Umělecké tendence v krajině

Syrová, Hana January 2015 (has links)
The thesis deals with artistic tendencies in the landscape from the sixties to the present. The main attention is focused on historical basics of land art, land art formation in Czech republic and the difference between the American and the European approach in creation. An important issue is finding connections between land art and landscape architecture. The paper describes selected foreign and domestic authors who deal with creation of new public spaces, lying on the border between land art, sculpture and landscape architecture. The literature review also raises the question of applied land art, which uses forms of land art (the same means of expressions and principles) to achieve another objective (eg. solving problems and needs). This direction drifts the form of land art into the interdisciplinary area where the land meets the sociology, landscape architecture, history and other fields that have an impact on shaping of the landscape. Hence projects are created allowing the strengthening of the historical, economic, social and landscape features. It thus creates an opportunity where people can experience the landscape and feel sense of belonging. The practical part outlines the problems of landscape in the project area - Anenská Studánka, arising from landscape analysis.Solution to cultural problems is suggested through applied land art that helps us to talk to people about the problems of the landscape. As a form of applied art land a public exhibition of art in the landscape was chosen, which enables us to attract people to the landscape, to identify problems and landscape values, raise awareness about the history of the site and allow a common experience in the landscape. Applied land art was tested in project Hřebečsko - a region that (DID NOT) disappear(ed), which aimed to raise awareness of local people about the history and identity of the place they live in, and gradually restore the lost relationship between people and the landscape. The aim was to address mainly local people and create a space for meeting, sharing and forming new relationships through the shared experience. The benefit of this thesis is the realization of the project as the main organizer. The thesis thus brings practical experience and knowledge of organizing events (own know - how). The work can serve as a guide for organizing similar projects, which are transferable to other locations.

GEYEROVÁ, Veronika January 2017 (has links)
This diploma thesis focuses on Virginia Woolf's conception of time in relation to the narrative techniques the author uses in her novels. The aim of this diploma thesis is to analyse the conception of time characteristic of Woolf's prose but also to point out how closely related this conception of time is to the narrative techniques used by the author. To capture the development of Woolf's conception of time and narrative methods, the novels are analysed chronologically according to their dates of publication. Significant part of this thesis is also devoted to the philosophical, scientific and historical context in which the novels were written because the author's treatment of time and narrative techniques are directly inspired by philosophical and-scientific theories and socio-historical changes at the turn of the 20th century.

Reprezentace osobnosti v prostředí hry LOTR Online prostřednictvím jazykových a mimojazykových prostředků / Representation of Personality in the Online PC Game Lord of the Rings Online by linguistic and extraliguistic means

DOUCHOVÁ, Marcela January 2017 (has links)
My Bachelor's thesis aimed at a standard lexical analysis carried out by the means of Del Hymes model. The MMORPG platform of the game Lord of the Rings Online served as a linguistic data collection point. Therefore, the analysis was one of mediated communication. The presented Master's thesis directly resumes the previous one. Mediated communication is even three years later still a widely discussed topic. Its understanding is deepening and its perception is continuously being refined. Nowadays, an analytical description of a linguistic phenomenon cannot be sufficient for an up-to-date thesis. Owing to recent research and new models of enquiry a deeper insight into the text is possible as well as message and communication analysis at a strictly quantitative level. Thanks to the work of people such as Joseph B. Walther, Daantje Derks or Victor Savicky one can immerse in a research reaching far beyond the linguistic element of the communication, and therefore start to examine the alluring paralingual depths inside the communication mediated via computers. Such a depth approach opens up a lot of questions. What exactly is hidden in the text? What information can be acquired through the text which is not communicated in primary code? This thesis formulates several research questions which crystalised out of my long-lasting experience with the game and the MESSAGE produced there. These questions are supplied with lingustic evidence available to the author. The presented thesis does not aim only at providing a handbook for using a specific type of communication. The aim comprises of a depth insight into the message and of finding proofs the message exhibits such traits which reveal its author. This thesis strives to prove that the product of mediated communication is capable of completing the notion of the communicating person at least as efficiently, though by different means, as the paraverbal means in face-to-face communication.

Srovnání změn v balučské kultuře v Turkmenistánu a na území historického Balúčistánu v závislosti na míře státních zásahů / The Impact of State on The Transformation of Balochi Culture in the Turkmenistan and the Historical Balochistan

Kokaislová, Pavla January 2014 (has links)
The aims of the study are to explore and compare the Balochs' way of life as an ethnic minority in Turkmenistan and north-eastern Iran and as an indigenous population in Afghanistan, Iran and Pakistan since the early 20th century and to study cultural change in the Balochs in the context of state intervention. The ethnogensis of the Balochs as a nomadic Indo-Iranian ethnic group without their own state was shaped by many external and internal influences. The most fundamental are changes in the political organization of states which the Balochs experienced throughout history. Due to poor living conditions, disruption of their original way of life and the need to ensure land and pasture for cattle, some Balochs living in historic Sistan along what is now the Turkmen-Iranian border migrated to Turkmenistan and to north-eastern Iran in the early 20th century. This thesis compares the Balochs' current way of life and with that after their arrival in new territory and examines the cultural transformation of these two groups in the context of state intervention.
