Thesis Activity Conception in the Theoretically-focused Subjects at Music- specialized Schools is primarily an invitation to call for discussion about the teaching of music theory at secondary music-specialized schools. The first chapter presents a general educational national plan (RVP) for teaching music at music-specialized schools and compares it with general educational plans at lower levels of music education - elementary art schools and elementary schools. The second starting point of the work is the interpretation of own questionnaire survey, which deals with the evaluation of teaching music theory today and proposals for appropriate innovations. The core of the work is devoted to proposals for possible innovations in the teaching of music theory. The most important innovation is the involvement of music activities in the teaching of music theory, the work deals in detail with the integration of music theory subjects into a comprehensive complex and a unified thematic plan for music theory subjects is proposed. Other proposals for innovations are project teaching and teaching of musical forms through composition.
