Půdní organická hmota ve smrkových a bukových porostechBureš, Karel January 2014 (has links)
The forest floor is one of the components of the forest ecosystem, which significantly affects the composition of the soil and thus significantly affects the productivity and stability of forest habitat. The quality and quantity of humus and humus substance (HS), viz. humic acids (HA) and fulvic acids (FA), is an important soil characteristic. The diploma thesis evaluates the quality and quantity of soil organic matter (SOM) /stock of forest floor; the content and supply of the total carbon and nitrogen, C/N ratio; the content and supply of the total carbon in humus substance (HS), humic acids (HA) and fulvic acids (FA); Q4/6 ratio and the degree of humification/ in spruce stand at an age of 35 years in second generation and beech stand at an age of 45 years in first generation after spruce stand on the field research station Rájec-Němčice of the Drahanská vrchovina Upland (49°26''31''N and 16°41'30''E) in the Czech Republic on the modal oligotrophic Cambisol of a fir-beech forest vegetation zone at an a altitude of 600--660 m at sites of autochthonous mixed forests. Results obtained showed that the higher accumulation of forest floor was determined under the spruce stand than under beech stand. The HA/FA ratio is higher in the spruce stand as against the beech stand where young fulvic acids. The ratio Q4/6 is more favourable in the F layer under spruce stand, in the layer H is more favourable in beech stand and in the Ah horizon is the ratio Q4/6 similar. Degree of humification SH I and II is similar in both stands, appears to be more favourable in the stand of beech. Results obtained prove the suitability of beech distribution to the present sites of extensive spruce monocultures of Central and Eastern Europe in order to return to original mixed stands.

Linhart, T: The borderline and the relationship to its surroundings. [Diploma thesis] Praha 2015 Charles University, Faculty of Education, Department of Art Education, 71 p. (Attachments on CD: 2 illustration attachments). The diploma thesis features a theoretical study on the background of the author's own artwork. Author seeks to define the boundary of fine arts and art education to establish a foundation to his own pedagogic determination. He shows what theoretical frameworks take part on shaping his own professional direction. The didactic part looks at select situations from the author's teaching practice that already took place and reflects them in context of author's other pedagogic experience. The accomplishment and utility of the work lie in a description and interpretation of select situations from practice of a fledgling teacher and an educational complex, field tested, intended for gymnasium students.

Vertikály krajiny / Vertical motives of landscapeHORYNOVÁ, Alžběta January 2010 (has links)
This final work is practically oriented. It consists of painting series of eight landscapes with vertical themes. These are large format oil paintings. In the theoretical part I deal with the current perception of the relationship between man and land, which is based on the current concepts of landscape-painting. The examples of contemporary Czech landscape show some topics that have appeared in the last forty years. For example it is a landscape as a specific interface and abstract paintings, a landscape inside us, a landscape of our civilization. The thesis also discusses vertical motif, which marks the space between the two main elements of the landscape ? the sky and land, which is a fundamental area of human existence.

Sedimenty šumavských jezer a jejich využití v paleoenvironmentálním výzkumu / Sediments of Bohemian Forest lakes and their use in paleoenvironmental researchVondrák, Daniel January 2019 (has links)
Sediments of Bohemian Forest lakes are important natural archives. Their sedimentary record covers postglacial history of the lakes as well as history of natural processes in a wider region. It also documents local settlements and changes in landscape management. The lake sediments have attracted the interest of the scientific community since the end of the 19th century. Despite of the fact that modern paleolimnological and paleoecological investigations were already performed in the second half of the 20th century in the Bohemian Forest Mts., the great potential of the lake sediments was not fully utilized in scientific research so far. The ultimate objective of this thesis is to deepen knowledge of these natural archives and support their utilization in future studies. Several specific objectives have been set to achieve the ultimate objective: i) to compare age of the Bohemian Forest lake sediments with the recent knowledge of local deglaciation at the end of the last ice age, ii) to integrate chronostratigraphic marker horizons as one of the tools of Late Glacial sediment dating, iii) to assess the role of bioerosion in chitinous subfossil freshwater invertebrate remains on the record representativeness, and iv) to prove the presumed dystrophic nature of the lakes during the Holocene using...

The diploma work "The differences between perception of metonymy in photography and in movies from the perspective of reception aesthetics" deals with different uses of the figure of speech - metonymy - in visual communication. The metonymy is primarily used as an ornamental device of language expression. It is also distinguishable in purely visual information that is provided in photography and certain film shots. In visual communication, metonymy is also used for embellishing of the visual content or, at least, its correction. This work is focused especially on these examples of the use of metonymy that employ the method of reception aesthetics, which was up to now applied only to literary works. The subjects of interest of the reception aesthetics are so- called places of indeterminacy and the horizon of expectation which is also the focus of this work in addition to its main focus on metonymic expression in movies and photography. The first part of this work deals with the theory of the reception aesthetics and its main exponents. The second part deals with the relationship between the recipients and the media, specifically photography and movie. The last part of this work deals with the theory of rhetorical figures, particularly metonymy and its special form - synecdoche, and it's application...
