Hodnocení doby života a změn konfokální mikroskopií / Realisation of method for fluorescence lifetime and spectral changes evaluation using advanced confocal microscopy techniquesRúbal, Radek January 2015 (has links)
Content is focused on fluorescence lifetime imaging techniques. Fluorescence lifetime is computed from data acquired with using of Leica TCS SP8X confocal microscope sequential scanning. Algorithms and software for the computation, imaging and analysis of fluorescence lifetime is presented. Software is allowing both 2D and 3D imaging of fluorescence lifetime. Techniques are used for fluorescence lifetime imaging of mesenchymal cells and fibroblasts tainted with SPIO-Rhodamin complex.

This thesis deals with the novel AP20 pole technology from Leica Geosystems AG. It is about the evaluation of this product and the question of how the working method and productivity in surveying practice are changing. The first step is a literature search and a compilation of the current state of the art. Then the data and facts of the AP20 are mentioned and the methodology for the review is explained. This technology is evaluated on the basis of a fictitious customer order, which reflects classic surveying tasks. Whether the fulfillment of this order is successful and how the time required for these surveying tasks changes with the help of the AP20 will be answered in the course of this work.

An assessment of the GPS L5 signal based on multiple vendor receiversSmyers, Serena Ashley 21 February 2012 (has links)
The L5 signal of the Global Positioning System (GPS) is becoming available on an increasing number of Block IIF satellites. As the third civilian signal, L5 is superior in signal design to the L1 C/A and L2C civilian signals. This new signal has been marked healthy for use on selected satellites since 2010, yet the hardware capable of tracking the L5 signal is still in the early stages of development. This work investigates the characteristics of the new signal and the quality of data produced by L5-tracking receivers. Commonly used receiver models chosen for this study are the Leica GRX1200+GNSS, the Trimble NetR8, and the Javad Delta TRE-G3TH. The metrics used in this analysis to assess the quality of data produced by these receivers are signal strength, receiver phase noise, receiver code noise, and multipath. The data used in these analyses were obtained from the International GNSS Service for the days of the year 275 to 281 in 2011. Metrics averaged over the GPS week 1656 provide a good indication of the overall performance of the receivers. / text
