Esta pesquisa apresenta o tema da formação de professores para atuar no ensino superior. Estudos apontam que o professor universitário no Brasil não tem recebido a devida formação para a docência pelas universidades ficando sua ação aquém da complexidade exigida para o ensino na Educação Superior. Na Universidade de São Paulo, a formação para a docência ocorre pela via do Programa de Aperfeiçoamento de Ensino (PAE-USP), no qual os pós-graduandos cumprem duas etapas: a preparação pedagógica e o estágio supervisionado em docência. O objetivo deste trabalho é investigar o Programa de Aperfeiçoamento do Ensino da Universidade de São Paulo como espaço institucional de formação de professores para o ensino superior, a partir da perspectiva dos seus egressos, que hoje atuam como docentes em instituições de ensino superior públicas brasileiras. O referencial teórico tem como base estudos sobre a universidade contemporânea, o cenário atual da formação de professores universitários, a docência universitária na perspectiva da complexidade, dos saberes da docência e do desenvolvimento profissional docente. A metodologia utilizada é de abordagem qualitativa, sendo utilizados como instrumentos de coleta de dados questionários e entrevistas semiestruturadas. Participaram da pesquisa 14 docentes de IES públicas brasileiras, que realizaram o Programa PAE na Faculdade de Ciências Farmacêuticas de Ribeirão Preto da USP entre 2005 e 2013. A análise dos dados foi realizada por meio da Análise de Conteúdo Análise Temática, utilizando-se de duas categorias criadas a priori: saberes da docência e desenvolvimento profissional. Os resultados apontam que o Programa PAE, na perspectiva dos seus participantes, possui mais significado na medida em que o estagiário tem maior contato com a prática docente. Os participantes reiteram a importância de espaços e programas para a formação docente para o Ensino Superior, inicial e continuada. / This research presents the theme of teacher training to work in higher education. Studies point out that the university professor in Brazil has not received the necessary training for teaching by the universities and their action falls short of the complexity required for teaching in Higher Education. At the University of São Paulo, training for teaching takes place through the Program for the Improvement of Teaching (PAE-USP), in which postgraduates fulfill two complementary stages: pedagogical preparation and supervised teaching. The objective of this work is to investigate the Program for the Improvement of Teaching at the University of São Paulo as an institutional space for teacher education for higher education, from the perspective of its alumni, who now act as teachers in Brazilian public higher education institutions. The theoretical framework is based on studies on the contemporary university, the current scenario of university teacher training, university teaching in the perspective of complexity, teaching knowledge and professional teacher development. The methodology used is a qualitative approach, being used as instruments of data collection questionnaires and semi-structured interviews. A total of 14 subjects, teachers of Brazilian public HEIs, who participated in the PAE Program at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Ribeirão Preto, USP, between 2005 and 2013, participated in the study. Data analysis was performed through Content Analysis - Thematic Analysis, Two categories created a priori. The results indicate that the PAE Program, from the perspective of its participants, has more meaning in that the trainee has more contact with the teaching practice. The participants reiterate the importance of spaces and programs for teacher education for Higher Education.

Causal Relations Among 12th Grade Students

The purpose of this study is to invetigate the causal relationships among 12th grade students&rsquo / geometry knowledge regarding prisms and pyramids, spatial ability, gender, and school type. Path analysis was used to test the relationships among knowledge factors (declarative, conditional, and procedural knowledge), spatial ability factors (spatial visualization, mental rotation, and spatial perception ability), gender (female and male), and school type (general high schools and Anatolian high schools). Knowledge factors and spatial ability factors were determined by carrying out confirmatory factor analysis for the Prisms and Pyramids Knowledge Test and Purdue Spatial Visualization Test separately. Results revealed the bilateral relations among students&rsquo / declarative, conditional and procedural knowledge / and the bilateral relations among spatial visualization, mental rotation, and spatial perception ability. When relations among spatial ability factors and knowledge factors were examined, the importance of the students&rsquo / spatial abilities on geometry performance was exposed explicitly. Spatial visualization and mental rotation ability have positive direct effects on all knowledge factors. Additionally, spatial perception ability have positive direct effect on declarative and procedural knowledge. On the other hand, school type has positive direct effects on students&rsquo / geometry knowledge factors and spatial ability factors. These effects exposed the superiority of students in Anatolian high schools in respect of students in general high schools. Moreover, direct effects of gender on mental rotation ability, spatial perception ability, and declarative knowledge were found. Although, results presented the male superiority in mental rotation and spatial perception abilities, direct effect of gender on declarative knowledge indicate the female advantage.

Conhecimento e percepção de estudantes de um curso Técnico em Enfermagem acerca da violência doméstica contra a mulher perpetrada pelo parceiro íntimo / Knowledge and perception of students of a Nursing Technical course on violence against women perpetrated by the intimate partner

O tema violência doméstica contra a mulher é um problema universal, pelo seu impacto nas áreas econômicas, sociais, educacionais e da saúde. A enfermagem tem um papel significativo no reconhecimento e acompanhamento dos casos, mas faz-se necessário que os profissionais estejam capacitados para tal. O objetivo deste estudo foi identificar a percepção e o conhecimento de estudantes de um curso técnico em enfermagem acerca da violência doméstica contra a mulher perpetrada pelo parceiro íntimo. Trata-se de um estudo quantitativo, descritivo, exploratório e transversal. Foi aplicado um questionário validado com questões sobre percepção e o conhecimento acerca da violência contra a mulher. A amostra contou com a participação de 84 estudantes dos três módulos do curso, com idade igual ou superior a 18 anos, no ano de 2017. Os dados foram organizados em planilhas, validados por dupla digitação e posteriormente transportados para o pacote estatístico do programa Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) versão 22.0. O estudo foi aprovado pelo comitê de ética em pesquisa. Os resultados mostraram que os estudantes se sentem à vontade em perguntar às clientes sobre o uso de álcool ou tabaco, porém incomodados em tratar sobre o uso de drogas, vida sexual e violência conjugal. Tendem a infantilizar o atendimento à mulher em situação de violência. Discordaram que fatores sociais sejam causas de agressão, mas concordaram que o uso abusivo de álcool ou drogas e problemas psicológicos do parceiro possam estar entre as causas. Afirmaram que os agressores devem ser presos, mas há a crença de que a violência doméstica seja um assunto de fórum íntimo e privado. Demonstraram ter bom conhecimento sobre a definição das várias formas de violência, e reconhecimento de sinais e sintomas, contudo, baixo conhecimento sobre a epidemiologia da violência contra a mulher. Afirmaram ser atribuição do profissional de enfermagem abordar sobre violência doméstica, mas que esta não seja direta ou insistente. Discordaram que o profissional deva ignorar sinais de violência, assim como referiram que há necessidade de agendar retorno em intervalos menores, em casos suspeitos de violência doméstica. Quase metade dos estudantes desconhecem protocolos de atendimento à mulher em situação de violência sexual e a maioria afirmou que o médico não deve prescrever calmante/antidepressivos para a mulher agredida. Referiram que é válido avaliar com a cliente os riscos à que estão expostas e elaborar um plano de segurança. Responderam que a terapia de casal e psicoterapia seja recomendável. A minoria reconheceu a importância da notificação dos casos, mas afirmaram a importância de fornecer número de telefone de instituições que acolhem mulheres e recorrer à delegacia da mulher. Enfim, os achados demonstraram que os estudantes possuem um conhecimento parcial acerca do manejo dos casos de violência doméstica e lacunas em sua formação necessitam ser preenchidas, sendo recomendável a inclusão do tema no conteúdo programático do curso e possibilitar experiências práticas aos estudantes / The issue of domestic violence against women is a universal problem because of its impact on the economic, social, educational and health areas. Nursing has a significant role in the recognition and follow up of cases, but it is necessary that professionals are trained to do so. The objective of this study was to identify the perception and knowledge of students of a nursing technical course on domestic violence against women perpetrated by the intimate partner. It is a quantitative, descriptive, exploratory and cross-sectional study. A validated questionnaire was applied with questions about perception and knowledge about violence against women. The sample was attended by 84 students from the three modules of the course, aged 18 years or over, in the year 2017. The data were organized in spreadsheets, validated by double typing and later transported to the statistical package of the program Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 22.0. The study was approved by the research ethics committee. The results showed that students are comfortable with asking clients about alcohol or tobacco use, but they are bothered to deal with drug use, sex life and marital violence. They tend to infantilize the care of women in situations of violence. They disagreed that social factors are causes of aggression but agreed that abusive use of alcohol or drugs and psychological problems of the partner may be among the causes. They said that the perpetrators should be arrested, but there is a belief that domestic violence is an intimate and private forum issue. They have demonstrated good knowledge about the definition of various forms of violence, and recognition of signs and symptoms, however, low knowledge about the epidemiology of violence against women. They affirmed that it is the nursing professional\'s assignment to address domestic violence, but that it is not direct or insistent. They disagreed that the professional should ignore signs of violence, as well as that there is a need to schedule return at shorter intervals in cases of suspected domestic violence. Nearly half of the students are unaware of protocols for the care of women in situations of sexual violence, and most have stated that the doctor should not prescribe a sedative / antidepressant medication for the battered woman. They said that it is valid to evaluate with the client the risks to which they are exposed and to elaborate a security plan. They said that couple therapy and psychotherapy are recommended. The minority acknowledged the importance of case reporting but stressed the importance of providing telephone numbers of institutions hosting women and turning to the woman\'s station. Finally, the findings showed that students have a partial knowledge about the handling of domestic violence cases and gaps in their training need to be filled out, and it is recommended to include the subject in the program content of the course and to provide practical experiences for the students

Nutriční znalosti pacientů po bariatrické operaci / Nutritional knowledge of patients after bariatric surgery

The bariatric surgery is regarded as the most effective treatment method of dangerous forms of obesity. Since the bariatric surgery is closely related to nutrition, it is thus necessary to emphasize the importance of good nutritional knowledge of patients that have undergone this type of surgery. The aim of this thesis was to examine the nutritional knowledge of patients that are at least one year after the surgery, or reoperation. To get relevant data, patients were examined using an anonymous questionnaire. The survey indicates that the patients have insufficient knowledge regarding the recommended protein intake. Furthermore, the examination exhibited, surprisingly, that men have statistically worse knowledge than women do as well as that the majority of patients does not know what the dumping syndrome is. The survey confirmed that the patients operated more than two and a half years ago have worse nutritional knowledge than the ones operated within such a period of time. Moreover, the examination did not identify problems regarding the correct food preparation, post- operational diet, and inappropriate eatables. For this, we rely on the following question: What, why and to what extent an experienced physical education teacher should know about the content in order to teach their students? And what, why and to what extent students Cycle II (3rd and 4th grades) of elementary school should know about this content? We keep the term "grades" because the school itself, at the time that there was monitoring, the nomenclature used for classes and, therefore, we recognize and value their provisions and curricular structures. Linked to the apprehension of these objectives also aim to perform analysis on educational indicators of professional development in teaching, which, emphasizing the processes of teaching and learning at school, could tell us, from the participant's response, aspects of the professional development of physical education teacher in their work context. In light of qualitative research, we used the technique to collect the semi structured interview. And to best to approach the phenomenon investigated, in addition to interviews, we conducted systematic visits to meet the participant's work context. We found that teachers have a profession that is eminently collective, but that also requires personal commitment and dedication, which indicates the need for autonomy and professional responsibility. As demonstrated by the participating teacher, professional development in teaching is an inherent element of the qualified performance in Physical Education as much sway over what each teacher intends to teach classes throughout the school. Beyond this specific area, we see it necessary for the Physical Education teacher to develop different strategies, using diverse methodologies and examples, optimize time and expand the opportunities for learning environments related to students' everyday life in and out of school, mobilize knowledge to that every child, every learner to appropriate the culture of body movement in a critical, independent and conscious. Amid all this process, it is the school community as a whole promotes opportunities, facilities and adequate periods for the development of teaching process, learning and teacher professional development. So it's important to establish analytical criteria, parameters and indicators that provide information contextualized these procedural elements. / Ao longo deste diálogo buscamos descrever e analisar as manifestações de um professor de Educação Física experiente sobre a Base de Conhecimento docente e sobre o que, por que e em que grau de proficiência seus alunos das 3ª e 4ª séries do Ensino Fundamental, em uma Escola Estadual do interior paulista, devem saber sobre a Educação Física nas suas aulas. Para tanto, baseamo-nos na seguinte questão de pesquisa: O que, por que e em que medida um professor de Educação Física experiente deve saber sobre os conteúdos para poder ensinar aos seus alunos? E o que, por que e em que medida seus alunos do Ciclo II (3ª e 4ª séries) do Ensino Fundamental devem saber sobre tais conteúdos? Mantemos o termo "séries" porque a própria escola, na época em que houve o acompanhamento, utilizava a referida nomenclatura para as turmas e, portanto, reconhecemos e valorizamos suas disposições e estruturas curriculares. Associada à apreensão destes objetivos, também almejamos realizar análises sobre indicadores educacionais de desenvolvimento profissional na docência, os quais, enfatizando os processos de ensinar e aprender na escola, poderiam nos revelar, a partir de respostas do participante, aspectos sobre o desenvolvimento profissional do professor de Educação Física em seu contexto de trabalho. Sob a luz das pesquisas qualitativas, utilizamos como técnica de coleta a entrevista semiestruturada. E para melhor nos aproximarmos do fenômeno investigado, além das entrevistas, realizamos visitas sistemáticas para conhecer o contexto de trabalho do participante. Observamos que os professores exercem uma profissão que é eminentemente coletiva, mas que também exige compromissos e dedicações pessoais, o que indica a necessidade da autonomia e da responsabilidade profissional. Assim como demonstrado pelo professor participante, o desenvolvimento profissional na docência é um elemento inerente à atuação qualificada na Educação Física Escolar tanto quanto o domínio sobre aquilo que cada professor se propõe a ensinar ao longo das aulas na escola. Além deste domínio específico, visualizamos ser necessário que o professor de Educação Física desenvolva diferentes estratégias de ensino, utilize exemplos diversificados, otimize o tempo e amplie os espaços de aprendizagens para ambientes relacionados ao cotidiano dos alunos dentro e fora da escola, mobilize conhecimentos necessários para que cada criança, cada aluno consiga apropriar-se da cultura corporal de movimento de maneira crítica, autônoma e consciente. Em meio a todo esse processo, cabe à comunidade escolar como um todo propiciar espaços, meios e períodos adequados ao desenvolvimento dos processos de ensino, aprendizagem e desenvolvimento profissional docente. Por isso se torna importante estabelecer critérios de análise, parâmetros e indicadores que forneçam informações contextualizadas destes elementos processuais.

The subject of this diploma thesis is financial literacy in Czech Republic. The main interest is the government concept explaining National Strategy on financial education and Financial Education System for elementary schools and high schools. The thesis also deals with consumer protection as it is integral part of financial literacy. Activities of Supranational organizations like European Union and Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development are presented enhancing their impact on steps taken by Czech government. Eventually analysis of own measuring financial literacy is performed bringing evaluated and compared results. Based on those recommendation are proposed.

Vårt syfte med studien är att undersöka pedagogers förhållningssätt och metoder kring barn som uppvisar ADHD liknande beteende i förskolan. Barn får oftast sin diagnos i skolåldern och vill med hjälp av denna studie ta reda på pedagogers kunskaper kring dessa barn när de är i förskoleåldern. Vi har utgått ifrån Vygotskij och det sociokulturella perspektivet för att se pedagogernas och vårdnadshavares syn på inkludering. Studien är baserad på två olika metoder där den kvalitativa metoden bestod av intervjuer av förskollärare, barnskötare och rektorer i förskolan och den kvantitativa metoden bestod av en enkät där vårdnadshavare fick ge sitt perspektiv. I studien visar det sig att pedagogerna inte har utbildning riktad mot ADHD utan den kunskap de har är erfarenhetsbaserad. Ett perspektiv som även vårdnadshavare delade. Bristen på kunskap blir till konsekvenser för barnen, som leder till dålig självkänsla och sämre förutsättningar i det sociala samspelet och skolan. Forskningen belyser vikten av tidiga insatser och att alla som arbetar med barn bör känna till symtomen hos ADHD samt ha en kunskap kring vilka strategier och åtgärder som kan hjälpa barnet i förskolan och skolan.

The aim of this theoretical and empirical thesis is to analyse the term of self-education and related issue, which are further developed in theory and philosophy of education, psychology and sociology. In the first part the thesis concentrates on theoretical concepts of self-education and their development in selected historical periods. The thesis accentuates a contemporary understanding of self-education and its aspects influencing the concept and practice of self- education in current society. Through several case studies in the empirical part, the thesis attempts to demonstrate personal, educational and experiential diversity backgrounding the contemporary concept of self-education. In conclusion, some options as well as difficulties of an individual self-education in contemporary society will be reflected.
