À análise dos textos se seguirá o confronto com as exegeses laicas que, ao que tudo indica, foram usadas como fonte, assim como o cotejo com o romance Les mémoires de Judas de Petruccelli della Gattina. Também apontar-se-á, mesmo que brevemente, a presença de Jesus Cristo nas obras de escritores contemporâneos de Eça: Guerra Junqueiro e Gomes Leal. Para finalizar, pretende-se rastrear algumas das repercussões na maneira de se ver o fundador do Cristianismo na literatura portuguesa pós-Geração de 70 / Abstract: This work intends to analyse how the figure of Jesus is represented in the fictional work of Eça de Queiroz, taking mainly into account three instances of such representation: A relíquia, "A Morte de Jesus", and "O Suave Milagre". The analysis of the texts above will be followed by a comparison of the lay exegesis, which has been used as a source, also in conjunction with the novel Les mémoires de Judas by Petruccelli della Gattina. Other occurrences of the same literaryphenomenon, in literary works of authors of the same period of Eça's, such as Guerra Junqueiro and Gomes Leal, will be briejly commented on.
