Metody interkulturního tréninku / Intercultural Training Methods

Matysová, Kamila January 2010 (has links)
Goal. The goal of the following study is it to propose educational measures in readiness for the methods of intercultural training at the Faculty of International Relations of the University of Economics Prague based on revealed cultural attitudes of the students studying International Trade to chosen ethnic, national, racial and religious groups (also called categories). In particular, the goal is it to detect explicit and implicit attitudes and related prejudice, stereotypes and experienced emotions of the students studying International Trade (IT) at the University of Economics Prague to/against 17 (respectively 20) chosen categories; to evaluate its magnitude for business practice and economy; and to propose appropriate measures for intercultural training. Sample and conditions. 167 students of International Trade from The University of Economics Prague took part in the first study. For measuring magnitude of the determinants of explicit attitudes 166 members of common population were questioned. Another 293 students were questioned in the first study and altogether 460 students took part in the second study. There were used the Bogardus social distance scale as a measuring psychological technique for explicit attitudes and prejudice, the syllogisms aptitude tests as a measuring tool for implicit attitudes and prejudice and the open questionnaire for stereotypes. Hypotheses. The following hypothesis was settled in the first study: Attitudes of the IT students have specific features, on the one hand, they differ from the attitudes and prejudice of common population and on the other hand, they have relation to the status of the perceived national, ethnic, racial and religious groups. There were tested 24 zero, working hypotheses. The first 17 working hypotheses are related to the relationship between the memberships in the two observed populations and the expressed explicit attitudes and prejudice. The next 6 hypotheses are connected to the attitudes of the students to occidental nationalities, to the Ukrainians, Russians, the Mongols and Moldovans, to the Slovaks and Czechs, Arabians and Muslims. The last working hypothesis is related to the relationship between explicit and implicit attitudes to and prejudice against Roma minority and Muslims. The following hypothesis was settled in the second study: Stereotypes of the observed population refer to the real existing intercultural differences, experienced emotions and projected cultural complexes. There was tested a working hypothesis related to the dependence between prejudice and stereotypes. Statistical analysis. The data were analyzed by the chi-square test and the strength of the relationship was measured by Cramér V. Furthermore agglomerative clustering by nearest neighbor method was applied and the results were presented as a horizontal dendrogram. Results. The results of the first study are well fitting the settled hypothesis. International Trade Students have relatively less prejudice comparing to the common population, it is influenced by their age as well as by their academic degree. There were identified several clusters of categories, that show similar attitudes. The students have positive, but not identical attitudes to all occidental categories, the same attitudes to the Ukrainians and Russians, Arabians and Muslims. The most favored national group are the Slovaks and the most prejudiced ethnic group is the Roma minority. There is dependence between explicit and implicit attitudes. The results of the second study are well fitting the settled hypothesis. Stereotypes of the observed population refer to the real existing intercultural differences as well as to experienced emotions and projected cultural complexes. The dependence between explicit stereotypes and explicit prejudice is caused by positively connoted attributes. Proposed educational measures for intercultural training are discussed in the study illustrated with examples of optional course 2OP321 Effective communication in English. Limits. Bogardus social distance scale is mostly focused on the behavioral component of the explicit attitudes, which does not necessarily mean an equivalent behavioral action.

Vývoj rozdílů mezi implicitní a nominální sazbou daně korporací v ČR / Development of the differences between the implicit and the nominal corporate tax rate in the Czech Republic

Barešová, Eliška January 2013 (has links)
The thesis entitled Development of the differences between the implicit and the nominal corporate tax rate in the Czech Republic deals with the amount of the implicit and nominal corporate tax rate, particularly the issue of the difference between the amounts of these rates. Examination of the rates follows the description of the characteristics of corporate income tax, the analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of this tax and its share of the total taxation . Furthermore, the thesis analyzed the method of calculating the effective tax rates and implicit tax rates on capital and corporate income. For comparison the thesis includes the analysis of the evolution of nominal and implicit tax rates on corporate income in the European Union and in the Czech Republic . For the final analysis, it is essential that the thesis presented as individual changes in the law on income tax since its introduction into the Czech legal system since 1993 to the present. Only with knowledge of legislative changes, it is possible to determine the relationship between nominal and implicit tax rate on corporate income, which deals with the thesis in the final analysis.

Vývoj rozdílů mezi implicitní a nominální sazbou daní korporací v ČR / The trends in the statutory and implicit tax rates of corporations in the Czech Republic

Papežová, Marcela January 2012 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with the trends in the statutory and implicit tax rates of corporations in the Czech Republic. The main goal of this study is determine the causes of differences between implicit and nominal tax rates of corporations in the Czech Republic from 1993 till present. The first descriptive part is devoted to the development of corporate income tax. Furthermore, the study focuses on the classification of the tax burden through the effective corporate tax burden. Another part is devoted to the trends and comparison of implicit and statutory tax rates in the Czech Republic and the European Union and the analysis of the main legislative changes since 1993. The final chapter deals with the comparison of 1996, when the difference between implicit and statutory tax rate was the most significant, with the current year 2012. The aim of the diploma thesis is to find out abnormalities that cause distortion between the rates.

Momenty setkání jako součást procesu změny z pohledu současné psychoanalýzy (intimita, opravdovost a vztah) / Moments of meeting as a part of process of change from contemporary psychoanalysis perspective (intimacy, autenticity and relationship)

Smejkalová, Adéla January 2021 (has links)
The thesis is focused on specific experiental phenomena that correspond to the Daniel Stern concept of the moment of meeting. The literature review section summarizes the existing psychoanalytic findings of the formation of the relationship between therapist and client, which were brought to the current psychoanalysis mainly by intersubjective or relational psychoanalysis. Attention is paid to aspects that are often overlooked or perceived as counterproductive in traditional psychoanalysis, although current studies show their importance in the process of therapeutic change - topics of mutuality, the role of human encounters, changes in the implicit structure of mental landscape, etc. The research section summarizes the results of a study conducted on a group of psychoanalytically oriented therapists, summarizing their phenomenological view of moments of meeting, and therefore of psychological change in the process of psychotherapy. Critical thoughts as well as suggestions for further research are discussed. Keywords Intersubjectivity, relational psychoanalysis, moment of meeting, psychic change, memory, implicit relational knowing

Infinitesimální kalkulus funkcí více proměnných / Differential Calculus of Functions of Several Variables

Ráž, Adam January 2016 (has links)
The thesis follows on Petr Vopìnka's alternative theory of sets and semisets by extending notions of in nite closeness and monad for real spaces of several variables. It speci es and explains on examples the basic terminology of this theory, namely notions of sets, semisets and domains. It brings up two worlds | an ancient and a classical one | by which it shows a dual way of looking at real functions of several variables. That is used for examining local properties like continuity, limit or derivative of a function at a point. The peak of the thesis is an alternative formulation of the implicit function theorem and the inverse function theorem. The thesis also contains translation rules, which allow us to reformulate all these results from an alternative into a traditional formulation used in mathematical analysis.

Pragmalingvistické a stylistické aspekty prostředků vyjadřujících futuritu v odborném ekonomickém textu a jejich lingvodidaktické důsledky / Pragmatic and stylistic aspects of expressions of futurality in professional economic text and their didactic consequences

Mikuláš, Martin January 2015 (has links)
The dissertation surveys the use of expressions of futurality in professional economic texts (the linguistic part). In addition, it investigates didactic aspects of futurality in the process of English as a second language acquisition, focusing on undergraduates in the study programme B 6208 - Economy and Management (the didactic part). The topic was chosen on the basis of the author's empirical experience and the results of pre-tests in the target group. The research is based on a corpus-based linguistic study. Seven representative monographs written by native speakers were selected as a source of relevant information about the use of futural constructions in a written economic text. All the sources were explored by means of corpus query software and instances of selected futural constructions (will, shall, be going to, be about to, be on the point of, be (due) to and the present tense) were excerpted. Functions of the futural constructions were elaborted on the basis of the numerous excerpts and confronted with English for specific (economic) purpose textbooks that are used widely at Czech economic universities. To prove or disaprove their mutual interdependence, the correlation of general language and specific language proficiencies of undergraduates from two universities was measured....

Vliv hospodářské krize na distorzi mezi efektivní a statutární sazbou daně v ČR / The impact of the economic crisis on the difference between the effective and statutory tax rate in the Czech Republic

Zavadilová, Dominika January 2017 (has links)
The diploma thesis on topic The impact of the economic crisis on the difference between the effective and statutory tax rate in the Czech Republic deals with the issue above the nominal and effective tax rates on corporate income during the economic crisis, specifically between years 2006 and 2015. The thesis deals with the causes of these differences between rates during each year of the crisis, and there is also comparison among the Czech Republic and European Union countries. First the work mentioned problems related to the last economic crisis, not only globally but also in terms of the Czech Republic. The following is a basic characteristic of the tax on corporate income, the share of total taxes over the years and the most important changes in the Law on Income Tax in the Czech Republic in individual years. In conclusion there is displayed the development of implicit and statutory tax rates and an analysis of the differences between these two rates.

Analýza penzijních systémů se zaměřením na fondový pilíř financování / Analysis of the pension systems with focus on the funded pillar

Baumruk, Luděk January 2010 (has links)
The diploma thesis deals with the privatization of the pay-as-you-go pension systems, and it aims to theoretically and empirically disconfirm the widely spread imaginary benefits of the transfer to the fully funded social security system. These so-called social security myths are inherently connected with the transformation of the implicit pension debt to the explicit debt which, as confirmed by the designed multiple regression model, has a negative influence on rating and therefore on financing expenses of certain states. The thesis also focuses on legislative modifications of pension funds in the Czech Republic which fundamentally add to almost zero real annual yield. After subtraction of deferred expenses and revaluation reserve held in equity of particular pension funds, the average real annual yield in recent fifteen years is actually negative.
