Fibonacciho haldy - jejich varianty a alternativní datové struktury / Fibonacci heaps - their variations and alternative data structures

Melka, Jakub January 2012 (has links)
In this paper we explore Fibonacci heaps and their variants. The alternative versions of the Fibonacci heap, the thin and thick heaps, were introduced by H. Kaplan and R. E. Tarjan in 2008. We compare these heaps from both experimental and theoretical point of view and we also include some classic types of heaps, namely regular and pairing heap. In our experiments we will be most interested in the total time required to run an algorithm that works with heap. The results show that thin and thick heaps are usually faster than the Fibonacci heap and slower than the regular heap. In conclusion, we summarize the knowledge gained from experiments.

Krajinou městem / Through the landscape, through the city

Kvapilová, Tereza January 2016 (has links)
In his work, taking into account each person's right to dissent and freedom of choice. Individual interventions proposed are the final premise or the best possible version of the story. I do not create a coherent architectural and urban design, but a comprehensive architectural and urban manual. Individual interventions together may or may not cooperate. The investor may be a city, a private company, enterprise, institution. They can happen suddenly or slowly and gradually over several decades. The main condition for the use of the manual is common sense. Manual force does not enforce his right. The transformation of the building must be carried out within the framework of voluntary and assessed as a good solution. The manual looks at the buildings individually, however, he must continue the one who uses it The manual takes into account the economy, the laws of physics and the freedom of human thought. It neglects the current system of cultural heritage and the current building legislation. The manual offers, but not required. Manual man needs more than one needs manual.

Implementation of operations in double-ended heaps / Implementation of operations in double-ended heaps

Bardiovský, Vojtech January 2012 (has links)
There are several approaches for creating double-ended heaps from the single-ended heaps. We build on one of them, the leaf correspondence heap, to create a generic double ended heap scheme called L-correspondence heap. This will broaden the class of eligible base single-ended heaps (e.g. by Fibonacci heap, Rank-pairing heap) and make the operations Decrease and Increase possible. We show this approach on specific examples for three different single-ended base heaps and give time complexity bounds for all operations. Another result is that for these three examples, the expected amortized time for Decrease and Increase operations in the L-correspondence heap is bounded by a constant.

Využití umělého spékaného kameniva vyráběného z pevných energetických odpadů do betonu / THE USE OF SINTERED ARTIFICIAL AGGREGATES PRODUCED FROM SOLID ENERGETIC WASTE FOR CONCRETE.

Batelka, Michal Unknown Date (has links)
This work deals with issues aimed at the possibility of treating the material which has not been used yet – coal tailings. The work includes among others the production, its optimalization and utilization of a new type of lightweight artificial aggregate in the process of production of concrete. The possibility of manufactured the artificial aggregate is dealt with the principle of self-burning of the raw material's batch at the agglomerative grate. The optimalization of the burning process was performed both with the homogenous and the layered batch. Further part of the work focuses on the fabrication of diverse types of concrete and determination of their parametres. This section is significantly extended with the comparison of basic physical and specific properities of the new type of concrete with those of the commonly produced types. The last part of presented work deals with the ecological - economic situation of these issues. The proposed solution points to the possibility of utilization of the coal tailings which are put to the tailings heaps. It was managed to optimize the burning process and to find the most convenient system for storing the raw material's batch at the agglomerative grate. Next, it was proved that the types of concrete produced with a new sort of aggregate are also suitable for fabricating the construction concrete with the strength above the border of 50 MPa, which are applicable even in harder conditions. These sorts of concrete also have a lower volume weight and very good bending properties. The major finding, which underlines the contribution of this work, is that the up to now unused material is suitable for fabrication of relatively high-quality and thermally stable aggregate of strength on the border of 5 MPa, which can be use for fabricating concrete with very good results even in this field. Another great contribution of this work can surely be the fact, that a preliminary economic balance of the manufacturing pr

Ostravskou krajinou... / Across the landscape of Ostrava...

Kubinová, Michaela January 2014 (has links)
A human enters with his activities to the industrial landscape in the same natural way as the nature entered before, and developed them.
