The thesis is divided into four main parts. The first part starts with the business`s macro environment analysis, which describes the economic factors, political factors, technological factors of the transport market. Further, an analysis company, which includes financial analysis, staffing analysis, analysis of business microenvironment and SWOT analysis. Another section is the strategy of the company, including marketing strategy, market segmentation and human resource management. The last part is about the vision for the future, this part is a draft plan of the reorganization.

The aim of the master’s thesis is to show how location of companies influences the regional development. The thesis is focused on transport and storage industry and its influence on the South Moravian region development. For the evaluation of the influence of the industry or more precisely its companies is used a case study based on 3 companies with different size and with different product portfolio structure. According to obtained results it can be stated that companies in addition to supporting employment in specific region also offer wages on average up to CZK 10,000 higher than the average of the South Moravia region and Czech Republic. The negative influence that the automobile transport has on the environment could be possibly decreased with alternative truck drives or combined transport. Conversely, small freight forwarding companies that do not operate their own vehicles reduce the need to use other vehicles for shipment because of the documenting of their costs.

The aim of thesis was to evaluate the significance of coach, rail and individual transport though a comparative analysis. The statistical data was used to make compararisons of coach, rail and individual car traffic and evaluated on the basis of their importance.Results based on our own research and analysis of the current state of the examined modes of transport were used to develop recommendations which should help increase the competitiveness of specific transports company.

The aim of my thesis is to make mutual comparison of individual regions in terms of traffic characteristics and their subsequent evaluation.

This diploma thesis with the company process management, and focuses on chosen processes and their optimalization in a medium-sized enterprise. The chosen enterprise belongs to leading Czech / European heavy-lift hauliers that transports mostly out-of-gauge cargo by road. The first part of this thesis defines elementary and theoretical terms that help readers understand this work. In the second part the chosen enterprise and its core business is introduced. This is followed by the enterprise analysis, and actual process mapping, based on author's long-term monitoring in a combination with interviews with process users and owners. The optimalization goal was a process adjustment to the state which maximalize company resources while removing found deficiencies.

The issue of the paper concerns the transport situation through all the modes of the transportation in the European area and their potential way of growth in the future. The characteristic of each transport mode is taken from the point of both freight and passenger's transport view with focus on the EU member states. The paper issue relates to the EU common transport policy and its priorities.

The work provides basic information about the infrastructure of Belarus. The work is divided into five chapters. each of them provides information about rail, auto, aviation and water transport. The last chapter is devoted to statistic data that show the development of transport in Belarus in recent years.
