The Thesis is focusing on the transformation of the approach towards the evaluation of the pupils at the primary school level. Some partial observations can be achieved by this theses mainly in connection to the changing approaches of the teachers of the primary level towards them in connection to the requirenments or the evaluation of the pupils in accordance with RVP ZV. With the help of the specialized literature I described the types and forms of the evaluation and classification used on the primary school level as well as the criteria and rules for the evaluation of pupils in the theorethical part of the thesis. In the inquiry part of the thesis I compared approaches of the teachers towards evaluation and classification used on the primary school level in relation to the introduction of the specific class work realized according to the SVP itself.

The diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of primary school learners in their reading comprehension skills. The aim of the thesis is to define the way of realization of the evaluation and its influence on the area of reading comprehension at schools which use a classification, and at schools which evaluate their learners verbally. In the theoretical part, there is first defined the term evaluation which is further explained in the context of education. Furthermore, basic types, functions and evaluation criteria are described. The thesis also focuses on two basic forms - qualitative and quantitative evaluation. Last but not least, the theoretical part defines the specifics of the reading comprehension evaluation. The practical part describes which forms of learner's evaluation there are used by primary school teachers in the Czech Republic when they evaluate learner's reading comprehension skills. Moreover, it focuses more specifically on two primary schools in Prague and its surroundings which use different forms of learner's evaluation, and it describes how the evaluation is implemented and which advantages or drawbacks it brings. Title: Evaluation and classification in academic physical education Goals: The main goal of this work is to analyze the opinion of the current teachers of physical education on the methods of evaluation and classification in academic physical education within elementary and high schools. How is the relation of the tutors towards classification and verbal evaluation of the students within physical education and what are their main criteria for evaluation. Further, evaluate students questionnaires related to their opinion on given classification. Methodology: The methodology used in this work was a research questionnaire within 20 schools in Prague (10 elementary and 10 high). The first questionnaire, which was created for teachers, had 40 questions where the first 36 had a closed form and the remaining 4 questions had an open form, where respondents answered with their own opinion. The second questionnaire was created for students and had 39 questions. Only one answer was possible for each question. Only the last question had an open form. The questionnaire was focused on the ways of the evaluation of students within physical education, criteria for classification within physical education, scarcities and priorities of these ways of evaluation. The thesis "Stress and school evaluation" has theoretical and empirical character. The aim of the thesis is to compare the occurrence of stress for students in upper primary schools when different forms of evaluation are used. In the theoretical section, the concept of "stress", different types of stress, and definitions of the terms are given. The manifestations and causes of stress, as well as coping mechanisms, are also described and elaborated. One part of this section deals with the developmental stages of adolescents, and a second part is dedicated to the explanation of different school evaluation forms (assessment and verbal evaluation). The particular functions of evaluations are not neglected. Survey results from questionnaires completed by students from two different schools were used in the empirical section of the thesis. The primary hypotheses and assumptions were defined and elaboration of the results was presented, including well-arranged tables and graphs. In the summary of this research, the stress levels and their relations to different types of evaluation methods are reported.

As a form of student assessment an approach based on the synthesis of both forms is also considered. The dissertation is mainly concerned with the issues of forms of assessment, their benefits and negative aspects.
