The subject of the diploma thesis is a characteristic of elements of tax autonomy and their following analysis executed in municipalities of Kladno district. Description of elements of tax autonomy of mentioned municipalities by law number 338/1992 Coll., about tax on real estates and by law number 565/1990 Coll., about local charges is included in theoretical section of the diploma thesis. The signifikance of the elements of tax autonomy consists in the fact that through them can the municipalities increase their tax incomes and therefore their financial independence from the state. In the practical part of the diploma thesis is analysed the rate of utilization of these elements in municipalities of Kladno district and also there are deduced the aspects which influence it. In the last part of the diploma thesis the established rate of utilization of the elements of tax autonomy in municipalities of Kladno district are being compared with the national average. Performed analysis shows that the rate of utilization of local coefficient is (in contrast with the rate of utilization of the coefficient 1,5 and alteration of correctional coefficient in Kladno district) higher then the national average. From the viewpoint of local charges was found that overall collection of local charges in Kladno district since the year 2007 decreased, while the national collection of local charges increased. Increase of collections, compared to the year 2007, was in Kladno district recorded only local charges for waste, dogs and accommodation capacity.

During past era, Kladno and its surrounding area was an industrial district. Local development started at the end of the 18th century in connection with the discovery of coal seams. With the establishment of steelworks, massive growth of the entire region began in second half of 19th century. An increase in the population brought the need for an effective means of communication and this in turn resulted in this development of local media. Although local development had started late, Kladno quickly caught up with rest of the country and became really important nationally. During what was called "First Republic," there were many types of media but the most important was the labour-press. It was most evident with the social riots and general strike in 1920. World War II interrupted media publishing and the future situation in Czechoslovakia was not positive. After communist control of the country in 1948, media development stagnated. This thesis analyzes the sustainable development strategy focusing on the environmental pillar and the subsequent evaluation of the implementation of environmental sustainability in Kladno. The main aim was to evaluate the active and environmental policy perspective of the city. In the theoretical part are described various laws, documents and instruments relating to environmental policy and sustainable development. The thesis is talking about the area of interest, its historical development, demography, environment, social and cultural fields. Using concrete examples it is recommended how the environmental management of Kladno could proceed in the future. The proposed recommendations are a result of analysis of all available information which include the needs and requirements of city residents.It is important to update Strategy of environmental policy and introduction of activities from the Sustainable Development Strategy SO ORP Kladno in to practise. Improving of public services and community cohesion. Establishment of school forums in primary schools. The final part contains the results of a field survey. Questionnaires were handed and collected in combination with controlled interviews.

The aim of diploma thesis is to identify the level of corporate social responsibilty in the specific organizations from different branches including non-profit organizations. The thesis also involves an analysis of inhabitans' consciousness about corporate social responsibility. The research includes also a sample of students. This thesis evaluates the level of corporate social responsibility, compares results with results of whole Czech Republic research, identifies weaknesses and offers recommendations for improvement of corporate social responsibility at Kladno region.

This thesis aims to determine the impact of the decline of the major employers in the region Kladno on the local labour market. The work examines the development and causes of changes in unemployment in the region between years 1996 and 2014 and seeks to assess the extent to which historical burden of the region affects the current state of the labour market. For this purpose the thesis is divided into two parts. The first part, theoretical, is focused on the definition of unemployment and development of the Czech economy in economic transformation process with an emphasis on changes in employment structure. It also describes the history of the city of Kladno, Kladno's metallurgy and mining. The second part, practical, includes demographic analysis and the analysis of unemployment and labour market using data from the Czech Statistical Office, Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, strategic documents of the city of Kladno and SWOT analysis. This thesis also includes interviews with experts from local institutions dealing with economic and social aspects of Kladno region, aiming to get the basic building blocks of the analysis and at the same time confirm the conclusions of this thesis.

The presented diploma work under the title Reverent commemoration of the annihilation of the village Lidice in Kladno Gymnasium deals primarily with the course of this memorial action and informing grammar school students about historical events which happened on its field. Then it tries to give an idea of problematic of passing the historical awareness to further generations and ways which can lead to this public education. The work also tries to reflect the current situation in informing next generations and its research is grounded in tangible and memorial resources, thus literature and interviews with narrators. It is divided into three explanatory chapters. The introduction part occupies with methodological methods, based on which this one was worked out, research of information sources including available literature, archival or website sources as well as other kinds of backgrounds. The thesis is dealing with construction damages in the undermined Kladno-Švermov district. This area is situated in the Kladno Coal district, which is a part of the Kladno- Rakovník Basin. Kladno-Švermov is one of the places which have been affected by mining activity for more than last 150 years. Firstly the historical documentation, structure development and engineering geology investigations were reviewed. Secondly the area was investigated and the catalogue of 39 documentation points was made. The aim was to register visible construction damages on buildings, roads, or bricked fences, which could be caused by effects of undermining. The consequences of undermining in the Kladno-Švermov district are still apparent and the impacts of the hard coal mining are not finished. The main impact in the area is represented by subsidence basin. It has affected all the area and the damages are mainly caused by unequal descent. They are visible on some buildings, roads, or fences. Attachment number 3 is represented by commented catalogue of the main damages in the area and map of the undermined district with documentation points is enclosed as an attachment number 4.

Probe into religious life in the Czech Republic would certainly be beneficial for the Czech sociology and religious studies, her research and treatment would not necessarily have to be based on several years of research activity. Due to the type of work I have therefore decided to focus on selected Czech city whose religious life might yield representative results. The task was daunting. The main stumbling block appeared to be time-consuming and the amount of data required for processing. The entire probe is based on socio-anthropological empirical research to not even bring religionistic theological knowledge, although it is clear that their job does not shirk. In culturologistic context is the focus of interest in the work of churches and religious associations as a subculture, their inner and outer life, forms of communication with the urban community and defining against her and against other religious groups. In this context attention is paid to the question of how different religious groups perceived their predominantly atheistic environment. Since the second half of the 1990s a residential suburbanization process has occurred in the Czechia. Within the process residents move from cities to municipalities that are located in their outskirts. The general aim of the thesis is to evaluate the social environment in Kladno district which is change just as a consequence of the residential suburbanization process. Within the general aim, the thesis sets out three partial objectives: To characterize the process of residential suburbanization in Kladno district, to evaluate changes in the socio- spatial structure of Kladno district with the main focus on the suburban municipalities, and to evaluate the social environment in the selected suburban municipality in Kladno district. There are quantitative methods used in the work. To accomplish the first and second partial objectives is used the analysis of statistical data from Czech Statistical Office. To accomplish the third partial objective is used a questionnaire survey, which investigate how respondents interact with native and new residents and how they engage in social and political life in Buštěhrad.
