The attic conversion proposes two variants of the apartment layout, as well as the design of new truss structures. Part of the work is a construction-technical survey of the existing loft space. The thesis also includes the composition of the perimeter walls, roof deck and floors. Finally, the cost calculation of the selected attic conversion variant is included.

This study is focused on the development of effective antimicrobial surface treatment of wooden furniture and materials based on wood. The research was performed with acrylic dispersed water-borne and two-component acryl-urethane varnishes. Treatment of varnishes based on chlorhexidine, phthalocyanines and plant extracts and the effect of unfinished wood itself were tested for assessment of antimicrobial activity. The assessment of how safe water-borne varnishes which contain biocides for in-can preservation actually are, was also evaluated in the scope of this thesis. Testing of the antimicrobial efficacy was performed according to a standard routine method and the European and Japanese standards (Agar diffusion plate test, JIS Z 2801 and EN 15457). In addition, a new method testing the antibacterial activity under dry conditions simulating the contamination by microorganisms carried on dust particles was developed. Moreover, the method suitable for testing of photocatalytic active substances simulating the real use of products was described. The appearance and physical and mechanical characteristics were tested in the final treatment of varnishes.

The project deals with the modernization of the agricultural building which leads to a change of the using building. In an effort was to make use of the building which goes to into ruin and to create jobs in this location. The building is located on the plot no. 212 on the north of outskirts of Opatovice I.. In the area there is a cowshed and a silage trough. The former cowshed will be rebuilt into a woodworking facility constituted by manufacturing and administrative part. The silage trough will be used as a waste stock. A new outdoor wood store will be built in the northwest part of the plot. The administrative building will be added to the main building with a basement made from permanent formwork. The ground floor and the first floor are made of clay bricks and reinforced concrete cross-reinforced slab 150 mm thick. The internal partitions in the 1st floor are made of clay block prartitions 115 mm thick. The internal partitions in the 2nd floor are plasterboard 100 mm thick. Rebuilding involves a large number of demolition work for example new openings in existing walls. The whole woodworking facility will be insulated by a certified thermal insulation system 100 mm thick on the production part and 180 mm thick on the administrative part. The object is covered with saddle roof shaped letter "T" with a sheet metal cover. The original hard landscaping will be replaced by an asphalt road.

It is a new kindergarten in semi developed area. The building is located in Southern Bohemia in the village Strakonice. Kindergarten is divided to two buildings, the garden house and kindergarten. The building has only one floor and a without basement. In object kindergarten is the main building and two individual pavilions. In the main building is office for headmistress of the school, utility room, workshop, cloakroom for employees, store dirty laundry, food warehouses and food preparation and sanitary facilities. From the connecting corridors to get to the individual departments, where you can find children's cloakroom, toilet and washroom for children, isolation room, storage beds and bedding, office for teacher, WC for teacher, store toys and games room and place to relax for children. Pavilion A is the same as pavilion B, only mirrored. The building is based on the footings of plain concrete class C20/25. It is a brick structure of building system called LIVETHERM. Building has a flat roof and roof aisle also with slope 7 ° and 10 . Aisle roof is made of wooden glued trusses. Roofing is made up of modified bitumen belt. Built-up area is 947.6 square meters

Novostavba sportovního centra, Jemnice / New building of sports centre, JemniceProcházka, Pavel January 2014 (has links)
An elaborated project documentation for a construction realisation of a sports centre in Jemnice is the core of this diploma thesis. During the elaboration of this proposal a special attention was given to meeting of all active norms and regulations, and also meeting of all requirements of an investor. The main requirement was a multifunctionality of the whole building which consists of a restaurant, bigger and smaller gyms, a fitness room and utility space for a fluent working of all the building. The proposed sport centre is a two-storey building where the main part, sports hall, measures 24 x 50 meters. It is suggested to use a skeletal system from prefabricated concrete elements together with a roof from wooden trusses for this building.

The subject of diploma thesis is a new-build of boarding house with restaurant. The building is situated in village Opatov. The building has three floors and another one underground. The underground floor is just under the part of the building. The building is situated on the edge of village Opatov and the terrain around is slightly steep. The object has shape of rectangle. The first floor is slightly wider than second and third floor. On the wider part of first floor is situated terrace for second floor. In the underground floor serves as technical background and storage facility. On the first floor is situated restaurant with kitchen, facilities for staff, reception with office and some other storage facilities. The second and third floor are used for lodging of guests. The capacity of pension is 42 beds and in restaurant about 64 quests. The ventilation of first floor is secured by air-handling system situated in underground floor. The second and third floor are ventilated by local air-handling systems with recuperation air conditioning. The roof of the object is saddle roof with sheet covering. The supporting construction of the main roof are truss girders. The terrace is built like flat roof with concrete pavage, the circumferential walls in the underground are made from concrete with insulation of XPS and in the upper floor are made from brick blocks with insulation from EPS with mineral wool. Interior walls are made also from brick blocks. The horizontal constructions are made as reinforced concrete ceiling slabs. Part of project documentation are assessment in terms of building physics and fire safety solution of building.
