Esta dissertação tem por objetivo discutir projetos de emancipação feminina, em fins do século XIX, no Brasil. Apesar de datarem de uma época em que os movimentos feministas em nosso país ainda não haviam se consolidado, inúmeras bandeiras então defendidas foram colocadas em pauta pelas feministas brasileiras do século XX. Utilizamos como fonte de pesquisa alguns periódicos do período: O Sexo Feminino, Primavera, O Quinze de Novembro do Sexo Feminino e A Familia. Esses jornais foram fundados por mulheres e tinham por objetivo se dedicar exclusivamente a discussões de interesse feminino, como a melhoria da educação da mulher; a inserção da mulher no mercado de trabalho; a produção intelectual feminina; a relação entre os sexos e o sufrágio feminino. Nossas personagens principais foram Francisca Senhorinha da Motta Diniz e Josephina Alvares de Azevedo, redatoras e proprietárias dos jornais pesquisados. Utilizando teorias feministas e métodos para se trabalhar a imprensa, tivemos como intuito colocar em evidência pensamentos de mulheres, até o momento desconhecidos pela maioria, ressaltar a riqueza da imprensa enquanto fonte de pesquisa, propor questionamentos sobre a ação das mulheres em seu tempo, repensar os movimentos feministas no Brasil e resgatar personagens e obras esquecidos pela história. / This dissertation aims to discuss projects about female emancipation in Brazil\'s late nineteenth. Although they date from a time when the feminist movement in our country had not yet been consolidated, the projects in question had feminist character, since many ideas advocated at the time were placed on the agenda by the Brazilian feminists of the twentieth century. Some journals of the period were used as a source of research, as O Sexo Feminino, Primavera, O Quinze de Novembro do Sexo Feminino, and A Familia. These newspapers were founded by women and aimed to dedicate themselves to discussions of female interest, as improving women education, the inclusion of women in the labor market; female intellectual production, the relationship between the sexes, and suffrage. The main characters were Francisca Senhorinha da Motta Diniz and Josephina Alvares de Azevedo, editors in chief and owners of the newspapers surveyed. Using feminist theories and methods for working the press, this essay had the intention to highlight women thoughts (yet unknown by most) and the press richness as a research source. It also proposes questions about the action of women during that time, to rethink feminist movements in Brazil and to rescue works and characters forgotten by history.

Thesis title in English Constitutio Criminalis Josephina and its influence on the decision-making practice of the Court of Appeal: Sexual offences in the years 1687-1727 Abstract This paper captures the development of the juridical practice of the Prague Court of Appeal between years 1687-1727 and examines the influence of the Constitutio Criminalis Josephina of 1707/8 on this practice. The research is focused on punishing of the sexual offenses, ie adultery, bigamy, fornication, incest, rape and sodomy. The primary sources for the research are law codes, especially Koldín's Code Práva městská Království českého (1579) and "Josephina"; besides them others are used: the Constitutio Criminalis Carolina (1532), the Constitutio Criminalis Ferdinandea (1656) and Brikcí's Práva městská (1536). The practice of the appellate court itself has been examined on the basis of the books of sentences that contain the judgments of that court. Firstly, the relevant legislation of the period was described for each of the offenses and then the judicial practice was examined. The applied methodology can be qualified as quantitative-qualitative comparative analysis which makes possible recognizing the changes that occurred with the implementation of "Josephina".
