This diploma thesis concentrates on the evaluation of the quality of transport infrastructure. The main aim is to compare regions of the Czech Republic from the view of transport infrastructure. This thesis uses as a source of information, strategic documents from regions, data from Czech Statistic Office and data from Ministry of Transport. This thesis concentrates on every type of transport -- road transport, railway transport, air transport, water transport. It takes bicycle transport as an additional type of transport. For each region, analysis has been compiled for all functional components of transport in the region's territories. The parts that include road and railway transport are filled in by results of calculation based on statistical data. Characteristics of regions and their aims in transport infrastructure are included in the thesis. Categorization of regions is based on elaborated analysis. When looking at the overall evaluation, the best region was Kralovéhradecký Region, the second best was Pardubický Region and the third best was Středočeský Region. In the second part of the table were the following places regions: Region Vysočina, Jihočeský Region, Liberecký Region, Plzeňský Region and Olomoucký Region. Last three positions have Jihomoravský Region, Moravskoslezský Region and Zlínský Region.

This diploma thesis is focused on the public transport. The theoretical part contains short characteristics of the transport infrastructure followed by a description of the logistics processes in public transport. The practical part focused on the transport network in the city of Ostrava aims at the public transport in the city, particularly public transport system and integrated transport system. The goal of thesis is to give the readers a comprehensive look at the public transport in Ostrava and to present the tramtrain system.

The thesis deals with Hong Kong in terms of logistics, economy and foreign trade. The main goal of the paper is to evaluate the current status of Hong Kong in international trade and transport. Partial objectives of the thesis include answering the question of logistics and infrastructure facilities sufficiency and analysing Hong Kong's status within the principle One Country, Two Systems. In terms of methodology, the thesis works with time comparison, relation analysis, root cause analysis and deduction. The paper is divided into four parts. The first one deals with logistics from the general and theoretical point of view. The second part focuses on Hong Kong economy development after 1997. In the third part, Hong Kong foreign trade development from 1980s until now is analysed and the last part deals with transport and logistics in Hong Kong.

This diploma thesis is concerned with the issue of sustainable transport. In the theoretical part, the emphasis is placed on setting the concept of sustainable transport into a broader context; it also describes various factors influencing the choice of the means of transport, which is crucial for transport planning. Furthermore, it describes a set of diverse tools used for transport regulation. At the end of the theoretical part, it mentions specific approaches implemented in selected cities all over the world. The practical part is based on a significant personal research, which helps to understand the issues of transport in a selected area of Prague. On the basis of this research, it subsequently suggests possible measures that might lead to a decrease in the intensity of automobile transport in the aforementioned area. Most of those measures can be similarly applied in other city areas as well.

This thesis on a topic of "Analysis of insurance in trading and transport company" is about insurance products connected with cargo transport. The thesis analysis current insurance products, that a company should have, while in business. These products should secure the company in case of an unexpected insurance event and consists of several type sof insurance, such as liability motor insurance, car insurance, legal protection insurance and third-party insurance. The thesis main point is to show the importace of insurance in cargo transport and describes a komplex view to all the insurance avers that are suitable, useful, redquired and offered by insurance companies, for a company with such a nature of business.

Investment projects of companies can be assessed by various methods. There are methods non-profit character, as well as static methods, dynamic methods and real option methods. The basic requirement for the method should include liquidity factor, time factor and the risk factor in the evaluation. Methods that do not respect these demands, we can consider the approximate methods. However, there are areas where these methods can not be simply used.             The main objectives of this thesis are the specifications of the problems of development of transport, especially railway transport in the Czech Republic and its comparison with neighboring countries and the characteristics and assessment methods to evaluate investments in transport, which are used for the assessment of transport projects in the Czech Republic.

This diploma thesis focuses on the traffic situation in the town of Litovel in the Olomouc Region. Analysis of transport modes, especially road transport, cycling transport, parking and a proposal of their optimization, is the content of this thesis. The first part of the thesis describes the current traffic situation in the town of Litovel, the determination of traffic load according to the Nationwide Traffic Census and the degree of automation as per public databases operated by authorities of the state administration of the Czech Republic. Furthermore, the thesis deals with localities of frequent accident rates, the determination of their risks leading to traffic accidents, and it proposes measures to improve the comfort and safety of road users. In the chapters devoted to parking in various areas of the town, divided according to their functional use, the deficiencies of parking spots are discovered and subsequently their optimal solutions are elaborated. The last part of this thesis deals with cycle routes in the town, it searches for specific places with imperfections and the concept of their solution.

This masters thesis is looking into problematics of making logistical processes much more effective in the field of shipping, storing and cargo management in frozen meat distribution business. After analyzing current problems with shipping and storage in subjected company, solution will be crafted and guidelines to alleviate and improve current situation.

It is an area of criminology, which recently has been becoming more and more important, due to constant increase of traffic in general. Nearly every human participates in traffic every day, therefore we all are becoming potential victims or perpetrators of traffic crimes. This topic is too wide for one thesis and it is impossible cover the whole subject in total. So the aim of this thesis is first to give a comprehensive presentation of basic knowledge about traffic criminality, and than focus on more narrowly defined subject, for which I chose criminality with participation of cyclists. I decided for this specialization, because cycling is deep in my heart and I am an active road and track racer. The thesis consists of four chapters. The first chapter deals with the most basic issues like: definition of the term traffic, types and division of traffic, definition of the term traffic criminality, features of traffic criminality as branch of criminology and determination of traffic crimes. This master thesis focuses on public spaces in cities. The thesis is divided into three parts: theoretical, analytical and practical. The topic of the theoretical part is public space with focus on city square and street. Another topic is a traffic in a city. Because the chosen model space is a small town, the thesis also briefly covers small town issues topic in the conclusion part. Nove Mesto na Morave’s town centre was chosen as the model space for the practical and analytical part of this thesis. The analytical part contains all the necessary surveys and research for the whole town and is followed by detailed surveys and research created specifically for the area of focus. The last part of the thesis includes a design which was created based on the information covered in previous chapters. The aim of the study is to show different options in small town’s central public space planning.
