém poli

Šimsa, Daniel January 2013 (has links)
In the present work the vacuum polarization and the circular dichroism of hydrogen-like atoms are studied. We derive equations for the Fourier transforma- tion of the vacuum expectation value of the charge density. We use it to derive Uehling potential and calculate energy shifts caused by it. Then we discuss effects of vacuum polarization in higher orders of α. In second part we define circular dichroism and we express it in terms of reduced matrix elements. Then we derive the formula for parity vilating potential which is generated by weak interaction and together with other results we use it to find the expression for circular dichro- ism in terms of hydrogen radial functions. 1

Cizinci na českém trhu práce (na příkladu Ukrajinské cirkulární migrace) / Foreigners on the Czech labour market (example of the Ukrainian circular migration)

Popovová, Marie January 2008 (has links)

EU migration policy: Does migration contribute to the development of third countries?

Karlíková, Aneta January 2012 (has links)
Migration is generally considered a problem or at least a negative phenomenon. However, it is considered rather positively in this thesis. I attempt to answer a question whether migration contributes to the development of the countries of origin. The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the positive and the negative impacts of migration and remittances on selected countries and to evaluate measures that contribute to a maximization of the positive impacts and a minimization of the negative impacts of migration on development. The first chapter presents the theoretical concept of the impacts of migration and remittances on development. In the second chapter I examine the specific effects of migration and the third chapter summarizes the measures maximizing the positive impacts and minimizing the negative effects of migration on development in the "optimization model of the impacts of migration and remittances on development."

Pre-loved: vintage obchody jako alternativa k rychlé módě / Pre-loved: vintage shops as an alternative to fast fashion

Borisova, Varvara January 2021 (has links)
"Pre-loved: vintage shops as an alternative to fast fashion" Mgr. Varvara Borisova Supervisor: Mgr. Yasar Abu Ghosh, Ph.D. Abstract Thrifting has long been perceived as a matter of nonconformists, eccentric artists, and people with limited budgets. However, the consumerist philosophy of so-called fast fashion which is driven by the ever-changing trends and the impact of the fashion industry on environment and global labor market has become a reason for many customers to find a greener and more ethical way to supply their wardrobes. While some of us gave up shopping at all, fashion gurus turned their attention to secondhand clothes: thrift shops changed to vintage boutiques and used garments became known as "pre-loved". This thesis aims to analyze practices which owners of Czech secondhand and vintage shops use to create value, understand the obsession by things from the 20th century and focus on the role of such stores in the development of sustainable fashion in the Czech Republic. Key words: vintage, thrift, theory of value, fast fashion, nostalgia, sustainability, material culture

Teorie agregátů fotosyntetických molekul: spektroskopie, struktura, přenosové jevy / Teorie agregátů fotosyntetických molekul: spektroskopie, struktura, přenosové jevy

Lalinský, Ján January 2013 (has links)
Title: Theory of aggregates of photosynthetic molecules: spectroscopy, structure, transport phenomena Author: Ján Lalinský Institute: Institute of Physics of Charles University Supervisor of the master thesis: RNDr. Tomáš Mančal, PhD., Institute of Physics of Charles University Abstract. A theory of absorption of light in an isotropic solution of molecules was formulated on the basis of electromagnetic theory of par- ticles with attention to relativistic nature of their interaction and its im- pact on the spectrum of circular dichroism. Calculations of the absorption spectra of simple systems were performed to demonstrate the properties of the mathematical model. Also calculations of the absorption spectra of the models of the bacteriochlorophyll dimer which were proposed as possible basic unit in the lamellar model of the interior of a chlorosome were performed. The experimental spectra of solution of non-aggregated bacteriochlorophyll were used to fit the parameters of the mathematical model of the molecule and for these parameters the spectra of the pro- posed models of a dimer were calculated. It has been found that the new non-electrostatic terms in the description of the mutual interaction of the parts of the molecule are negligible for calculations of ordinary absorption spectrum, but they have...

Právní aspekty prevence vzniku a využívání odpadu z obalů / Legal aspects of prevention of generation and recovery of packaging waste

Kleiberová, Pavla January 2020 (has links)
Název diplomové práce v anglickém jazyce, abstrakt v anglickém jazyce a 3 klíčová slova v anglickém jazyce NÁZEV V ANGLICKÉM JAZYCE Legal aspects of prevention of generation and recovery of packaging waste KLÍČOVÁ SLOVA V ANGLICKÉM JAZYCE packaging, prevention of generation of packaging waste, circular economy ABSTRAKT V ANGLICKÉM JAZYCE This diploma thesis addresses the legal aspects of packaging and packaging waste with the focus on the prevention of generation of packaging waste. The thesis is devoted to the legislation of packaging, packaging management and packaging waste management. The subject of research is the european legislation (mainly directive 94/62/EC on packaging and packaging waste and directive 2008/98/EC on waste) and Czech legislation based on the european directives (mainly Act No. 477/2001 Coll., on packaging and Act No. 185/2001 Coll., on waste). This legal problematics is undergoing a significant evolution. Higher targets regarding minimisation of packaging waste and more ecologically acceptable ways of managing packaging waste required by european directive amendments and other new conceptual documents (most importantly A new Circular Economy Action Plan) are going to be reflected in the Czech legislation by a new act on packaging, which is being a subject of a legislation process....

Teorie a aplikace optické aktivity biomolekul / Theory and applications of optical activity of biomolecules

Krupová, Monika January 2021 (has links)
Title: Theory and Applications of Optical Activity of Biomolecules Author: Monika Krupová Supervisor: prof. RNDr. Petr Bouř, DSc. Institutions: Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University, and Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry, Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic Abstract: This thesis describes how we used several chiroptical spectroscopic methods to study chiral molecules: vibrational circular dichroism (VCD), circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) and magnetic circular dichroism (MCD). VCD and induced lanthanide CPL were used to study the structure of amyloid protein fibrils. We found out that VCD is very sensitive to their structure and supramolecular chirality. It could be used to distinguish between various polymorphic fibrils. On the other hand, induced lanthanide CPL provided information on the local structure. VCD was also used to study the hydration polymorphism of nucleoside crystals. Due to the crystal packing, the VCD signal was strong and specific for different types of crystals. Finally, electronic structure of hydrated Ln3+ ions was studied by MCD. Molecular dynamics simulations together with crystal field theory (CFT) and multistate complete active space calculations with second order perturbation correction (MS-CASPT2) were used to interpret the spectra. CFT...
