Genetická struktura a původ středoevropských populací listonoha jarního Lepidurus apus (Crustacea: Notostraca) / Genetic structure and origin of Central European populations of tadpole shrimp Lepidurus apus (Crustacea: Notostraca)

Vopařilová, Lucie January 2014 (has links)
Freshwater invertebrates especially species from temporary ponds are suitable model organisms for studying of dispersal mechanisms in their discontinous habitats. Tadpole shrimp Lepidurus apus (Notostraca) is restricted to vernal temporary waters in floodplain areas of big rivers. This Master's thesis is concentrated on survey of genetic variability and structure of L. apus population from Central Europe. Mitochondrial COI analysis of 45 specimens mostly from the Czech Republic indicates that all Central European specimens falls into the subspecies L. apus apus and also indicates low level of genetic variability and structure (on average 0,2 %). These results are confronted with other notostracan species, additionally with czech populations of coldstenothermal brine shrimp Eubranchipus grubii (Anostraca) and possible reasons of the low values are discussed.

Polarizační vidová disperze / Polarization mode dispersion

Turský, Aleš January 2008 (has links)
The work deals with dispersive effects of single mode fibers. We learn about the chromatic dispersion, the main attention is paid to the Polarization Mode Dispersion. We clarify the root cause origin of the Polarization Mode Dispersion describing parameters and its effect on transmitted data. Further on, the works dedicates to measure methods of the Polarization Mode Dispersion which is the interferometric method or the POTDR method. We explain the ways of the PMD removal at contemporary optic routes and options of PMD compensation by using compensators of various types. There is also mentioned the possibility of profiting from the soliton transmission. The last chapter deals with measuring of a real optic route. It includes measured data and its evaluation due to the ITU-T demands.

Měření disperzí optických přenosů / Dispersion measurements of optical transmissions.

Motúz, Rastislav January 2015 (has links)
This thesis firstly theoretically describes phenomena which appear in optical fiber transmission. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with linear and non-linear phenomena, and later on proceeds to dispersions with a more significant effect on the optical transmission quality. It puts polarization to the centre of the phenomenon called Polarization mode dispersion (PMD), which is the main object of our interest. It leads to a deep PMD description from the point of view of polarization states, limit values, compensation methods, and methods of measurement. The practical part of this thesis deals with a draft of PMD measurement via Fixed Analyzer method. For the purposes of this measurement, we used the optical spectral analyzer MS9740A. In order to compare measured values, the proposed idea then proceeds to the reference measurement by using a modular platform EXFO FTB--200 in combination with CD/PMD module EXFO FTB-5700. Results of measurements have been evaluated for the limit values defined by the standard. In the last chapter of this thesis, the reference measurements are compared to the Fixed Analyzer method. All the advantages and disadvantages of individual measurement methods are identified at the end of this chapter too.

PMD - polarizační vidová disperze a vliv na přenos / PMD - polarization mode dispersion and its effects on data transport

Trávníček, Pavel January 2009 (has links)
My graduation thesis is concerned with the effect of polarization mode dispersion on transmitted signal by optical line. It describes external and internal causes of origination of polarization mode dispersion. On the basis of these effects there is a differential group delay (DGD). It is the time delay in meantime within individual modes. DGD results in a time extension of impulsion and limitation of maximum bit rate. This thesis contains localization methods of part of gossamer filament with increased value of PMD by POTDR method. This method is based on the principium of back dispersion and its modifications SOP a DOP. Very important chapter of this thesis is the measurement of the polarization mode dispersion. There are described methods of PMD measurement. It is the interferometric and polarimetric method and the method of state of polarization. The major part of this thesis is about the reduction of polarization mode dispersion effect. This part is divided into two parts. First part is about the methods of PMD effect reduction and the second one is about the PMD compensation. The discrepancy between these two parts is the reduction way of PMD effect on transmitted channel. The compensation use the compensation components inserted into the transmission path. By PMD reduction methods we can solve the problems from the view of changing of fibre or all cable. For better understanding of polarization mode dispersion effect there are simulated 4 optical lanes of various parameters. The simulation output is the eye diagram which provides the view at results of transmission lane. In the final part there is the evaluation of measured parameters of optical lanes simulated in a laboratory.

Prášil, Jiří January 2009 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with analysis of current diagnostic methods of optical networks, and it is focused on optical fiber dispersion in singlemode fibers. The work starts with a describtion chromatic dispersion and polarization mode dispersion, causes of and thein influence on the transmitted signal at the beginning. There are set out principles and their appropriate use in the list of measuring methods. Furthermore, the work are given the current possibilities for compensation above dispersions. The sixth chapter deals with the measurements and simulations of real routes in the OptiSystem. There are given appropriate compensation methods for the selected route speeds in the last chapter. The simulation is performed for the bit rate 2.5 Gbit / s, 10 Gbit / s and 40 Gbit / s.

Disperzní vlivy optických vláken na multiplexní přenosy / The Optical Fibre Dispersion Effects on Multiplex Transmission Systems

Kyselák, Martin January 2009 (has links)
This doctoral thesis deals with present trend to turn up the bit rate of the optical fibres making use of wavelenght multiplex systems. There are new theoretical and practical problems caused by the new technologies. Except the known modal dispersion there exist problems caused by chromatical and polarization mode dispersion. In the opening of the thesis the known effects, which influence the payload signal, are introduced. The polarization mode dispersion has the main attention. Within the scope of this thesis there has been programmed the statistical calculator which can analyses the measured values of differential group delay by Monte Carlo calculation. Next meaningful output is the designating application of the optical routes. It is possible to mathematicaly unambiguously define the polarization mode dispersion by Jones, Stokes and Poynting vectors. This complicated calculations are mechanized and in the simulation application make possible to simulate the signification of the PMD influence at different input parameters. The thesis includes the study of the PMD modulation format impact with the results of simulations and confrontation with other scientists results. The significant output are the final practical results examinations, which can be implemented thanks to the possibility of using the FTB-5500B measuring device.

Hodnocení vlivu struktury krajiny na disperzi rysa ostrovida v Pošumaví / Assessment of the impact of landscape structure on the dispersion of lynx in Posumavi

Sladová, Michaela January 2014 (has links)
Assessment of the impact of landscape structure on the dispersion of lynx in Posumavi Abstract: The big predators are a traditional group of bioindicative species, whose presence shows the state of environment and landscape within a region. As these animals recolonize the cultural landscape of central Europe it's needed to understand their space requirements and habitat preferences. The lynx (Lynx lynx) has been one of the Sumava forest species since the 70's. After almost 40 years the population of lynx has spread from Sumava and Bavarian Forest to forested parts of Cesky Les, Smrcina and Novohradske hory and to both sides of state borders. However today's state of lynx population, stable number of animals or genetic variability is endangered by many factors. Long term viability of the lynx population is - besides poaching or illegal hunting − affected by the loss of suitable habitats and ongoing fragmentation of the landscape. One of the possible solutions of negative impacts is delineation and protection of landscape permeability of habitat corridors. They might have provide supply of new individuals to small, extinction prone population and at the same time they could reinforce overall fitness population. This thesis has three main objectives:1) evaluation of landscape fragmentation and connectivity in...

Granulometrie nanočástic z kopolymerů alifatických hydroxykyselin. / Granulometry of nanoparticles from aliphatic acids copolymers.

Šrejma, Robert January 2016 (has links)
The diploma thesis is focused on the study of influence on the composition of the system to the size of the nanoparticles from aliphatic polyesters with linear and branched molecules constitution. The emulsion method for distributing of solvent was chosen for preparation of nanoparticles. The theoretical part describes the nanoparticles, its origin and application. The following part is applying to biodegradable polymers, especially PLGA. There is also a mention of antifungal agent terbinafine. The nanoparticles are prepared of this substance. The process is described in the experimental part of thesis. The experimental part is testing different composition of samples. A main emphasis is on the choice of polymer solvent and emulsifier. There are also applied mixtures of solvents and emulsifiers. The important aspect is the evaluation of incorporated terbinafine, which has been the model drug. Prepared dispersions were exposed to stress conditions in the form of several days-storage and centrifugation.
