Vstupní část kvadraturního přijímače pro pásmo UHF / UHF band front-end of quadrature receiver

Tiller, Jakub January 2012 (has links)
The object of this master's thessis is study and description of RF circuits, which are used for receiveing. This work is also aimed to design this circuits and their simulation in Ansoft Designer software. Focus is placed to the standard parameters of receiving technology. The description of amplifier design is presented in this work. Parameters of this amplifier are optimalized to low noise figure. Frequency multiplier designs are included in this project.

Metody výpočtu maximálně věrohodných odhadů v zobecněném lineárním smíšeném modelu / Computational Methods for Maximum Likelihood Estimation in Generalized Linear Mixed Models

Otava, Martin January 2011 (has links)
of the diploma thesis Title: Computational Methods for Maximum Likelihood Estimation in Generalized Linear Mixed Models Author: Bc. Martin Otava Department: Department of Probability and Mathematical Statistics Supervisor: RNDr. Arnošt Komárek, Ph.D., Department of Probability and Mathematical Statistics Abstract: Using maximum likelihood method for generalized linear mixed models, the analytically unsolvable problem of maximization can occur. As solution, iterative and ap- proximate methods are used. The latter ones are core of the thesis. Detailed and general introducing of the widely used methods is emphasized with algorithms useful in practical cases. Also the case of non-gaussian random effects is discussed. The approximate methods are demonstrated using the real data sets. Conclusions about bias and consistency are supported by the simulation study. Keywords: generalized linear mixed model, penalized quasi-likelihood, adaptive Gauss- Hermite quadrature 1

Discontinuous Galerkin method for the solution of boundary-value problems in non-smooth domains / Discontinuous Galerkin method for the solution of boundary-value problems in non-smooth domains

Bartoš, Ondřej January 2017 (has links)
This thesis is concerned with the analysis of the finite element method and the discontinuous Galerkin method for the numerical solution of an elliptic boundary value problem with a nonlinear Newton boundary condition in a two-dimensional polygonal domain. The weak solution loses regularity in a neighbourhood of boundary singularities, which may be at corners or at roots of the weak solution on edges. The main attention is paid to the study of error estimates. It turns out that the order of convergence is not dampened by the nonlinearity, if the weak solution is nonzero on a large part of the boundary. If the weak solution is zero on the whole boundary, the nonlinearity only slows down the convergence of the function values but not the convergence of the gradient. The same analysis is carried out for approximate solutions obtained with numerical integration. The theoretical results are verified by numerical experiments. 1

Algebraické křivky v historii a ve škole / Algebraic curves in history and school

Fabián, Tomáš January 2016 (has links)
TITLE: Agebraic Curves in History and School AUTHOR: Bc. Tomáš Fabián DEPARTMENT: The Department of mathematics and teaching of mathematics SUPERVISOR: prof. RNDr. Ladislav Kvasz, Dr. ABSTRACT: The thesis includes a series of exercises for senior high school students and the first year of university students. In these exercises, students will increase their knowledge about conics, especially how to draw them. Furthermore, students can learn about two unfamiliar curves: Conchoid and Quadratrix. All these curves are afterwards used for solving other problems - some Apollonius's problems, Three impossible constructions etc. Most of the construction is done in GeoGebra software. All the tasks are designed for students to learn how to work with this software. The subject discussed is put into historical context, and therefore the exercises are provided with historical commentary. The thesis also includes didactic notes, important or interesting solutions of exercises, possible issues, mistakes and another relevant notes. KEYWORDS: conic, circle, ellipse, parabola, hyperbole, conchoid, quadratrix, trisecting an angle, squaring the circle, rectification of the circle, doubling a cube, Apollonius's problem, GeoGebra

/
U ovoj tezi proučene su oscilacije i stabilnost zapreminski opterećene pravougaone
nano-ploče uz korišćenje Eringenove teorije elastičnosti. The body force is constant and
parallel with the plate. The boundary conditions correspond to the dynamical model of a
nanoplate clamped at all its sides. Classical plate theory and von Kármán plate theory,
upgraded with nonlocal elasticity theory, is used to formulate the differential equation of
stability and vibration of the nanoplate. Natural frequencies of transverse vibrations,
depending on the effects of body load and nonlocality, are obtained using Galerkin’s method.
Critical values of the body load parameter, i.e., the values of the body load parameter when
the plate loses its stability, are determined for different values of nonlocality parameter. The
mode shapes of nanoplate under influences of body load and nonlocality are presented as
well. Differential quadrature method is used for verification of obtained results.
