Babicová, Eva January 2014 (has links)
NAME OF THE AUTHOR: Bc. Eva Babicová SUPERVISIOR: Mgr. Lenka Kovářová, Ph.D., MBA Title: Possibilities of using the Myotest for the evaluation of the running technique Objectives: The aim of this work is to do pilot study of Myotest device and on the basis of the results obtained and analyzed materials is used to determine the possibility of the practical uses of the Myotest for evaluating the running technique. Methods: This thesis is its character a pilot study. We used literature search literature dedicated to technique of run and device Myotest. These information were used to determine the parameters of technique, which can used to evaluate running technique. Subsequently, field measurements were performed, which confirmed and verified data obtained from the research literature. Results: The results were processed using MS Excel. Using an analysis of the measured results have determined the possibility of practical use of the device. With Myotest PRO instrument, it is possible to analyze the parameters of the running technique, such as speed, stride length and frequency, the vertical movement of the center of gravity, takeoff angle and impact, and reactivity or regularity of stride. Device results are evaluated using average values of the test section. On the basis of the analyzed parameters...

Plavecká technika tělesně handicapovaných plavců s jednostrannou nadkolenní amputací / Swimming technique of physicaly disabled swimmers with unilateral above-knee amputation

Čuříková, Lada January 2012 (has links)
Headline: Swimming technique of physically disabled swimmers with unilateral above-knee amputation Aim of the Thesis: The aim of this thesis is to describe the intra-individual differences in the swimming technique of unilateral above-knee amputees by measuring the EMG of selected muscle groups. Methods: Surface EMG measurement in combination with using synchronized video recordings. Results: Research of the observed swimmers with unilateral above-knee amputation showed that: when swimming the front crawl, the swimmers unequally balance the intense kick of right and left leg mainly using the abdominal muscles and subsequently also in the electric potential of different sizes in other observed muscles; when swimming the backstroke, the upper body muscles on the side of amputated limb do not show any different activity than the muscles of the opposite side; when swimming the breaststroke, the main propulsion muscle for locomotion through the shoulder girdle - m. latissimus dorsi is activated for a longer period of time on the side of amputated limb; thereby, electrical activity of the selected muscles is not symmetrical in the timeline. Key words: swimming step, swimming, above-knee amputation, electromyography, muscle activity, handicap, EMG.

Porovnání aktivity svalů při cyklistickém kroku za použití nášlapných a klasických pedálů / Comparative of muscle activity during the cycling step with the use of clipless and normal pedals

Nováková, Martina January 2018 (has links)
Title: Comparative of muscle activity during the cycling step with the use of clipless and normal pedals. Objectives: Diploma thesis objective is to compare muscle activity during pedaling cycle with/without clipless pedal. Using EMG we want to establishe, if 6 chosen muscles are showing significant involvement difference for pedaling with/without clipless pedals. Methods: It is combination of empirical - theoretical thesis. Our work consists of intra- and interindividual comparative analytical study. We used two comparative methods for EMG signal evaluation - Pearson correlation coefficient and comparison with use of signed area of the region bounded by its graph. Results: The results of the correlation analysis show a high degree of compliance of the average normalized envelope diagrams for a cycling step with and without clipless. Based on the comparison of areas under the EMG curve, there is no higher muscle activation potential for the classic pedal. Keywords: cyclist, pedal, cycling step, muscle aktivity, electromyography

Měření a analýza posturální stability a pohybových vzorů osob po trans-femorální amputaci / Measurement and analysis of postural stability and movement patterns of persons after transfemoral amputation

Vyhnal, Ondřej January 2022 (has links)
Title: Measurement and analysis of postural stability and movement patterns of persons after transfemoral amputation. Objectives: The aim of this work is to understand the compensatory mechanisms arising after femoral amputation and to find out what effect the lenght of amputation has on movement patterns in humans after transfemoral amputation and exarticulation in the knee joint. Methods: In my work I used the method of analysis and method of comparison. For the analysis of postural stability, I used standard tools: force plates (Kistler 9286A) and motion recording system (Kistler 9286A). To compare kinematic one-dimensional data, I used the technique of statistical parametric mapping, which is a generalization of classical statistical tests from scalar to one-dimensional data. 8 probands with transfemoral amputation participated in the study. Three successful attempts were recorded, at three speeds with the contact of a residual and amputated limb. The movement of the pelvis in the horizontal, sagittal, transverse planes and the time spent on a residual limb were analyzed. Results: We found that the length of amputation significantly effects postural stability and movement patterns. It was found that the shorter the amputation stump, the less stable the gait, with greater deviations in the...

Drozdková, Martina January 2012 (has links)
The aim of this thesis is to map the effect of hippo rehabilitation on a change in school evaluation, interpersonal communication, behaviour and skills of the pupils with a health handicap. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part summarizes necessary information about hippo rehabilitation as a whole and its usability in treatment of disorders and diseases. In the first chapter, a brief history of hippo rehabilitation and its emergence as a treatment method is presented; followed by definitions of terms, division and characterization of the individual disciplines. The following part is devoted to the healing effect of hippo rehabilitation on both physical and psychological components of a human being, through the impact of specific and non-specific factors of the therapy. The third part describes the way the hippo rehabilitation is carried out in practice, as well as the conditions necessary for its performance. The healing effects and mechanisms of the individual disciplines are also dealt with. The last chapter of the theoretical part deals with hippo rehabilitation in terms of its effect on human functions and characteristics that influence school success. This part also includes a description of symptoms and signs of the individual disabilities and a possible impact of hippo...
