In the contemporary world, when the whole world is connected, the fact saying that anything what happens on the other side of the world does not have influence to our lives is not truthful anymore. We live in an era of globalization. Therefore, it is important to focus on the global issues already at school and also on the way in which they concern us. However, it should be borne in the mind that, the most important thing is the way, how teachers explain it to their students. This thesis defines and analyzes the existing rules of procedure and legislation to protect competition in the principle of de lege lata in the Czech Republic with regard to the operation of national champions and marginally in terms of policy, national champions in Europe, analyze the status of the principle of national champions and classified in the context of existing conditions with global effects in the field, arguments concerning the existence and status of national champions in the competition (de lege lata versus de lege ferenda) in terms of various aspects of their responsibilities. With regard to the objective of work was dealing with the issue of regulation of irregular acquisition of electric power in the context of the possible advantage of champion and the emergence of any injury to other competitors or consumers as a result of this advantage. The aim of this work is to describe the regulation of de lege lata in the Czech Republic on irregular acquisition of electric power and showing a solution and to answer the question of whether the change de lege ferenda may remove any harm other competitors or consumers.

The goal of the master thesis titled "Trade openness and income inequality in Eastern Europe" is to analyze the effects on income inequality changes in the population in the period of transformation from centrally planned economies to market economies in the last decade of the twentieth century. The first part of the thesis focuses on the development before the individual countries started to join the European Union. The subsequent liberalization in the early 21st century is evaluated in the second part of the thesis. The multiple regression analysis is used to estimate the effects. The data were provided by the World Bank for the period of from 1989 to 2014. The objective of the thesis is to enlighten the factors which are influencing the changes in income inequality.

Transnational organizations (TNCs) can be considered as an economic drivers which are able to adapt to changing economic climate. The ability of being present in more than one country give them the opportunity to raise their competitiveness through choosing the countries according to its preferences. Recently the relation between nation states and the TNCs has been changed slowly. The number of TNCs is growing and they are able to play an active role in the wolrd economy. Their activities produce possitive and negative externalities thus it is possible to find their followers and opponents at the same time. The aim of this thesis is to analyze whether the economic power of the TNCs is growing significantly or not.

The thesis is concerned with a question, what plays the key role in decision making process about restructuring of production capacities of automotive companies within global process. All of this is running in the background of optimization factors influencing their cost items value. Volkswagen AG, more precisely SKODA AUTO was chosen for behavior analysis introduced as a case study. The goal is to suggest some recommendations for SKODA AUTO to help with achieving sales of 1,5 million cars in 2018 based on global pressures analysis affecting automotive industry and future cost development study in this field. The main benefit of the thesis is the complex cost items analysis resulting in application of the conclusions into SKODA AUTO case in a form of recommendations based on cost reduction.

Master thesis is focused on examining the influence of cultural factors on the choice of international marketing communication strategy, with emphasis on communication in the online environment. The theoretical section is devoted to the description of possible strategies of marketing communication linked to the cultural context and current world trends. Furthermore, with the help of a secondary analysis of previous studies the question of influence of cultural factors in the online environment is explored, namely its influence on the design and content of websites. The practical part is based on the descriptive analysis of current trends in the selection of internet communication strategies by major international companies in the selected industries. The work is enhanced by the results of in-depth interviews with experts in the field of international and digital marketing.

Today's environment of information society brings many changes. The main objective was to identify those changes which the development of the Internet affect business opportunities. A fundamental change is globalization and the related impact on marketing, strategic planning, record-keeping and human resource management. The thesis also focuses on the importance of education, experience and skills and their relationship to the business, which raises the question whether the current period has contributed to more successful business plans. Different levels of knowledge and experience, along with information literacy of individuals affect the use of modern information and communication technologies for formulating business plans. On real cases, the author applies theoretical knowledge and explains the context, because it shows that there is no demonstrable importance of Internet development to the success of business plans.
