Practical part of the thesis describes and analyzes real cases from the coaches' praxis. Further it examines relation between used methods and techniques and the effectiveness of the coaching. Necessary data and information for the thesis were provided by the professional coaches during interviews.

Diploma thesis entitled "Construction of Professional Identity of a Coach. Narrative point of View." aimed to explore and describe the process of construction of professional identity in professional coaches. The first section of the theoretical part is devoted to the topic of identity. Identity is defined from a psychological and philosophical point of view, and psychological theories of identity development are introduced. Furthermore, professional identity is presented as a specific form of identity of an individual, which relates to their professional field, and recent research studies concerning professional identity are presented. At the end of this part, the topic of the crisis of professional identity and the concept of self - efficacy, which is related to the area of professional identity, are discussed. The second section of the theoretical part describes the contemporary image of coaching in the Czech Republic, its professional framework, and a brief history of the coaching method. Subsequently, the key competencies of a professional coach, differences from related disciplines, the context of coaching and psychology and ethics in coaching are described. The thesis deals with the topic of mindfulness. In the theoretical part of the thesis, the latest research on mindfulness in work (non-clinical) environments and ways to promote and develop mindfulness in people are reviewed. Standardized and non- standardized ways of increasing mindfulness are mentioned. The research section consists of several sub-researches. The first, qualitative research explores how people understand the concept of mindfulness and how they think it can be increased. The qualitative research was conducted in the form of a questionnaire (N = 54). The results of the analysis show that how people understand the concept of mindfulness is not too far from the professional definition of the term, but primarily people understand the term as mindfulness of the environment, less mindfulness of the self. The second, quantitative research project involves the adaptation of the Five Facet Mindfulness Questionnaire into Czech and its new standardization, which was carried out by comparing parallel translations and subsequent back-translation checked by the author of the questionnaire, Ruth Baer. The aim of this thesis is to analyse the coaching process in a manufacturing company and on the basis of these information to compare the period before the implementation of coaching and after that. Positive impacts will be observed, particularly in terms of efficiency of the production process, as well as wastage rate and finally will be evaluated levels of employee's satisfaction. For this purpose will be used evaluating interviews with employees, who participated in coaching, together with internal company materials. Benefit of this thesis is primarily evaluation the impact of the coaching process in the manufacturing company and based on the findings to propose recommendations for future development in the area of human resources. General conclusions of this thesis and subsequent recommendations could be useful for other manufacturing companies, which would like to develop employees through coaching.

Diploma thesis is devoted to an analysis of psychological coaching as a method promoting the use of human resources and human potential to the performance improvement and employee development. The theoretical part provides a definition of coaching. It deals with the principles and techniques of coaching, perception of reality, finding solutions and by setting and achieving goals. It discusses human potential as a layout of assumptions to human performance and its exploitation. It describes ways to improve the performance and life satisfaction through coaching. The work also presents an overview of psychological approaches in coaching. The second part consists of a quantitative research, in which they analyzed the results of sales representatives, who took coaching sessions, before and after coaching. Based on the results of the research part of the thesis, there is a statistically significant difference (p< .001) between the performance of sales consultants before coaching and in three other measurements after coaching. This thesis is dealing with internal coaching programmes in organizations. It bases on the theory of coaching method, coaching models and its forms and it describes the process of coaching dialogues. It also confronts coaching with psychotherapy and talks about the role of a coach and requirements for his expertise in the methodology. The thesis is describing internal coaching programmes in general and include specific examples from practice. They talk about reasons and advantages of internal coaching compared to the external. A part of this is a model of internal coaching programme for the environment of a law firm. The model is showing the possible connection of internal coaching with the existing in-company processes and the concept of key competencies of an organization. The thesis is not only following the existing internal coaching models, it is also evaluating them and outlining possible potential of internal coaching programmes in companies.

Title: The behaviour of youth football coach Objectives: The objective of this thesis is to present didactic activity of youth football coach, coaching methods that treat the players differently than the training material, define these forms of coach behaviour - feedback information, correction, instruction, question and present examples of effective and ineffective use. Methods: In this thesis I use the method of narrative overview and the modified analysis of didactic interaction. Results: Coaching unlike the style of command breaks down internal barriers and develops independence and responsibility, increases self-confidence and creates a higher level of skills. The coach must be aware of the function and effectiveness of the content and timing of individual forms his behaviour to the training process as efficient as possible.
