Its objective aims to verify how the youth identity developed within the changes and transformations of post-modern society and in which way the religious music was present in those changes. In a first moment a bibliographic research was developed which aimed to discuss themes like identity , adolescence , youth , modernity , post-modernity , hybrid culture , music and religion . In the second part the analysis and discussion of the field research data with 245 young people from local communities, at the age of 15 up to 25 years old, was accomplished. The paramount objective was to verify in which way this young modern identity was constructed and how the religious music contributed and influenced this process. There was also an intension to verify the identity construction of the young people, considering the social group of which they are part and how the post-modern culture helped them in the definition of their artistic and musical tastes. It is believed that this research will help in the understanding of the moment of so many social transformations, physical and emotional changes that religious communities experience, the new generations and the worship practice in all of them. / Esta pesquisa busca estudar o lugar da música religiosa na construção psicossocial da identidade de jovens presbiterianos independentes no estado de São Paulo. Seu objetivo visa verificar como se desenvolveu a identidade jovem dentro das mudanças e transformações da sociedade pós-moderna e de que maneira a música religiosa esteve presente nessas alterações. Primeiramente, foi desenvolvida uma pesquisa bibliográfica, que procurou discutir temas como identidade , adolescência , juventude , modernidade , pós-modernidade , cultura hibrida , música e religião . Na segunda parte foi realizado a análise e discussão dos dados de uma pesquisa de campo com 245 jovens das comunidades locais, situados na faixa etária de 15 a 25 anos. O objetivo primordial foi o de verificar de que maneira se deu a construção dessa identidade jovem moderna e de como a música religiosa contribuiu e influenciou. A pretensão foi também a de verificar a construção identitária dos jovens respondentes levando-se em consideração o grupo social em que estão inseridos e de que maneira a cultura pós-moderna os ajudou na definição de seus gostos artísticos e musicais. Acredita-se que esta pesquisa ajudará na compreensão de momento de tantas transformações sociais, mudanças físicas, emocionais que experimentam as comunidades religiosas, as novas gerações e a prática cultica em todas elas.

The purpose of this institution is to approach the young community starting from bases offered by theory of complexity. The main goal of this research are investigate the scenario experienced by the Pastoral School from its actions with young teenagers during high school, analyze the contributions that the themes about the theory of complexity offers to the Pastoral Catholic School to work with young teenagers in high school, and identify the relationship between the needs of the young teenagers and the Pastoral Catholic School actions. There are specific questions that we expect to answer by the end of this research like what is the scenario experienced by the Pastoral Catholic School working with young teenagers in high school? What are the contributions of the theory of complexity to the work of the Pastoral Catholic School with young teenagers in high school? Which relationship can be established between the needs of the young teenagers and the actions taken by the Pastoral Catholic School? Since the story and the social environment that the institution and the people involved interfere directly in the actions practiced by the Pastoral Catholic School, this research was developed in a methodological process in which were conducted interviews with the young teenagers in an exploratory way. / A Pastoral Escolar Católica atua com crianças e jovens desde a educação infantil até o término do Ensino Médio. A proposta aqui levantada foi uma aproximação com o público jovem a partir de bases oferecidas pela teoria da complexidade. Os objetivos da pesquisa são: investigar o cenário vivenciado pela Pastoral Escolar a partir das suas ações com jovens no período do Ensino Médio; analisar as contribuições dos temas da teoria da complexidade para as ações da Pastoral Escolar com jovens no Ensino Médio; identificar a relação entre as necessidades dos/das jovens com as ações da Pastoral Escolar. Entende-se que há questões específicas as quais espera-se responder durante a pesquisa; são elas: qual o cenário vivenciado pela Pastoral Escolar na sua atuação com jovens no Ensino Médio? Quais contribuições os temas da teoria da complexidade oferecem para as ações da Pastoral Escolar com jovens no Ensino Médio? Qual relação pode ser estabelecida entre as necessidades dos/das jovens e as ações específicas da Pastoral Escolar acerca dessas questões? A pesquisa foi desenvolvida a partir de um processo metodológico no qual foram conduzidas entrevistas semiestruturadas com os/as jovens e assumiu um caráter exploratório, uma vez que a história e o contexto social no qual a instituição e as pessoas envolvidas interferem de forma direta nas ações praticadas pela Pastoral.

By melting of solids he talks about the dissolution of old social order, repudiation and fallen of past, where the tradition reveals solid. There is a crushing of believing and loyalties to this tradition and social order. The post-modernity, comprehended as this melting of solids, brought new ways of live youth and religion. The aim of this research is comprehend the youth religiosity in post-modernity times inside regular Baptist church context. The post-modernity youth religious ethos introduces characteristics of a self-love culture, breaking ideal of live to each other, social relationships fluid, in believing and religious belonging, as well bricolage of believings. This produces a institutional crises and religious transmission inside the Maanaim church. During the research a typology was developed to comprehend the religious movement inside the Maanaim Baptist church. Three types are making: believe with no belonging, given to Satan and orthodox youth. The first type refers to young, going out or staying in church, search a fluid commitment. The second type, talk about the young that broke with dogmas of church and so that are stigmatized. The third type include young that defends the doctrine and practices of church. / A modernidade desde o início foi um processo de liquefação e de derretimento dos sólidos (BAUMAN, 2001). Por derretimento dos sólidos ele se refere à dissolução da antiga ordem social, ao repúdio e destronamento do passado, onde a tradição se manifestava sólida. Há um esmagamento das crenças e lealdades a esta tradição e ordem social. A pós-modernidade, entendida como esse derretimento dos sólidos, trouxe novas maneiras de viver a juventude e a religião. O objetivo da pesquisa é compreender a religiosidade juvenil em tempos pós-modernos no contexto de uma igreja batista regular. O ethos religioso juvenil pós-moderno apresenta traços de uma cultura do self-love, rompimento com o ideal de viver para o próximo, fluidez nos relacionamentos sociais,nas crenças e pertencimentos religiosos, bem como, bricolagem de crenças. Isso gera uma crise institucional e de transmissão religiosa dentro da igreja Maanaim. Durante a pesquisa se desenvolve uma tipologia para se compreender o movimento religioso dentro da igreja batista Maanaim. Três tipos são idealizados: Crer sem pertencer, entregue a satanás e jovens ortodoxos. O primeiro tipo refere-se aos jovens, saindo ou ficando na igreja, buscam uma adesão fluida. O segundo tipo fala dos jovens que romperam com os dogmas da igreja e por isso são estigmatizados. No terceiro tipo lida-se com os jovens que defendem a doutrina e as práticas da igreja.
