Silniční most / The road bridge

This master' thesis deal with the desiggning of steel bearing structure of road bridge with span of 48,5m with lower bridge deck, which cross local road over the river Thaya in the town Znojmo. Three variants have been designed of arched bridge. The most economical variant was prepared in detail and wascarried out static assessment of individual elements and selected details. In detail solved variant is the bridge with free staing arches and lower bredge deck with composite crosspiece. Nosná ocelová konstrukce kryté lávky pro pěší mezi budovami výukového areálu / Load-carrying structure of the covered footbridge between buildings in schooling premises

The subject of this master’s thesis is to design the supporting steel structure covered pedestrian bridge between the learning area buildings A and D of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, street Veveří 95 in Brno. The construction is designed as a bridge rod spatial structure with two main girders. The girders are a combination Vierendeel girder and truss structure. The girders are connected at the level of the upper and lower band by a crosspiece. The horizontal stiffness of the upper and lower surface structure is ensured by bracing. The upper surface of the pedestrian bridge is horizontal in the longitudinal direction. The lower surface of the pedestrian bridge is curved in order to overcome the difference in height between buildings A and D. This solution is the result of comparison an evaluation of three alternative solutions.

Vícepodlažní administrativní budova ve Zlíně / The multistorey office building

Design of a new steel structure administrative building in Zlín. Structure is consist of three parts. The part A is designed of three fields in the transverse direction and five fields in the longitudinal direction. This part is two-storey. The part B is designed of two fields in the transverse direction and three fields in the longitudinal direction. This part is six-storey (five-storey). The part C is designed of two fields in the transverse direction and five fields in the longitudinal direction. This part is four-storey (three, two-storey). In both directions in all parts of the building is the distance between the columns in all fields of 6,0 meters. Structural elevation of all floors is 3,5 meters. Shape and dimension design. Fixed, utility, climatic load. The purpose is confrontation of inner forces and dimensioning of main supporting elements in three variations of structure. Comparsion of variations. More detailed static calculation, drawings for the selected variant. Detailed drawings for part of building.
