The thesis deals with the selfhoods of the economics of professional sports clubs. Theoretical part shows the transition from traditional to contemporary professional sports financing with focusing on differences between european and american model. European union's attitude towards the problematics of professional sport is presented as well. Practital part of the thesis looks over the economics of professional football clubs in Europe. Revenues, expenditures and financing of the clubs are all examined in this part. Finally, thesis analyzes the potential threats to football clubs and provides with suggested regulatory actions.

The main target of this thesis is to analyze and evaluate the corporate governance of three professional clubs which operate in the I. or II. football league in the Czech Republic. The thesis will be based on theoretical knowledge and recommendation from the corporate governance of business companies but also with a focus on sports clubs, or directly football clubs. In the practical part I will make a research in three clubs with focusing mostly on the function of the executive organs, employees and their relationship with owners. Furthermore, I will focus on finding out the administrative structures and discovering primary and secondary stakeholders in the various clubs.

The goal of this work is to acquaint with the current situation of information system for sportclubs. To get a comprehensive overview of their species, the suitability of some of them just for these organizations. Specific target group is university sports clubs. This work shows for their needs with regard to the size of the club and its activities, obtained through the survey. The practical part is presented in detail, information system made-to-measure USK FM Jindrichuv Hradec and is compared with offerings of software companies in its development.

The thesis deals with the sponsorship in small sports organizations. The theoretical part of thesis specifies the term sponsorship, sports sponsorship and also defines the concept of a small sports organizations and their importance in sport. In the practical part, we used a mixed method approach. The first phase was qualitative survey and we conducted semi-structured interviews in 9 sports organizations. The second part is a quantitative survey among officials and members of sports clubs and fans (the target group of advert). The results reveal the level of sponsorship within the small sports organizations and define its importance for these organizations and the sponsors itself. The work provides useful advice for sports organizations in acquisition of new sponsors.

Title: Monitoring circumstances for yourth ice hockey in selected hockey clubs in smaller towns Purpose: Main aim of diploma tesis is to decribe situation in selected ice hockey clubs in Czech republic. Visited clubs were choosen by small numbers of members in youth categories of ice hockey players. Huge effort of the diploma tesis is detect causes unsatisfactory situation in clubs and suggest the best solutions to expansion and development youth membership. Methods: Survey is based on depth and sturctured interviews with the expert guidance of the clubs and the mayors of the cities. Next method used in diploma tesis is utilized content data analysis. Thanks to using these two methods was formed qualitative research, which was summarized and described in 18 case studies. Results: Both methods are qualitatively processed in case studies. There are carefully and accuratelly reasons of decreasing youth membership in ice hockey clubs. There is also decribed way of solution. The topic of this diploma thesis is contracts between professional sportsmen and sports clubs and its implication on credit rating of sports clubs. Firstly, the legal framework of sport and sport contracts is defined both in Czech and European perspective with evaluation of differences. Within this legal framework the distinctions of a sports club, in relation to other production enterprises, are described. Main difference further studied in the application part is the inability to display professional sportsmen as a major asset of a sports club in the club's balance sheet. Financial implications of this difference are then given. In the application part the hypothesis that the disproportionate amount of club's assets in the production of sport's goods has negative influence on credit rating of sports club is tested. Two models based on financial data of Czech professional football club, AC Sparta Praha fotbal a.s., are created and tested. Finally, the results are compared and assessed.

Proper valuation of professional football clubs requires understanding and taking into account specific features of sports. Once we are familiar with the relevant issues and have reliable input information, we can determine appropriate valuation techniques, which shall respect purpose of the valuation alongside with any related specific features. Subsequent application of the valuation techniques determines the value of the club. Comparing results of various methods within one club, as well as between the clubs, may test reliability of the values. With regard to their status and importance, Manchester United FC and Arsenal FC are the clubs chosen for the analysis and valuation performed in this dissertation thesis. The workflow and logic above facilitates performing reliable valuations of selected teams, as well as drawing the guidelines and recommendations for the valuation of professional football clubs with regards to specifics in their financing and economic functioning.

This thesis solves the emergence of a new club testing committee of the historic vehicles in Strakonice. The aim of the thesis was to determinate under what real conditions can be the new commission, functional, have enough costumers, successful and profitable. The thesis calculated three possible variants of financial analysis. For a better understanding of the market was used questionnaire survey of the market. Thesis also contains Porter´s Five Forces Analysis and SWOT analysis. Finally, were summarized all the findings, especially what competitive advantage should the commission use to succeed in the market, and in what a number of tests, and financial situation it makes sense to work and when it would terminate its activities.

Dissertation describes managemenet and organisation of football club depending on organization size. It analyzes individual aspects of management and organisation of sports organizations concerning football clubs. For example, evaluation of level of management and organisation of sports organization, current approaches to management of organisation and football clubs financing. Dissertation practise shows pieces of knowledge of management and organisation of football clubs and recognizes specifics of organisation in football clubs of different size. Large and small clubs are represented by FC Vysocina Jihlava, Slavoj TKZ Polna a and TJ Jiskra Dobronin.

Title: Comparison of sport clubs in Radotin and Zbraslav Targets: This thesis aims at producing an overview of the sport associations in Prague's district no. 16, namely in Radotin and Zbraslav. The thesis is to compare the differences in ensuring and carrying on sports activities within the association sphere in the given areas. Methods: For the purposes of the thesis the following methods have been used, namely a structured nonstandard interview, descriptive analysis and comparison. Results: It follows from the thesis that the associations based in Radotin do, indeed, function better that those situated in Zbraslav. That is especially true as regards their price policy, financing by way of subsidies, coaching stuff, organising of sports events as well as the cooperation with the public. On the contrary, Zbraslav associations have developed better cooperation with schools. Sport clubs in Zbraslav are more focused only on children and youth. In contrast, the Radotín sports clubs are trying to involve in its work all ages. For the purpose of presenting the sports overview we have created systematisation of sports facilities, database of contacts of executive directors of associations and comparative table of certain Radotin and Zbraslav sport associations.
