Využití nanotechnologií, zejména CNT, v silikátových kompozitech / Use of nanotechnologies, especially CNT, in silicate composites

Jarolím, Tomáš January 2018 (has links)
Thesis theme were nanomaterials and its implementation to cementitious materials. Theoretical part has deal with description of carbon nanotubes types, their properties, production, ways of dispergation, nanotoxicity and CNT’s influence on silicate composites characteristics. Experimental part was divided to 5 stages. The first stages were focused on choosing appropriate carbon nanotubes and surfactants. In the next stage settings of US homogenizator were determinate (amplitude, US energy dosage, time). The part of US homogenizator setting process was observing influence of liquid environment characteristics (especially pH) on surface tension and particle distribution and influence of US energy on CNT walls damages through TEM. After dispergation parameters optimalization cement pastes were prepared and hydration temperature, hydration heat and viscosity were observed. Then testing specimens from cement mortar were prepared and tested form strength characteristics. Last stage was concrete production and their examination: compressive strength, flexural strength, static modulus of elasticity, dynamic modulus of elasticity, tensile splitting strength, depth of penetration of water under pressure, resistance of cement concrete surface to water and defrosting chemicals and determination of frost resistance of concrete. Samples with CNT addition had better strength characteristics and better resistance of penetration of water under pressure, water and defrosting chemicals resistance and frost resistance. Result of thesis is comprehensive study of CNT dispersion production and implementation CNT dispersion to concrete including testing specific concrete characteristics.

Ověřování vlastností betonů s uhlíkovými nanotrubičkami / Verification of the properties of concrete with carbon nanotubes

Kutová, Lenka January 2018 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with monitoring the properties of concrete with carbon nanoparticles. The theoretical part describes properties of nanoparticles, their dosing and dispersion. In the practical part of the diploma thesis the physico-mechanical properties of the concrete with the addition of carbon nanotubes were determined after 7 and 28 days of aging. The frost resistance test was then determined after 100 cycles. All results were compared with the reference samples.

Formulace a testování nanočástic z větvených polyesterů s siRNA / Formulation and testing of siRNA-loaded branched polyesters nanoparticles

Medviďová, Simona January 2018 (has links)
Charles University Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradcec Králové Department of Pharmaceutical Technology Supervisor: doc. RNDr. Milan Dittrich, CSc. Student: Simona Medviďová Title of thesis: Formulation and testing of branched polyesters siRNA-loaded nanoparticles The progression of development increases demand for new and more effective drug systems formulations. This diploma thesis is focused on the preparation of nanoparticles from biodegradable branched polyesters based on PLGA, which are suitable for the transport of an oligonucleotide of a small interfering nucleic acid, siRNA. The theoretical part focuses on the characteristics of usable polymers, their possible modifications, the methods of preparation with closer look at the selected nanoprecipitation method, the important parameters such as particles size, zeta potential, and polydispersity. The main part is also characterization of siRNA in terms of structure, properties, modifications, and its function. A more extensive experimental part deals with the appropriate choice of type and concentration of polyester and stabilizer, methods of preparation and characterization of nanoparticles, and the possibility of analyzing encapsulated siRNA. Chapters results and discussion compares polyesters branched on tripentaerythritol, and polyacrylic acid...

Betony s vysokoteplotními popílky aktivovanými nanočásticemi. / Concretes with high temperature fly ash activated by nanoparticles.

Labaj, Martin January 2016 (has links)
The aim of this thesis is to summarize the knowledge regarding reduction of negative impact of high volumes of fly ash in HVFA concretes using nanotechnology and experimentally verify the findings. To compensate the inferior early-age properties, it is possible to use active nanoparticles, such as nanosilica or nanolimestone. The first step of the experiment was the production of stable nanoparticle’s dispersions using ultrasonic homogenization and UV/Vis spectroscopy. In subsequent steps the influence of nanoparticle’s presence on cementitious materials’ properties was verified on cement pastes and mortars with 40 a 60 % of fly ash. The best variant was then used to produce nano-modified HVFA concretes. Even at a minimum dose, the positive effect on early-age properties indicates the usefulness of nanoparticles in technology of concrete. An important contribution of this thesis is also the acquired knowledge related to the nanoparticle’s behavior and handling.

Balciarová, Andrea January 2018 (has links)
Charles University Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Pharmaceutical Technology Consultant: doc. RNDr. Milan Dittrich, CSc. Student: Andrea Balciarová Title of Thesis: Formulation and testing of rifampicin-loaded branched polyesters nanoparticles In presented thesis, the main attention in theoretical part is focused on nanoparticles for targeted drug delivery, their types, structure and carriers used for their preparation. Moreover, in this part there is an overview of physicochemical characteristics and preparation methods of polymeric nanoparticles applicable in formulation of pharmaceutical products. The experimental part is concerned on studying the influence of the concentration of biodegradable polymers, the presence of cationic surfactants and rifampicin as model drug substance on nanoparticles΄ size and zeta-potential. The main attention is given to nanoparticles decoration with anionic biopolymers, hyaluronic acid and xanthan gum. The simple method of preparation which is usable in nanosystems formulation that influence biological functions purposefully was tried and tested in different contexts.

Zlepšení dispergace křemičitého úletu ve vysokohodnotných betonech / Improving of dispersion of silica fume in high performance concrete

Janča, Martin January 2017 (has links)
The goal of this work was to create a method for improving the dispersion of silica fumes for use in high performance concrete. Traditional methods used to design and manufacture high performance concrete emphasize the removal of coarse aggregates. Use of specially sorted fine aggregates at relatively low doses, the use of super-plasticizers and siliceous excrement. The low water content was achieved by using superplasticizer on a polycarboxylate basis. The standard ultrasound technology found in each laboratory was selected for the dispersion of silica fume. For experiments were we used dry silica fume powder and aqueous stabilized suspension. For comparison, were prepared different mixtures which showed the effects of the treatment prior to the use of silica fume.

Ověřování vlastností betonů s nanočásticemi / Verification of properties of concretes with nanoparticles

Pacltová, Klára January 2019 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with the influence of addition of carbon nanoparticles on cement composites. The theoretical part of the diploma thesis is focused on the research of information about carbon nanoparticles, more precisely about carbon nanotubes and graphene oxide. There are summarized methods of dispersing carbon nanotubes and their effects on cement composites. The practical part follows the theoretical part of the research. In the first phase, the correct technique of graphene oxide dispersion was verified. Subsequently, the effects of graphene oxide on the mechanical properties of cement mortars were verified. In the final phase of the diploma thesis, the knowledge gained from the previous part was verified on concrete samples.
