DOČEKALOVÁ, P. Business Ethics in Brokerage Companies. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel University in Brno, 2014. This diploma thesis tries to capture current state of business ethics in selected brokerage companies that are providers of financial services. Literature review contains theoretical knowledge from the field of insurance agents, insurance brokers and business ethics. Realization of the goal is focused on determining a level of business ethics in two brokerage companies. Based on gathered information, recommendations have been suggested in the conclusion of the thesis. Recommendations should lead to improving current situation and thereby improving quality of business ethics realization of financial services providers.

TITLE Congruence of the Personal and Organizational Values AUTHOR Jiří Krejčí ABSTRACT The aim of the research was with the assistance of research methods and different phases of action research to support reflection of values of individuals and the values of the selected organization and use it as an intervention in the process of improving the quality of care. The theoretical part describes the historical development of different perspectives on the organization and its management, the topic of organizational culture, its structure and composition and subsequent focus on organizational values. Empirical part is focused on increasing congruence of individual and organizational values in the organization through several stages of action research, which in this part of the paper, from the moment of diagnosis through planning surveys input status, plan and implement actions to its final evaluation. In conclusion, we describe the knowledge arising from our study that could be an inspiration for other organizations.

Kerr metric is one of the most well-known and useful exact solutions of Einstein equations. We study various geometric properties of the Kerr spacetime in order to gain intuition for its spatial shape. In the review part we summarize basic features of the Kerr geometry, we write down Carter equations for geodesic motion in the Kerr spacetime, and we introduce kinematic characteristics of time-like and light-like congruences, such as expansion, shear and twist. In the second part of the thesis we calculate scalars for acceleration, expansion, shear and twist - and plot the corresponding "equipotential" surfaces - for several privi- leged congruences, namely the Carter observers, the static observers, the zero-angular- momentum observers, the principal null congruence and the recently found non-twisting null congruence(s). We also draw surfaces radially equidistant from the horizon and sur- faces spatially orthogonal to the PNC and to the twist-free congruences, as well as the surfaces of constant energy and redshift for the important time-like congruences. 1

The South China Sea has been already for several centuries the root of a dispute among states neighbouring along its borders, namely the People's Republic of China (China), Vietnam, the Philippines, Indonesia, Brunei, and Malaysia. Since the Sea is very geopolitically and geostrategically important, China attempts to claim itself to be a sovereign. However, its activities face the demands of other states, especially Vietnam and the Philippines, which are also interested in gaining control over the islands in the South China Sea. For that reason, the dispute still persists, and the continuous activities of all concerned countries have created an endless spiral of events in which it is difficult to distinguish between the action and the reaction of individual actors in the dispute. My diploma thesis therefore focuses on the analysis of actions of the three selected countries, China, Vietnam, and the Philippines, from the perspective of structural realism that is split into two contradictory streams, defensive and offensive. The basic objective of the theoretical part of this diploma thesis is to present Rogers' Person- centred Approach (PCA) in terms of its development, theory, basic principles and potential applications out of therapeutical context, with emphasis on leadership. The first chapter is devoted to general knowledge of the PCA and in the second chapter there is a more detailed description of possible applications of the PCA in management. The basic objective of the empirical part is to verify the relationship between main necessary conditions of PCA in people management (respectively in person-centered leadership) and employees' organizational commitment. The quantitative research in the form of correlation study has been carried out on a sample of 63 respondents, employees of various organizations in various fields. Barrett-Lennard Relationship Inventory (BLRI) and Organizational Commitment Questionnaire (OCQ) were used as research methods. The results show the significant correlation between organizational commitment and measures of empathic understanding, congruence, and level of regard expressed by managers towards employees.
