Ruské "nové drama" / Russian "New Drama"Magdová, Marcela January 2017 (has links)
The work focuses on the current Russian-language theatre writing, more precisely on its strongest and best-known fraction known as the “New Drama” movement. It questions the usage of the term itself as well as it outlines the historical development of Russian theatre, of drama of last twenty-five years and related events of the collapse of the Soviet Union and reflects the change of social paradigm.
It describes the emergence of the phenomenon of "New Drama". It presents the names, institutions, general tendencies and its typology. In the second part, it puts emphasis on the production of four selected authors of the movement: Olya Mukhina, Ivan Vyrypayeva, Mikhail Durnyenkov and Yaroslava Pulinovich, whose works are analysed in detail. The analysis of the work of the four chosen authors and the context of its creation confirms the initial thesis of the gradual convergence of the original subcultural phenomenon with the mainstream. In conclusion, the thesis attempts to name the circumstances that led to the change of the authors’ strategies and thus generally to the transformation of the mainstream subculture.

Vliv literárních cen na mediální obraz oceněných knih (2012) / Impact of literary prizes awarded to the media image of booksLinhart, Jiří January 2016 (has links)
This diploma thesis researches the impact of a literary prize on the media image of the awarded book in 2012. More precisely I pursue these awards and winning titles: Jaroslav Seifert Prize (Vladimír Binar: Číňanova pěna), Jiří Orten Award (Vratislav Maňák: Šaty z igelitu), Josef Škvorecký Award (Kateřina Tučková: Žítkovské bohyně), Magnesia Litera - The Book of the Year (Michal Ajvaz: Lucemburská zahrada). First I analyse the change of the quantity (the number of references and the share within the text), then I focus on the modification of the journalistic assessment of the title (on the scale positive - neutral - negative). In first case I use a quantitative analysis of media content, in the second case I use a comparative semiotic analysis. My sample are these Czech periodicals, in alphabetical order: A2, Aktuálně.cz, Hospodářské noviny, Host, iDnes.cz, Lidové noviny, Literární noviny, Reflex, Respekt, Tvar. The main output is a discovery, how the Czech print and online written media reflect the results of the literary prizes, also I (try to) determine the media power of each award.

Architektura ve službách Československých aerolinií. Interiéry reprezentačních cestovních kanceláří ČSA a letiště Praha-Ruzyně v 60. letech / Architekture and Czechoslovak Airlines (ČSA). Interiors of ČSA Offices and Prague Ruzyně International Airport in the SixtiesPapežová, Petra January 2017 (has links)
In the 1960s Czechoslovak Airlines (ČSA) set up offices in the countries to which they operated regular flights. ČSA branches abroad were to match high standards of other airlines premises. In those years travelling by air was still regarded a luxury. ČSA had to take these facts into consideration. The same group of architects, designers and artists who participated in the design of ČSA branch offices took also part in the outline of the new Prague Ruzyně international airport checking-in hall. This thesis aims to depict some former, now vanished, ČSA premises. In the 1990s ČSA closed down some offices abroad and the Prague Ruzyně international airport checking- in hall (now Terminal 1) was completely reconstructed. Press and other articles, archive documents, monographies as well as information provided directly by architects, designers and artists or their relatives were used in order to describe some previous ČSA publicly accessible premises and works of art that they included. On the basis of ascertained facts, it is obvious that in the 1960s ČSA offices abroad were not only to promote the good company reputation but further fulfilled a political role to create a positive picture of the Czechoslovak Republic. ČSA offices were designed by groups around Karel Filsak and Jan Šrámek. Their signatures can...
