Composting is biochemical process naturally converting organic substances. During composting proces we perceive compost as a stable product with basic attribute to recycle energy and returning it back to the soil. Within increased consumption of fuels, renewable energy sources and biomass, we can understand compost as a solid fuel with possible exploitable energetic potential. Worldwide proceeding experimentation examine quality of biofuels and describe them with respect to theirs utilization. From this point of view, this work is aimed to basic analysis of energetic utilization of compost, with subsequent evaluation of fundamental energetic qualities.
