A escrita é uma das evoluções mais significativas da humanidade desde a descoberta do fogo. Devido à importância indiscutível dela, principalmente no ambiente de aprendizagem, há muitas pesquisas delineadas para qualificá-la, mesmo com os avanços tecnológicos digitais que ampliaram o uso da linguagem, ainda encontramos muitos estudantes com dificuldades para escrever, expressar ou argumentar as suas ideias por meio do código escrito e respeitando a coerência. Sendo que essa dificuldade sofre um aumento significativo quando se trata da produção de um texto acadêmico científico no ensino superior, pois os acadêmicos encontram dificuldades para escrever a partir de critérios de análise textual, como por exemplo, o que poderá tornar um texto coerente ou não. Nesse sentido, as tecnologias digitais podem apoiar a qualificação desse processo. Diante da problemática apresentada, essa tese tem por objetivo compreender como uma ferramenta com base em mineração de texto pode apoiar os estudantes no processo de construção e avaliação da escrita acadêmica a partir de determinados critérios de análise textual. Para a organização dos procedimentos metodológicos foram escolhidas as abordagens qualitativas e quantitativas, assim como, o método de pesquisa quase-experimental e as técnicas de coleta utilizadas foram questionários e documentos. Para analisar os dados coletados foram aplicadas as técnicas de análise estatística descritiva e análise de conteúdo. O experimento se deu com 782 alunos, divididos em dois grupos para aplicação e comparação dos resultados por meio da avaliação às cegas de um grupo de professores selecionados. Nowadays, static analysis is a helpful option for developers to ensure all the important properties of a developed application. But these analyses must be also developed and it is inevitable that sometimes they must be debugged to find and solve problems inside of the analyses themself. The debugging of static analyses might be more complicated because some popular analysis frameworks do not provide sufficient support for debugging. One of the widely used analysis frameworks is WALA. In this thesis, we thoroughly explored all the main features of WALA and determined possible points for better debugging support. For each of these points, we designed and implemented supporting infrastructure that should accelerate the process of debugging by avoiding the tedious manual effort needed for inspection and evaluation of the internal state of WALA. One kind of these points is the analysis configuration where we created an inspection system for class hierarchy and call graph that should detect common misconfiguration problems. The next point is the debugging of the data flow transfer functions, for which we created a visualizer of the running analysis over the subject program. O sucesso alcançado pela indústria de Private Equity e Venture Capital (PE/VC) no fomento ao empreendedorismo e na dinamização do setor empresarial norte-americano encorajou diversos países a importar este modelo vencedor de intermediação financeira. Este trabalho busca analisar como as empresas de PE/VC realizam suas avaliações de potenciais investimentos e tomam suas decisões de investimento através da identificação junto à literatura das principais variáveis utilizadas e a verificação de como as mesmas se manifestam nas empresas pesquisadas. Na pesquisa sobre o perfil da indústria de PE/VC mineira podemos citar três fatores que nos permitem prever grande crescimento e desenvolvimento da mesma: i) existência de uma rede que contempla todos os ciclos do processo de investimento; ii) a grande presença de empresas atuando nos estágios iniciais do ciclo de investimento; e iii) boa margem de sucesso nos investimentos. Como principal conclusão da pesquisa do como as empresas pesquisadas avaliam possíveis investimentos, podemos citar o fato das empresas pesquisadas focarem muito mais os fatores intangíveis como a equipe, a estratégia e o mercado potencial do que os fatores tangíveis como os aspectos financeiros, tamanho de mercado já existente e planos de negócios. / The outstanding success achieved by Private Equity and Venture Capital (PE/VC) in fostering the U.S. enterprising sector has encouraged several countries to import this winner financial model. The objective of this work is to analyze how the PE/VC Companies make the analysis of the potential investment in PE/VC and take the investment decision through the identification in the literature of the most important variables and the verification of how it works in the analyzed organizations. In the study of the profile of the industry of PE/VC from Minas Gerais, Brazil, we can identify three factors that allows to foresee a great growth and development of this industry: i) existence of a net that contemplates all the cycles of the investment process; ii) the great presence of companies acting in the initial periods of training of the investment cycle; and iii) good percentage of success in the investments. As main conclusion of the study of the evaluation variables we can quote the fact of the searched organizations focus much more in the intangible factors as the team, strategy and potential market than in the tangible ones as the financial aspects, the size of the actual market and the business plans.

This thesis focuses on creating an application software for monitoring and analyzing changes in body surface temperature before and after exercise test by the means of contactless thermography. Initial, theoretical part of this thesis talks about principles and possible scenarios, in which one could employ infrared thermography followed by physiology of the exercise load and concludes with an observation of the changes in body surface temperature while focusing on the actions that take place during the exercise test. Practical part of the thesis comprises of the exercise test and building of the application software for the analysis of the acquired thermographic visual output. The application software offers 2 kinds of analyses: general and under-load, while it aims to provide evaluation in both cases based on user-selected areas of interest. Last chapter of this thesis includes final output with commentary and eventual usage of the under-load experiment and application software in practical use.

New solid phase microextraction (SPME) method was developed for brain tissue bioanalysis on a liquid chromatography mass spectrometry platform. To achieve set objectives, in vivo SPME desorption process was optimized for high throughput analysis through the development of a desorption device. Subsequently, new SPME coatings were developed for the extraction of polar neurotransmitters from biological matrices. In a targeted analysis, in vivo SPME was used to monitor of changes in the concentrations of endogenous compounds (multiple neurotransmitters) and exogenous drugs (carbamazepine and cimetidine) in the striatum of the rat brain extracellular fluid. For the first time, SPME was used for quantitative analysis of neurotransmitters and also study spacial distribution of other drugs in different regions of the brain extracellular fluid. A new approach was developed for improved metabolites coverage in a global non-targeted metabolomics studies. The proposed in vivo method showed how complementary results can be obtained through the combination of microdialysis and SPME for simultaneous sampling of the brain extracellular fluid. Finally, in a clinical application, SPME was used to monitor changes in the concentration of multiple neurotransmitters during deep brain stimulation of the pre-frontal cortex of the brain.

Na presente dissertação nosso objetivo foi sistematizar uma leitura crítica da produção intelectual deste grupo no decorrer da década de 1970 e na primeira metade dos anos 1980, a partir de dois eixos que consideramos fundamentais: 1- a caracterização do debate cebrapiano em torno do modelo de desenvolvimento brasileiro; 2- a concepção de democracia que norteou o pensamento daqueles intelectuais. A partir desses eixos buscamos apreender e sistematizar o fio condutor da análise cebrapiana, que em nosso entendimento caminhou para a justificação teórica e política de um projeto socialdemocrata para o Brasil / Abstract: Created in 1969, the Brazilian Center for Analysis and Planning (CEBRAP) assembled intellectuals with the objective of organizing a new interpretation of the Brazilian capitalist development. In the present work our goal is to systematize a critical reading of such intellectual production during the 70s and first half of the 80s. We will focus on two main themes: 1 - the characterization of the debate inside Cebrap about the Brazilian development model; 2 - the conception of democracy which guided this debate.
