(English version) My Diploma thesis deals with the evolution of kiteboarding from the perspective of its users, connected locations and services. In my work you can find summary of powerkiting disciplines, historical background and main kiteboarding associations. Diploma thesis gives complex overview within the industry a gives perspectives on possible evolution of this relatively young sport. (English version) Title: Characteristic of the Czech kiteboarding population Objectives: The main goal of this thesis is research of available sources concerning to the topic and analysis and detailed characteristic of the Czech kiteboarding population. Methods: Research of this thesis was based on questionnaires which were collected between kiteboarders and following analysis of collected information. Questionnaire has 20 topics, which were given to respondents who already have experiences with kiteboarding. The questions in the research were made to give one answer or select one of the options. It was collected 200 questionnaires at total. Main methods used in this work are: analysis, synthesis, induction. Results: On the base of research were confirmed given hypothesis. Which are: 1. We assume that at least half of the kiteboarding population think that kiteboarding is dangerous. 2. More than half of the respondents started with kiteboarding on their own. In diploma thesis which is about relatively young and developing sport were collected and analyzed important figures on sample of kiteboarding population. 10 Abstract This study deals with sustainability of kiteboarding with focus on manufacturing of equipment for this water sport. The goal of this research was to develop set of specialized indicators for kiteboarding companies in order to monitor their externalities on the environment. Firstly, the author collected the recent scientific knowledge about this young sport. Subsequently, sustainability of related sports as surfing, windsurfing and wakeboarding were questioned. It is possible to say that the materials used for manufacturing of the equipment mean great environmental problem. Another negative impacts are caused by large-scale events and tourism. By a comparison mezhod the GRI initiative was chosen as basic set of indicators. These indicators were then modified to meet the needs of kiteboarding industry as much as possible. However, some new indicators were invented and unnecessary indicators were rejected. These changes were based on analysis of CSR reports of big sport goods companies; analysis of negative externalities of kiteboarding; and interviews with manufacturers of kiteboarding equipment. Ape Boards is my own newly formed label, which manufactures snowboards and kiteboards. For this thing I have proposed a substantial logotype, which has a function as a unifying element across the whole brand and designs boards. Website (www.apeboards.com). A first collection of snowboards and kiteboards from which I had made 7 pieces for a thesis. Designs do not 'mass' lust, because the objective is not a big production or promotion, but based on what I liked. From the minimalism through the color geometry to the gorillas, according to which the brand was named.
