The dissertation entitled "Formation of the catechists laymen in the Czech and Moravian dioceses (1990 - 2015)" focuses on the development of the formation of lay catechists in Czech and Moravian dioceses in the last twenty five years. With a view to the official catholic documents referring to the formation of lay catechists, this work is aimed to evaluate the fundamental and lifelong formation of catechists in particular dioceses. The dissertation is based on a combined research consisting of inquiries, which are being answered due to a solid insight into documents of dioceses, internal documents of diocesan catechetical centres as well as surveys and interviews with heads of catechetical centres and witnesses of the historical activity of these centres. The practical part contains charts. Final part of the dissertation indicates advantages of this work which can be used in future following research on the subject of formation of lay catechists in the Czech Republic. The Czechoslovak Hussite Church can be proud of professor Otto Rutrle's personality, because by his pedagogical and educational approach he helped to realize and revive religious education and catechetical teaching in the Church. In his publications The Road to the Child I. and The Road to the Child II. pays great attention to this activity and he touches on individual topics that are necessary for teaching and education in the Czechoslovak Hussite Church. He does not neglect the importance of a teacher, as a preacher, a guide and a helper on the path to the spiritual knowledge. He emphasizes the personal religion, that lives. He uses examples from the Holy Scripture for a practical spiritual life. His work is a legacy not only for our generation, but also for following generations. In my master's thesis, I have mostly tried to look into the activities of Sunday school, which was closely linked to the life of the Church. There were cultivated both moral and spiritual values needed for life. I have wanted to show by master's thesis, how important were the Christian education and teaching for children and youth. This thesis is devoted to the topic catechetical work with children in the Czechoslovak Hussite Church. After presenting into context depicts the subject from two point sof wiew. The first part is devoted to theoretical catechetics, which describes how the catechesis of children theoretically takes place. The sekond part shows you how it really takes place in Hradec Kralove diocese of the Czechoslovak Hussite Church. These two parts are equally divided into three sections. By comparing these sections it is concluded that in practice the fundamental katechetice coincides with the theory. In a formal katechetics, basic points also coincide, but practice may inspire theory rather than vice verse. The material part is of the biggest contradictions, especially in materials that Czechoslovak Hussite Church does (not) offer. Mismatch in this material part of catechetics is essential, and unless a consensus is reached again, the problems that the practice faces, cannot be solved.
