It brings along burdensome work for the national legislators to duly transpose the requirements of the european and international legal standards. Mediální obraz "Západu" v týdenících Obzory a Tvorba v letech 1945-1948 / The Presentation of the Occident in magazines Obzory and Tvorba in 1945-1948

Brandejská, Anna January 2012 (has links)
The diploma thesis "The media image of the Occident in magazines Obzory and Tvorba in 1945-1948" examines by using quantitative content analysis the portrayal of the Western world in provided magazines. It can be assumed that the magazines wrote about the Occident differently. Tvorba, magazine published by the communist party, is likely to be negative, while Obzory, published by the People's Democracy, would probably describe the West in a positive way. A description of the political situation in Czechoslovakia and in the world in postwar years, as well as the Czechoslovak media landscape, are included in the thesis to put into context.

Mrázková, Hana January 2012 (has links)
TITLE: Legal Acts Aimed at the Termination of Employment SUMMARY: The reason why I choose for my thesis the theme Legal Acts Aimed at the Termination of Employment is that I think that this theme is very topic and important. Znalosti žáků o reprodukčním zdraví na 2. stupni vybrané ZŠ / Knowledge about reproductive health at stage 2 of the selected primary school

Řeháková, Veronika January 2017 (has links)
This master thesis focuses on the knowledge of reproductive health among middle schoolers in the targeted middle schools in the Czech Republic. In the theoretical part of my work, I define the term of reproduction health, describe physiology of female and male genitals, disorders in reproductive health, and types of methods -natural invasive- offered by anticonception. Another part of my thesis concerns on reproductive health related to a prostitution, and a sexual abuse, and pregnancy impact on teenage girls' bodies during pubescence. I track the representation of teaching reproductive health in middle schools through RSVP and its main goals in certain areas and key competencies. The goal of my thesis was to map out the knowledge of reproductive health among the students who have been taught this knowledge through a class. As a research methodology, I used a survey that was distributed among middle schoolers in the sixth to eight grades. The results of my survey show that the eighth graders have the most amount of knowledge about reproductive health, but somehow still lower than one might expect. For these reasons, my study intends to deepen the knowledge of reproductive health among middle school students through different projects that will expand students' practical and theoretical knowledge of...

Lexikální a slovotvorné rozdíly v překladu Nového zákona Johnem Purveyem (1388) a překladateli Bible Douay-Rheims (1582) na pozadí historického vývoje angličtiny / Lexical and word-formation differences between the New Testament translation by John Purvey (1388) and the translators of the Douay-Rheims Bible (1582) against the background of the historical development of the English language

Hauck, Nikol January 2013 (has links)
The main objective of the present thesis is to characterize lexical and word-formation differences in the New Testament translation by John Purvey (also known as the second version of the Wycliffite Bible, 1388) and the translators of the Douay-Rheims Bible (1582), with the focus on the differences which are believed to be influenced by the objective changes in the language. For this reason, the very analysis is preceded by two chapters, the first one identifying the subjective strategies of the translators and the second one describing the objective changes that occurred in the language during the two hundred years that separate the two Bibles. The comparison of the Wycliffite and Douay-Rheims Bible, which is also a contribution to a word-formation and lexical-semantic development from the fourteenth to the sixteenth century, is based on four books of the New Testament, namely the Gospel of Mark, Acts of the Apostles, the Second Epistle to the Corinthians and the Book of Revelation. The thesis also aims to assess the attitude of the translators towards their common source, the Latin Vulgate, but leaves aside the circumstances of religious controversy and its impact on the motivation and strategy of the translators. Another objective is to assess both translations as certain milestones in the...

Kučera, Jan January 2017 (has links)
This dissertation, entitled "Invalid Termination of Employment, and Related Consequences", aims to provide a comprehensive look into the issue of invalid employment termination by giving notice, immediately terminating an employment, or the employer cancelling employment during a trial period, and of the related consequences. The dissertation is divided into three main chapters. The first chapter briefly characterizes employment as a special private relationship, and industrial conduct as a legal fact which results in establishing, altering, and terminating employment. Special attention is paid to the individual aspects of industrial conduct whose fulfilment is a prerequisite for perfect industrial conduct. The second chapter focuses on the consequences of faults in industrial conduct, intending mainly to alert the reader to the necessity of differentiating between seemingly legal conduct and invalid legal conduct. The second chapter then identifies and analyses reasons which cause a court to determine the invalidity of a notice, immediate employment termination, or employment cancellation during a trial period by the employer. The third chapter contains an analysis of consequences which may arise if a notice, immediate employment termination, or employment cancellation during a trial period by the...
