Fotodegradace hydrokortizonu v homogenní a heterogenní fotokatalytické reakci / Photodegradation of hydrocortisone in homogeneous and heterogeneous photocatalytic reaction

DOUBKOVÁ, Lucie January 2015 (has links)
The aim of this thesis was to measure the kinetics of photochemical degradation of hydrocortisone in heterogeneous photocatalytic reaction on immobilized TiO2 and in homogeneous photocatalytic reaction with Fe(III) using UV-VIS and HPLC for measuring the degradation kinetics.

Fotokatalytická inaktivace kvasinek / Photocatalytic inactivation of yeasts

Šupinová, Lenka January 2008 (has links)
This diploma thesis is focused on the study of the effect of ultraviolet radiation and titanium dioxide on the yeast Candida vini. Photocatalytic inactivation of this yeast was performed on various types of titanium dioxide films, which were immobilized on soda lime glasses. Acridine orange was used as a dye to distinguish live and dead yeast cells after certain irradiation time. Live and dead cells emit different light in colour after staining in acridine orange. Candida vini photocatalytic inactivation depends on the amount of titanium dioxide immobilized on glass as well as on the structure of its surface if the lamp intensity remains the same. Kinetics of this photocatalytic process was studied, too.

Fotokatalytická aktivita tištěných hybridních vrstev oxidu titaničitého / Photocatalytic activity of printed hybrid layers of titanium dioxide

Sýkorová, Kateřina January 2018 (has links)
The main aim of this thesis was to optimalise composition of the titanium dioxide with a silica binder deposited on a PET foil. Emphasis was put on achieving maximum possible adhesion and hardness of the layer and the effect on photocatalytic activity. For the evaluation of photocatalytic activity comparative experiments with prepared layers were performed. Benzoic acid, dimethyl sulfoxide and azo dye Acid Orange 7 were used as model pollutants. Photocatalytic activity was investigated using UV-VIS spectrophotometry, formal rate constants and degree of conversion were also determined. The study results can be used for removing water pollutants from the water solution.

Experimentální ověření fotokatalytického působení TiO2 v betonech / Experimental verification of photocatalytic activity of TiO2 in concrete

Steinbergerová, Ivana January 2013 (has links)
This thesis is focused on gathering all available information on the application forms of photocatalytic TiO2 in concretes, especially in the surface layers of precast and monolithic structures. The paper describes in detail the properties of titanium dioxide alone, his special abilities, leading to a substantial improvement of the environment, through photocatalysis. Further verification methods are described photocatalytic activity of titanium dioxide and titanium dioxide application in real projects. The practical part is tested recipes of secondary coatings from the production of company Precheza a.s. Přerov.

Fotokatalytická aktivita hybridních vrstev oxidu titaničitého a křemičitého / Photocatalytic properties of hybrid titania-silica layers

Zbořilová, Zdeňka January 2013 (has links)
This diploma thesis is focused on the preparation of hybrid titania-silica layers. Titanium tetraisopropoxide and tetraethyl orthosilicate with Levasil were used as the precursors for TiO2 and SiO2 synthesis, respectively. The layers were deposited on substrates by material printing. Furthermore, this work is focused on study of the photocatalytic activity of prepared titania/silica hybrid layers. Photocatalytic activity of prepared layers was studied by measuring the oxidation of 2,6-dichlorindofenolu, oxidative degradation of stearic acid and oxidation of terephthalic acid. The influence of hybrid layers number on the photocatalytic activity was investigated.

Příprava a aplikace fotokatalyticky aktivního oxidu titaničitého / Synthesis and photocatalytic applications of titanium dioxide

Solný, Tomáš January 2016 (has links)
V práci je zkoumán vliv podmínek na průběh hydrolýzy alkoxidů titanu a vlastností připravovaných nanočástic oxidu titaničitého s důrazem na teplotu a množství vody přítomné v systému. Připravované hydrolyzáty alkoxidů titanu a nanočástice oxidu titaničitého připravené z hydrolyzátů jsou studovány metodami XRD, DTA – TGA, SEM – EDS, BET a PCCS. Fotokatalytická aktivita vybraných připravených materiálů byla studována pomocí dekompozice methylenové modři v roztoku a par isopropanolu a ethanolu rozkládaných pomocí Mn-Zn feritu v experimentálním chemickém reaktoru s magnetickým polem stabilizovaným ložem nosiče katalyzátoru.

Kinetika fotokatalytické a fotoelektrokatalytické degradace modelových polutantů bazénových vod / Kinetics of photocatalytic and electrophotocatalytic degradation of swimming pool water model pollutants

Morávková, Eva January 2021 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with the coating and printing of thin layers based on nanoparticles of titanium dioxide and organosilica binder on various substrates. The influence of the ratio of the both components on the activity of the prepared immobilized layers was studied. Five compositions with different ratios of TiO2 and binder were prepared. The work focuses mainly on the study of photocatalytic and photoelectrocatalytic properties of prepared layers. It was also important to characterize the mechanical properties of the layer such as hardness or adhesion. Both photocatalytic and photoelectrocatalytic activity were determined by monitoring the degradation of the model pollutants in aqueous solutions. The dye Acid Orange 7 and UV filter 2-hydroxy-4-methoxybenzophenone were used in conjunction with UV/VIS spectroscopy or high performance liquid chromatography techniques. Both photocatalytic and photoelectrocatalytic activity were expressed using kinetic characteristics.
