Stimulace dítěte s Dandy-Wolker syndromem: TheraSuit Method / Stimulation of the Child with dandy-walker syndrome: Therasuit Method

1 ABSTRACT This diploma issue brings the new knowledge from the physiotherapeutical and special educational intervention like diagnostics and therapy by multiple disabeled child with Dandy-Walker syndrom. Therapeutical method which we deals with is called TheraSuit. One of the aims of this work is to find out which areas of the psychomotor development is primary focused on TheraSuit. We would like to know what is its advantage over the use of standard rehabilitation techniques in outpatient care. Research methods are semistructured interview with the mother of the respondent, observation, special educational and physiotherapeutic diagnostics and aplication of their techniques. Effectiveness of these remedial procedures we are verifying by standardized tests, kineziological analyzes, assesements of self-sufficiency and gross motors skills at the end of every rehabilitation. This research confirms efficiency of exercises with TheraSuit Method particurally in speed of locomotion development by our respondent. However it is not possible to neglect of outpatient treatment with the use of usual therapeutic process especially because of their easy application at home. Provision of Library Services to disadvantaged children in rural areas of the Limpopo Province

The purpose of the study was to identify the types of library services available in rural areas of Thohoyandou in order to recommend appropriate library services to disadvantaged children in rural areas of the Limpopo Province. Data were collected by means of structured questionnaires in a survey. The problems experienced in rendering library services to children, the factors influencing rural children's information use, and the role that school libraries play in meeting the needs of rural children were investigated. The findings show that rural children's information needs are primarily related to homework assignments. Teachers and learners approach people for information rather than making use of library resources for this purpose. This is due to the fact that most rural schools do not have libraries. Materials are stored in classrooms and storerooms. The existing book stock seems to be outdated, disorganised and inaccessible. Library service rendering is neglected. Most teacher-librarians are not professionally trained to render user services and to teach children information skills. Teachers, teacher-librarians, policy makers and administrators in rural schools seem to be indifferent to providing these services to children. / Information Science / M.A. (Information Science)

Darbe išanalizuota tema ,,neįgaliųjų socialinės paramos strateginės plėtros problemos Lietuvoje“. Pagrindinė šios temos problema yra, jog deklaratyviai socialinės paramos sektoriuje teisės aktų leidyba vykdoma per 2003 – 2012 nacionalinę žmonių su negalia integracijos metų programą, tačiau ši programa neturi aiškių strateginių elementų, t. Y. Prioritetų, uždavini���, Tikslų, todėl stinga tikslaus programos įgyvendinimo. Šio darbo pagrindiniai tikslai buvo atskleisti neįgalumo sampratą istoriniu ir filosofiniu aspektu, teisinės bazės pagalba išryškinti socialinės paramos teikimo trūkumus, įvardinti pagrindines socialinės paramos strateginės plėtros problemas ir remiantis empiriniais duomenimis išanalizuoti ir įvertinti pagrindines inovacinės ir socialinės aplinkos pritaikymo problemas studijuojantiems neįgaliesiems. Šiems tikslams pasiekti buvo naudojami šie uždaviniai: 1. Apžvelgta neįgalumo sampratą istoriniais ir filosofiniais aspektais; 2. supažindinta su neįgalumo ideologija Lietuvoje; 3. išanalizuota socialinės paramos sektoriaus teisinė bazė 4. ištirtas inovacinės ir socialinės aplinkos pritaikymas neįgaliesiems ir empyrinių duomenų pagalba atskleistos vyraujančios tendensijos. Pagrindinis darbo objektas - neįgalieji. Objekto dalykas - asmenys, turintys sensorinių sutrikimų, bei šiems asmenims teikiama socialinė parama ir socialinės paramos teikimo nekryptingumas. Main purposes of this work were to describe conseption of dissability in historical and philosophycal aspects, to point gaps of social promotion with the help of juridical base and to analyse main problems with the help of practical data of social and inovation environment. / In dieser Arbeit wurde Das rechtliche befasst sich mit dem Thema „Probleme strategischer Entwicklung im Bereich der Sozialfürsorge für Behinderten in Litauen“. Das Hauptproblem des Themas ist, dass die rechtliche Basis aufgrund des nationalen Programms der Integration von Behinderten für den Zeitraum 2003 – 2012 nur deklaratir erlassen wird, aber dieses Program enthält keine strategischen Elementen, d. i. Aufgaben, Zielen, deswegen kann das Program nur schwer verwirklicht werden. Die Hauptziele der Arbeit: Den Begriff des Behindertenseins unter philosophischem und historischem Aspekt darzustellen, mithilfe der rechtlichen Basis negative strategische Nachteile der Gewährleistung der Sozialfürsorge hervorzuheben, die Hauptprobleme der strategischen Entwicklung im Bereich Sozialfürsorge zu nennen und die Anwendungsprobleme des innovativen und sozialen Umfelds für studierende Behinderten im Bereich der Sozialfürsorge zu bewerten. The diploma thesis "Information literacy lessons and persons with mental disabilities in libraries of the Czech Republic" brings besides the basic concepts in the mental disablilities and information literacy field also their mutual context in the information education field. Further it presents results of the questionnaire survey, which focused on mapping of services for persons with mental disabilities in libraries in the Czech Republic and it brings a concept of a complex solution to providing these services in the Czech Republic.
