This thesis deals with phenomena of spatial visualization, application of spatial visualization in instruction and its educational specifics. The present thesis addresses the questions of definition of spatial visualization in instruction, specification of educational specifics and exploration of the relations between spatial visualization and cognitive processes. The experimental part of the thesis is focused on relations between the form of presentation of subject matter (planar visualization and spatial visualization), spatial intelligence, or the ability of mental rotation and the results of learning at students of lower secondary (ISCED 2) school. Elaboration of the theory given field of educational means, the thesis seeks to contribute to the development of theoretical bases of pedagogy with the context of increasing importance of technology for support education.

This thesis deals with phenomena of augmented reality in context of didactics. The thesis aims to define augmented reality in conceptual and content area and focuses on augmented reality in the structure of educational tools and identification of its functions and use from the didactical standpoint. The thesis characterizes augmented reality as a specific technological-perceptual concept and establishes a system of perceptual, technological and resulting aspects that reflect important parameters of augmented reality. The thesis also examines the didactic specifics of augmented reality, defines the main possible didactic intentions for its use and establishes a structure of augmented reality systems in terms of teaching forms. Thesis defines didactic qualities and specifics of augmented reality as a technical educational tool with the support of empirical research. The concept of the thesis represents a comprehensive study of augmented reality from different perspectives and standpoints related to education and it can be understood as a base for other more specific research projects related to the issue of the use of augmented reality in education. Biochemistry is usually the last taught discipline of chemistry. In the Czech Republic, grammar school students study biochemistry during the third or fourth grade. This can sometimes cause problems because there is often little time left for biochemistry when compared to other chemical disciplines. The content of the biochemical curriculum is often limited only to memorization of the most important facts and there is no time enough to point out the important relationships of biochemistry to everyday life. In the last year of study, many students have already decided whether or not to study chemistry in the future and it is then difficult to find some topics that would attract the attention of those who do not want to continue studying chemistry. The aim of the submitted diploma thesis is to complete a series of graded tasks from the manipulative environment of Parquet. Then apply these tasks to preschool and school children in the 1st year of elementary school. Not only observe how they cope with these activities, but also how they think, explain their actions, and how they communicate with each other. Observe myself, as a researcher, how do I work with children, how do I communicate with them and how do I submit them the tasks. Record my knowledge and learn from it. The theoretical part defines the individual stages for the preschool and pupils in terms of the development of psychology, they are constructive concepts of teaching mathematics with reference to the RVP ZV and RVP PV. Title: The Gymnastics objects analysis in preparation of physical education teachers with focus on Artistic gymnastics. Thesis objective This thesis was aimed to determine the content of Artistic gymnastics as a part of physical education teaching study programme. To achieve the primary objective two other sub-objectives were established. These were examined in two research phases: 1. the school documentation analysis in respect of: a) objectives, results and contents of Artistic gymnastics study plans b) distribution of individual Gymnastics objects (Artistic gymnastics in particular) and their frequency in a lesson plan 2. to learn and define requirements posed upon the personality of a high school physical education teacher. This diploma work raises the issues and subsequently the diagnostics of preconcepts for didactic concepts of students of teaching and primary school teachers. The aim of this work was to find out to what extent the perception of some chosen didactic concepts are related comparing students of pedagogical faculty and primary school teachers. The theoretical part aims to the technical definition of the semantic differential research method and definition of the concepts involved in the research. In the practical part the data relating to chosen didactic concepts were found and processed by method of semantic differential.

The thesis deals with activating teaching methods and their influence on vocabulary acquisition in the field of English for Medical Purposes. The experimental research explores the extent to which activating teaching methods influence the acquisition of professional vocabulary. For this purpose, a set of activities (didactic games and role-plays) was created and implemented at the beginning of each teaching block for the subject Medical English I and II. The main objective of these activities was the review of word stock from the previous lessons. The review was focused on the form, meaning, and use of words. In the research, both quantitative and qualitative methods of data collection were used, including progress tests, credit tests, and questionnaires. Progress tests and credit tests were used to measure whether there was a significant statistical difference regarding the professional vocabulary acquisition between the experimental and control groups. A statistically significant difference was found between the experimental and control groups at the B2 level only. It is primarily occupied with its interesting things and curiosities, which make it different from other regions. What is more, this thesis is concerned with the didactic application of the life and institutions of this region in the teaching of the French language. The aim of the thesis is therefore to introduce the region of Auvergne with all its regional interesting things and curiosities in a well arranged way and subsequently to suggest its didactic processing and to include it in the teaching of the French language. The didactic processing offers suggestions of various activities for different target groups of learners. As sources for this thesis have been used primarily books and publications focusing on French regions and the didactics of life and institutions, as well as current internet sources. The diploma thesis deals with the topic of the mathematical environment Bus realized through mathematical tasks in textbooks Hejný et al. The issue is aimed at pupils of the fourth grade of primary school. The main point of the theoretical part is study of gradual gradation of tasks in environment Bus from 1st to 5th grade of primary school. It was found that the frequency of the tasks in the textbook for the fourth grade is impaired and on the basis has been prepared experiment that complement the tasks so that the frequency has been unimpaired. The practical part includes the preparation of an experiment in which custom- designed tasks were formulated. They were linked with fourth-year primary school curriculum. By performing two experiments was obtained 262 pupil's solutions of tasks, in which were recorded and analyzed pupil's mistakes.
