The subject of the diploma thesis is a proposal of a community center in Žďár nad Sázavou. The proposal deals with the adaptation of the original building of the 1960s Creche and its reconstruction into a Community Center, which also includes a low-threshold center, a small crche, a social services headquarters building and a day care center for mentally disabled people. The work was elaborated in cooperation with the management of Žďár nad Sázavou and the city architect.

THE NORTH WEST SIDE OF THE LAND IS NOT LOADED BY TRAFFIC OPERATION, THEREFORE THAT SITUATION WAS PRIMARY IN THE PROPOSAL DESIGNED FOR THE LOCATION OF CROPS WHICH REQUIRE MAXIMUM SAFETY IN THE ENVIRONMENT. THE CONNECTION BETWEEN THE FACILITIES AND THE FAMILY BUILDING IS A MEETING IN THE BUILDING. THESE TWO PARAMETERS FOLLOW THE LOCATION OF THE CULTURAL CENTER IN THE MEDITERRANEAN THROUGH THE BUILDING, WHERE THE INSIDE IS FROM THE SOUTH SIDE. TO 2ND, ON THE CENTER OF MEDITERRANEAN MOTORCYCLE, MISSY CHILDREN CENTER WHICH HAS A RELATIONSHIP WITH THE CULTURAL CENTER. THESE TWO PROGRAMS TOGETHER TOGETHER TOGETHER, THEIR CONNECTION IS LOGICAL. THE EASTERNESS I HAVE LOOKED FOR THE LOCATION OF THE BUILDING PROGRAM OF THE CLUB IN THEIR 9TH REQUIREMENTS IS ALSO INCLUDED IN THE INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL AREAS THAT ARE THROUGH JESUS. THE ROOMS AROUND THE BUILDINGS ARE FILLED BY THE BUILDINGS, THEY WERE USED BY THE USERS THROUGH THAT BUILDING TO GO TO 2ND, WHERE THEY ARE PRESENTED FOR THE USE OF THE BUILDINGS. THE LARGE AREAS OF THE LAND ARE IN THE NORTH OF THE COUNTRY TREATED AS A PUBLIC AREA DESIGNED FOR REMOVAL OR RELAXATION. Yet, in the southern part, there is a pavilion for the public to various sports. THERAPEUTICAL ADJUSTMENTS OF THE SOUTH PART MAKES THE OPPORTUNITY OF CULTURAL PROJECTS FOR THE PUBLIC.

ANNOTATION: This thesis deals with institutional upbringing and education of children up to three years in the Czech and German environment. It introduces the current situation of early childhood education with regard to historical context, legislative arrangement and initial models of both countries. The practical part compares examples from the following institutions: Children's nursery Jihlava, Czech-German kindergarten KIDS Company Prague and Kindertagestätte Entdeckerkiste Dresden. The paper provides analysis of their educational documents, describes the conditions of upbringing and education and examines thein impal on the children in these institutions. Assessment of the strengths and weaknesses is reflected in the proposal of optimal educational plan for early childhood.

The thesis concerns with the issue of harmonization of a family life with work duties of parents of children up to the age of 3 years in Czech Republic. Theoretical part focuses on the difficulties, which come with and which complicate the harmonization, on the supportive arrangements in the family and workplace that help the harmonization; it deals with the role of state and employers in this domain. Furthermore it describes the system of services in daycare for the youngest children with the accent on the problems of day nursery. It presents current modern day nurseries and rebuts arguments which doubt the reason of their existence. Practical part of the thesis consists of description and analysis of a research inquiry which was made among the parents that decided to put their children into day nursery. Target of the inquiry was to find out which reasons led parents to the use of this particular childcare service form, what moved them to choose public institutional facility and not another form of care that would enable them to ensure childcare in their home.

The aim of this project is a reconstruction of a former kindergarten building in Žďár nad Sázavou to a community center with several functional units. The existing building was bulit in 1960s. The site is located on the border of the old and new buildings – on one side, there is a Stalingrad housing estate from the 1950s built from brick houses in the socialist realism style. On the other side of the site are built new family houses, which are quickly expanding. The smaller part of the object is still used, the rest is abandoned. The house is surrounded by a large garden. The garden is defined by a fence and trees in a way, which creates a barrier, so the building does not communicate with surroundings in any way. The aim of the project is to create a centre of Stalingrad connected with surroundings and creating a meeting place for communities living in the area by using building interventions.

1 ABSTRACT The diploma work titled "The parents', teachers' and day care center staff view on possibility of placing two-year-old children in nursery schools" analyzes the specifics and problems of today's families with young children. It defines the concept of early childhood, describes a child's development at toddler age, and also characterizes today's toddler. The work is dedicated to the maturity of children for entry into nursery schools. Furthermore the diploma work describes the history and current problems of the care for children younger than three years in the Czech Republic in comparison with representative European countries. The diploma work is a survey focused on three categories of respondents' views on the possibility of inclusion of children from two years of age in nursery schools as a plan for future solution of the issue of systemic agenda of day care center for children under three years of age in the Czech Republic. The thesis named "Opinions of opinions of contemporary mothers on the upbringing and education of children up to three years " examines and describes the services of day care centres for children up to three years in the Czech Republic in context with the family policy of our country and the Barcelona aims. Contemporary education possibilities of children up to three years in the selected states of EU in connection with their respective family policy are outlined too. The thesis also includes a research investigation of problematic questions concerning the upbringing and education of children up to three years, whose aim was to determine the concrete opinions and attitudes of the examined group of 75 mothers with children up to three years towards the family and non-family care in the region of Mladá Boleslav and its surroundings. It also examines which options of the children early care are used by mothers most often and what are the reasons behind. In the practical part of the thesis the general awareness of mothers about the options of the day care for children up to three years, including the personal attitude towards the nursery, was established. The research was divided into two parts and mapped the current situation in the region of Czech Republic and Česke Budějovice in terms of care services for children under three years of age and respondents' oppinions related to these services, including relations with age, residence, education and reflection on starting work earlier than three years of a child. Statistical analysis was aimed at assessing dependency factors and the subsequent search of categories and where was a significant difference. It was a quantitative research. Object of inquiry was set 716 selected respondents, namely parents of children under the age of three from the Region of České Budějovice.

The thesis is focused on the current possibilities of day care for children under three years and a deeper analysis of educational programmes supporting the development of children aged between two and three years in the capital city of Prague. The theoretical part summarizes the child care options in this age group, in terms of past and current offers in the Czech Republic, and covers the system of early intervention in selected European countries. With regard to the research objective, the work focuses on the child's needs, specific developmental areas and related educational programs that promote the development of the child's personality. For research, qualitative and quantitative methods are used - the methods of observation and questionnaires. The research is an analysis of the availability of interactive programmes for children, but also the potential of teachers to participate in the preparation, implementation and content of the programmes with regard to their experience and knowledge gained in working with young children. The research shows quite a wide selection of Czech and foreign programmes that aim to provide incentives for children to develop their abilities, skills and interests and enable the first steps toward socialization and adaptation to the new environment.
