Rozvod v českém a francouzském právu / Divorce in Czech and French law

Mrázek, Miroslav January 2017 (has links)
This doctoral thesis deals with one of the key institutions of Czech and French family law, divorce. Divorce is not merely a concept from some legal textbook. The specific fate of spouses, and even entire families, are tied up with it. This comparative study of Czech and French divorce law is divided into five main chapters and a statistical excursus. This thesis first discusses the historical and legal developments for ending a marriage, i.e. divorce, in both countries. This is followed by an analysis of the current substantive and procedural aspects of divorce in the Czech Republic. The focus of the work is an analysis of both procedural and substantive reform of divorce law in France and its fundamental differences from Czech divorce. Subsequently, it examines the consequences of divorce, possible future Czech legislation dealing with divorce and the innovations included in the French divorce law. The work ends with a presentation of relevant statistical data. The theoretical analysis of the institute of divorce is accompanied by practical examples of legal cases, current case law, conceptual solutions from specialists in the field of family law, as well as assessments from the author of this thesis.

Francouzské přejímky v jazyce současných českých médiích - lexikologická a sémantická analýza / French Loanwords in Today's Czech Media - Lexicological and Semantic Analysis

Veselá, Veronika January 2022 (has links)
This master's thesis deals with problematics of loanwords from French language in today's Czech media and it is divided in two parts: theoretical and practical part. First part, dedicated to theoretical explanation of the problematics on one hand, describes history of the development of the Czech language with regards to borrowing of foreign lexemes, especially focusing on French loanwords. On the other hand, it defines essential terms and provides linguistic basis for research that follows. Practical part first introduces detailed results of the research, which was lexical and semantic analysis of loanwords excerpted from three of this year's issues of Gurmet, a gastronomical magazine. Concerning methodology, a variety of lexicological and semantical publications or web tools were used to compose this thesis. Analysis attests that more than a half of given loanwords come from 19th century. Also, in the text material, there were found 17 borrowed lexical units with significant foreign traits and those were later lexicographically elaborated into a dictionary of neologisms. Furthermore, research and analysis that followed imply that from all of 207 excerpted lemmas only a small number of the examined Gallicisms adapted semantically into the system of Czech language, and on the opposite, all lexemes...

Formování francouzského politického systému skrze přímou volbu prezidenta republiky / Formation du syst?me politique français par le biais de l´élection du Président de la République au suffrage universel direct

Vojnár, Štěpán January 2006 (has links)

The author uses the method of critical incidents by conducting interviews. The author tests four hypotheses: verifies if there are cultural differences between the Czechs and the French and if these differences manifest during the contact in the workplace and at school and whether the Czech and French have different perception of authority in the workplace and at school. In the end, the work proposes recommendations for Czechs to facilitate cooperation with the French at school and at work.

Strategie francouzských výrobců automobilů na mezinárodních trzích / Strategies of French Car Manufacturers on International Markets

Snížek, Martin January 2012 (has links)
This diploma thesis aims at comparing strategies of French car manufacturers Renault and PSA Peugeot Citroën on international markets. The first chapter is focused on unveiling the particularities of different markets with paying special attention to distinguishing traditional automotive centres from emerging economies. The second part of the thesis presents Renault and its activities on international markets. Renault's activities are more profoundly studied through analysis of production (geographic distribution and its evolution, methods of entering new markets) and sales. The same structure is applied to the third chapter concerning PSA Peugeot Citroën. The author comes to a conclusion that even though France and Europe remain the main markets for both car makers their importance declines to the benefit of developing countries. Moreover, it was found out that both car manufacturers are entering new markets via cooperation with other car makers.
