The effect of european partnership on the agricultural policy of Syria

The application of the agreement partnership between Syria and EU will be reflected on the Syrian agriculture in general and on agricultural policy. The objectives of this thesis are to evaluate the impact of the agreement and its implications on the Syrian agricultural policy and to identify the problems and difficulties faced by the application of the convention and to find the best ways for Syria in order to achieve gains of this convention. I describe the reality of the current agricultural policies in Syria, as well as the relation with the EU, and to study the requirements of the convention and the surrounding circumstances and the chances of success. The thesis runs on agricultural sector in Syria to exam the realities of the agricultural policy and there were a special attention paid on wheat as a strategic crop in Syria. I use a statistical method to obtain the desired results, thus method is The Policy Analysis Matrix (PAM).

This work deals with the specifics of relations between entities in the negotiation and implementation of international transport of goods. Since he is currently the most common way of transport of goods in Central Europe freight road transport of goods, the text is mainly dedicated to this issue. The underlying code for the obligations in this respect, the Convention CMR, which is devoted to a large part of the work. In other parts of the work is also introduced to the TIR Convention, the ADR Agreement concerning the international carriage of dangerous goods and the ATP Agreement, which defines the requirements for the transport of perishable foodstuffs. In the end, understand that INCOTERMS clauses with international trade and international transport of goods is closely related.

Práce se zabývá mezinárodní ochranou práv k ochranným známkám, označením původu a zeměpisným označením. Práce začíná obecným úvodem do práva duševního a průmyslového vlastnictví. První část práce se věnuje úpravě ochranných známek, označení původu a zeměpisných označení v ČR. Hlavní část práce se zabývá mezinárodním zápisem ochranných známek na základě Madridské dohody o mezinárodním zápisu ochranných známek a Protokolu k této dohodě a dále mezinárodním zápisem označení původu na základě Lisabonské dohody na ochranu označení původu a o jejich mezinárodním zápisu. Dále je popsán i způsob přihlašování ochranných známek do EU a přihlašování označení národní cestou.

The reflection of the Anglo-American institute of the agreement on guilt and punishment in the chosen European countries Abstract The goal of this thesis is to describe which elements of an Anglo-American institute of the agreement on guilt and punishment (represented by the American federal legal regulation as the most influential regulation of this institute) are reflected in legal regulations of an agreement on guilt and punishment in chosen European countries (Slovakia and the Czech Republic) by a detailed analysis of particular legal regulations. This thesis is supposed to inform about the history of the institute of the agreement on guilt and punishment in countries of its origin (England, Wales and the USA) including its spreading into countries with European continental law tradition. An agreement on guilt and punishment The presented thesis deals with the relatively new institute of the criminal procedure, namely the agreement on guilt and punishment (hereinafter also referred to as "agreement") that was implemented into Czech law by an amendment of the Code of Criminal Procedure, namely by the Act no. 193/2012 Sb., effective from 1 September 2012. The introductory chapter deals with a closer description of the agreement on guilt and punishment. The author presents first available definitions of the agreement and points up its questionable classification as one of the so called "deviations" from the regular criminal procedure. The thesis evaluates the harmonization of this institute with the basic principles of criminal procedure, the fulfilment of which is decisive for the typical character of the continental criminal procedure. In this chapter, the thesis also deals with the question whether the agreed sanction is capable of fulfilling the purpose of punishment as such. The second chapter of the thesis is focused on the prerequisites that are necessary for the prosecutor and the accused to be allowed to enter into the agreement on guilt and punishment. The first part of this thesis is focused theoretically on related legislation of public procurement in the Czech Republic. Herein are in this thesis defined public pro-curements and their types, role of contracting authority and award procedure. The further chapter is devoted to the bid rigging and to its theoretical background. The second part of thesis analyses decisions of the case law of bid rigging, influence of the bid rigging. Furthermore, there are suggested the possible results of detection and prevention of bid rigging.

Cartel agreements constitute a distortion to consumer ́s welfare and economics environment itself by yielding higher profits without risks to those who engage in anticompetitive behavior. Therefore the purpose of this master thesis is to analyze the aspects of sanctioning cartels under Czech and European law especially with regard to the many recent changes in legislation regulating the protection of competition. The thesis is composed of fifteen chapters. Chapter one defines cartels and their characteristics. Second chapter builds on the first by introducing, the types of prohibited agreements. The background in history of competition regulation and its upcoming challenges is provided in chapter three followed by explanation of the reasons why it is necessary to prosecute competitors who engage in anticompetitive conduct in chapter four. Since these reasons have changed several times in history as have the views of the regulator on the need of market regulation, it is important to explore the issue of inconsistency as they still remain topic of discussion even nowadays. Chapter five provides overview of the institutions whose task it is to enforce competition law. The theoretical part is presented by European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road, the obligations of individual participants in the transport, class of dangerous substances and articles, the documents required for carriage, used packaging and safety signs as well as provisions for loading, unloading and handling. The practical part describes the specific case which occurred during the transport of dangerous goods, their assessment and propose preventive measures.
