This diploma thesis deals with didactic games in physics education. A didactic game is a type of an activating teaching method. Didactic games are closely related to didactic toys. In the thesis, a survey of the use of didactic games in physics education is described. Didactic games according to the survey are used by most physics teachers. Eight didactic games were created. I received feedback on four of these games from students as part of piloting at schools. The thesis includes all materials, that are needed for testing the created didactic games. This thesis deals with the possible way to use the Theory of didactic situations in the second level of Czech primary schools. The main topic of the experiment is the introduction of functions in the 9th grade of primary schools. The entire work is divided into two parts - theoretical and experimental. The theoretical part is focused on introduction of the Theory of didactic situations and processing the topic in the educational materials used in the Czech Republic. It also deals with the historical development of the topic of functions in the Czech curricula. In this context, the author conducted a survey, the purpose of which was primarily the view of a primary school mathematics teacher on teaching of functions and on changes that recently accompany the Czech school system. In the experimental part, the author presents detailed information about the educational block processed and implemented according to the principles of the Theory of didactic situations. The aim of the experiment was to watch the reaction of students to the concept of teaching according to the Theory of didactic situations and to evaluate their success in relation to the desired outcomes of the topic. The thesis describes the preparation, progress and evaluation of the prepared educational unit.

This thesis entitled "Use of didactical games in teaching mathematics at the lower secondary level" deals with the use of educational games in math classes at secondary schools. This work is composed of two main parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part introduces the concepts of the game, didactic game, math games. More specifically focus on the modification of the board game Monopoly. The practical part is devoted to quantitative research, which determines what is the attitude of mathematics teachers of lower secondary school teaching to the use of games in education, as well as focus on the views and experiences of students with didactic game. Also, the work compares the written test of the curriculum for the class that graduated mathematical hour with the inclusion of educational games monopolies and class that this teaching not undergone.

In this work I have been focusing on the educational use of textbooks, especially natural history textbooks, for sex education by the teachers of selected schools. First, I conducted a theoretical introduction to the issue of textbooks and teaching sex education. Then my interviews with teachers examined how sex education is taught and whether the teachers use their textbooks as teaching aid. I have thoroughly analysed these interviews, from which I then draw my conclusions: how textbooks are used as a teaching aid and the impact of the quality of textbooks on their use. Furthermore, I conducted my subjective evaluation of the textbooks that teachers said they use. I compared this review to the evaluation of teachers, so I could carry out a discussion of these views. As the result of my work I find that some of the teachers participating in my research use the textbook as teaching aid, some not. Their decision is not affected by the quality of the topic in the textbooks. Of much greater importance is the form of sex education the teacher chooses and how the topic is being explained. Analýza didaktické vybavenosti učebnic chemie pro základní školy v ČR / Didactical Equipment of Czech Elementary School Chemistry TextbooksŠubová, Šárka January 2020 (has links)
This thesis deals with the comparison of didactical equipment of Chemistry Textbooks for Basic Schools in the Czech Republic. The first part of the thesis is dedicated to the theory of textbooks and their research within it. The next part, which includes comparison of the textbooks, is pursued by the author from the perspective of two methods: the first being The Degree of Didactical Equipment and the second one The Determination of Didactical Criterion. According to the results of this thesis, the Chemistry Textbooks for Basic Schools in the Czech Republic are alike in its didactical equipment. There are similar structural components in each analysed textbook. There were found only small differences between the best didactically equipped textbooks (the textbooks of the publishers Nová škola and Fraus) and those with the lowest outcome (the textbooks of the publisher Taktik), although the time period between publishing the newest and the oldest textbook is more than 25 years. Due to homogeneity of the results and therefore lower possibility of comparing textbooks the method of the Determination of Didactical Criterion was applied. Tomáš Bartáček Pedagogická fakulty UK v Praze 2010 In this thesis, I compiled an educational set illustrating the microscopic anatomy of intervertebrates. This set is intended for use by students and teachers at high schools and gymnasia. It complements the common tools used for education in zoology of invertebrates. It combines a set of microscopic specimens (histological sections, smear and native specimens) and multimedia atlas. For the present work, I chose model invertebrates that have been commonly described in high school and gymnasia text books. For preparation of the histological sections, I used flatworms (Dugesia gonocephala), roundworms (Ascaris suum) and earthworms (Lumbricus terrestris). I prepared the specimens in accordance with standard methods shown in literature with slight modifications in order to make them suitable for the given specimens. I used paraffin as a cutting fluid and I stained the specimens using either Harris hematoxylin and eosin or Masson's trichrome stain. To create the smear specimens, I spread the animal tissues of interest, fixed them in methylene and stained using Giemsa-Romanowski stain. Title: Analysis of Didactic Interaction in Group Skiing Lessons for Adults Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to perform detailed analysis and comparison of the didactic teacher - student interaction during adult skiing lessons between two instructors with the same level of experience but different educational background. Methods: In our research we have employed a participant observation method using classification into a category system based on a standardised MADI (Modified Analysis of Didactic Interaction) technique. This includes 7 categories describing the forms of the teacher's behaviour, the didactic content of the lessons, didactic situations, and attitudinal characteristics. Results: The results of the study confirmed, among others, a higher incidence of the two most effective forms of teacher behaviour (correction and feedback information provision) in the instructor with pedagogical education, which was associated with a higher quality of the teaching process. The aim of this study is to collect the recent data about the establishing the lines of pluripotent stem cell and the usage of these cells for biomedical purposes. On this example, we integrated the education in life science and social science. Pluripotent stem cells were used as a key topic. During our project, we completed the PowerPoint presentation which provides the elementary knowledge on the method for establishing of pluripotent cell lines and the usage of these cells for biomedicine. We created the Czech version of didactic game PlayDecide based on the European Union project. Based on the experiences from this didactic game, the students will learn basic information on pluripotent stem cells and their usage in biomedicine. Students will establish their own opinion on ethical aspects of this topic. Students could be able to defend their opinion and to acknowledge all problems which stem from the suggested solutions. We tested this didactic game in schools.
