Vliv okolních dřevin na dendrometrické charakteristiky tisu / Impact of adjacent trees to mensurational characteristics of yew

Šlemr, Jakub January 2016 (has links)
In December 2015 the next part of the research population yew (Taxus baccata) took place in NPR Chlumská stráň. The specimens exceeding 4 meters at height at which the sex is possible to determine were selected from the total population. And from this group 50 individuals were randomly selected and the following characteristics were measured height, breast-height diameter, girth, height deployment of the first green branches, distances ends of the branches from the trunk, a distance of 5 nearest trees, their height and azimuth, also was intended sexes and crown shape. Volume and height of the crown were calculated. The aim is to determine how the surrounding tree species affect mensurational characteristics of the yew not only basic characteristics such as thickness at breast height and tree height, crown but also the crown characteristics and health status. The average diameter of the examined yews is 41,53 cm and a height of 13,66 m. The yew crowns were investigated in detail. The most important and interesting data are the yew crown projection and distances of competing species. The average crown projection yew is 79,25 square meters, the average height of the crown is 12,26 m, the surface of the crown is 2531,46 square meters, the average crown width is 10,36 m and the average volume of 429,80 cubic meters. 95 % of all surveyed yew has asymmetric crown, making it likely the high impact of competitive species. The most abundand species of competitors is hornbeam (Carpinus betulus) with a total of 60 individuals, an average height of 13,6 meters and an average distance of 5,79 meters, followed by lime(Tilia cordata) and manna ash (Fraxinus ornus). Crown yew are deflected to the north, northwest and west direction because of terrain conditions and competing trees. Research in the future should be also focused to the marginal tree species and for yew it should be very appropriate to establish permanent sample plots and to use collected information for return of yew to our forests.

Stanovení spolehlivých identifikačních znaků kvalitních a silně přirůstavých stromů jako základ probírkové metody cílových stromů

Vícha, Tomáš January 2017 (has links)
The aim of the thesis was determination of features, which indicate trees with above-average increment. The work was carried out in the forest district Borky, which is part of Training Forest Enterprise Masaryk Forest Křtiny. Trees of two main species, e.g. European beech and Norway spruce, were analyzed. In the field, total height, the height of the crown base, occurrence the forks and their heights were measured. Trees were assigned with social status, crown quality and release status. Using a logit model, it was found, that for beech, the only statistically significant parameter was social status. For spruce, diameter, crown length, distance between breast height and crown base, crown quality and the edaphic category were significant predictors of above-average increment. In the end, equations of probability have been compiled.

Schopnost tvorby sekundární koruny u vybraných taxonů dřevin

Vilím, Stanislav January 2012 (has links)
This dissertation thesis deals with ability of secondary crown formation after opening a canopy and secondary crown utilization in landscape architecture. The ability of different taxa of trees to form a secondary crown after opening a canopy is genetically conditioned and influenced by the specific terms of habitat, tree age, physiological state of the individual and the specific characteristics of the individual. As a model plant for this dissertation thesis was chosen a representative of the Quercus L. genus which is very frequently used in landscape architecture. Specifically, Quercus cerris L. taxon was chosen which is grown in forest stands of Lednice-Valtice Cultural Landscape as a monoculture. Field research was conducted in forest stand edges of Forest management unit Židlochovice, namely in forest district Valtice. In this forest district were found suitable sites that meet the condition of chosen evaluation methodology, allowing comparable statistical evaluation. Enough suitable forest stand edges were found that were selected for the experiment. To the topic of secondary crown formation after opening a canopy and practical utilization of secondary crown is paid only little attention in specialized publications and in both basic and applied research. This thesis brings knowledge that can significantly contribute to the development and importance of field Landscape architecture in contemporary society. The thesis brings a lot of new information and relationships that occur during tree crown regeneration when opening a canopy. These findings can be used for example during the regeneration of untended objects of garden art monuments and other objects of landscape architecture. The results may also help in the conversion of forest stands to different objects of landscape architecture both in urban and rural settlements. The results allow modeling the development of woody plant vegetation elements in these objects. It is clear that arbitrary regenerative ability of secondary crown formation and thus the replacement of the primary crown is not sufficient but it is always necessary to respond on this ability of regeneration by various means of tree care measures so that the whole intention reaches the optimal result. The results indicate that primary or secondary woody plant vegetation element opening a canopy is able to regenerate in order to increase its landscaping value or to increase its dendrological potential of the compound vegetation element. Knowledge can also be used for regeneration of trees on the newly created forest stand edges, historical parks or other compound woody plant vegetation elements.

Stanovení spolehlivých identifikačních znaků kvalitních a silně přirústavých stromů jako základ probírkové metody cílových stromů

Bros, Peter January 2018 (has links)
The aim of this diploma work was to find out and to determine appropriate identificators, which can make it possible to recognize trees with a strong increment. This diploma work sets identification marks for the European larch (Larix decidua) and Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris). Activites associated with determination of appropriate identificators of high quality trees with strong increment were investigated in the forest district Borky at the Training Forest Enterprise „Masarykův les“ Křtiny. We evaluated diameter at breast heigjt, total height , crown base height occurance of the forks, social status, release status and crown quality for every tree. We utilized the logit model, to find out significant identificators. We determined two main statistically significant identificators for the Scots pine – height and diameter at breast height. For the European Larch only the diameter at breast height was statistically significant. Other parameters showed statistical insignificance.

Zlatá Koruna jako tvaroslovný kaleidoskop. Aktualizovaný pohled na středověkou stavební historii cisterciáckého kláštera. / Zlatá Koruna monastery as a morphological kaleidoscope. An updated view on a medieval architectural history of a Cistercian monastery.

Facincani, Filip January 2021 (has links)
There is almost nothing left for the oldest architecture of the Cistercian monastery in Zlatá Koruna - except for the shape. Apart from the modestly written sources on the architectural history we are fully depend on the results of the formal analysis, on the evaluation of a form which has left. This Master's thesis is going to deal with the medieval parts of inner monastery and their architectural history as well as the rigours which such view includes. The thesis is going to focus on the Chapel of Guardian Angels and spaces of the convent with the monastery church of an Assumption of Virgin Mary in their own context and in the context of wider local production. The mentioned updating is deputized by an investigation of the monastery lapidarium and (primarily) a precise study of Building records (1938-1942). Although their reports were known to older research, there is no sufficient investigation in this case yet. As a result, there are numerous hidden fragments which rediscovery could help to show something more about the architectural history and morphological richness of Zlatá Koruna monastery. Key words: Zlatá Koruna, Goldenkron, Cistercian order, early gothic architecture, Building records, morphology

Směnné kurzy během globální krize: role fundamentálních ukazatelů / Exchange Rates in the Global Crisis: the Role of Fundamentals

Růžičková, Pavla January 2011 (has links)
This thesis studies the equilibrium real effective exchange rates and the degree of misalignment of currencies. It focuses on the real effective exchange rates of Icelandic króna and Chinese renminbi, with special attention paid to the evolution of these exchange rates in the period of crisis. It identifies key factors influencing the real effective exchange rates of króna and renminbi, calculates their equilibrium level and confirms that these currencies were misaligned in the pre-crisis period. It stresses the impact of real interest rate differential in the case of króna and of sterilization operations applied by the People's Bank of China in the case of renminbi. It further examines whether the relationship between real exchange rates and economic fundamentals was distorted in the crisis. Finally, the thesis provides an insight into whether the crisis led to narrowing the degree of misalignment of renminbi and króna.

Medializace měnové odluky a vzniku české koruny v roce 1993 / Medialization of the monetary separation and the Czech koruna formation in 1993

Šimečková, Barbora January 2014 (has links)
This diploma thesis describes an unexplored field of study - the medialization of the monetary separation and Czech koruna formation in February 1993. The thesis maps Czech media discourse devoted to this theme and answers the question whether the media, through its contents, could contribute to a positive perception and acceptance of this fundamental economic reform that actually completed the dissolution of Czechoslovakia process on January 1, 1993. For this purpose the thesis uses the qualitative research methods, the semiotic analysis and the discourse analysis. The introduction briefly outlines the sociopolitical situation in the country. The theoretical part describes the role of money and monetary policy, the technical preparation of the currency separation, including a new series of banknotes, and outlines Czech media trends after the 1989. The methodological part contains specific objectives, research questions and widely presents the selected research methods. The practical part analyzes media contents devoted to the currency separation in Czech newspapers Blesk (Flash), Hospodářské noviny (Economic Newspaper), MF Dnes (Today), Rudé právo (Red Law) and selected program of Česká televize (Czech Television) in the first quarter of the year 1993. The main outcome of the analysis is a...
