Der erste Teil dieser Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit der "Synthese und Reaktivität sterisch anspruchsvoller Iminoborane". Dabei war es möglich, ausgehend von einem Terphenylamin geeignete Aminoborane zu synthetisieren, welche anschließend mit starken, nicht-nukleophilen Basen umgesetzt wurden. Mittels formaler HCl-Eliminierung mit LiTmp gelang auf diese Weise die Darstellung sterisch anspruchsvoller Iminoborane. Der zweite Teil dieser Arbeit befasst sich mit der "Untersuchung von B-B-Doppelbindungen als Bestandteil konjugierter p-Systeme". Durch die Verwendung von sterisch wenig anspruchsvollen Liganden oder Boryl-Substituenten war es möglich planare Diboren-Systeme zu generieren und darüberhinaus Divinyldiborene darzustellen. / The first part of this work deals with the "Synthesis and Reactivity of Sterically Demanding Iminoboranes". Starting with a terphenylamine, it was possible to synthesize aminoboranes, which were then reacted with strong, non-nucleophilic bases. Formal HCl elimination mit LiTmp thus enabled the preparation of sterically demanding iminoboranes. The second part of this thesis focuses on the "Integration of B-B Double Bonds in conjugated p-Systems". By using sterically low damanding ligands or boryl-substituents it was possible to generate planar diborene structures and to synthesize divinyldiborenes.

In dieser Arbeit wurde in Legionella pneumophila Corby ein bislang nicht in L. pneumophila beschriebener Bereich im Genom kloniert und sequenziert, der für ein putatives Konjugations- Typ IV Sekretionssystem kodiert. Alle für ein Typ IV Sekretionssystem notwendigen Gene sind vorhanden. Zum einen kodieren diese ein „mating pair formation“ System, also Proteine für die Pilusgenese und energieabhängigen Transport von Substraten aus der Bakterienzelle. Konjugationsexperimente zeigen, dass es sich bei den „DNA transfer and replication“ Genen trb/tra System um einen funktionierenden Mechanismus zur Mobilisierung von DNA handelt. / This study explains a System for gene transfer in Legionella pneumophila, which is abscent in the recently published Legionella pneumophila genomes. All genes needed for energy dependent transfer of genetic material are included in this gene cluster. Mating experiments show that those genes are able to mobilize DNA in E.coli strains.

The aim of this master thesis is to focus on a various methods of the conjugation of palladium nanoparticles of different shapes on the protein. The main point was to use both covalent and non-covalent conjugation of palladium nanoparticles on the protein and to use the functional conjugates to find out their stability in time.
