This diploma thesis deals with the material manipulation in Alltub production halls and optimization of packing places of production lines and packaging material. In the literary part, the problems of logistics and material handling, supply methods, lean enterprise, ergonomics and work safety are described. The practical part contains a summary of the current state of the production lines and the subsequent possibility of adjusting the arrangement of the individual devices at the end of the lines and saving the surfaces for manipulation with all the material. Furthermore, the economic evaluation of the adjustments and their benefits for the company is elaborated.

This diploma work analyses technology documentation, material manipulation, machines and manipulation devices in its first part. Aim of this analyse is detection present entire lacks of manipulation state. Diploma work suggests options of solution to determinate entire lacks of manipulation in its second part and elaboration of chosen option.

The process analysis provides a good way for identification (stock-taking) of the weak points in the firms in these days, when the waste is restricted, continual improvement is required and the crisis is one of the most frequent word in use. If such point was already found it is necessary to apply efficient remedial measure to provide against financial or information leakage. This master’s thesis is about Materials handling risk analysis.

Every year thousands of people die on the roads because of car crashes. Every year is this situation getting worse and brings problems to the families of victims and to the country as well. To solve this problem completely is really impossible but our country has to try decrease number of accidents and protect drivers. My research explains how many accidents are caused by senseless reasons and describes problems with work injuries in the transportation industry. Voluntary organizations, police and public organizations try to change this sad situation, but police statistics are clear and still show high number of victims, injured people and accidents. My measurements describe real situation in our country. Big problems are caused by infringement of law and irresponsibility. Future development depends on new ways of protecting people and new transport policy.

This thesis focuses on the analysis material flow of the production systemat Thermona Ltd. and suggestions for improvements. The work consists of theoretical, analytical and design parts. Thetheoretical part contains the basic concepts of production. In the analytical part, there is described a current situation in production area softhe company on the basis of theoretical knowledge. In the final part, the solutions are designed to help improve the business.

This thesis deals with manipulation with material in plant production technologies, especially transport of material.Theoretical part of this thesis deals with the manipulation in agriculture and transport means used in agricultural transport. It is solved here legislation, economy and organization of agricultural transport. In last section of this part is an overview of transport connections in plant production systems.Practical part containes analysis of transport lines in the plant production of a particular company. Based on the analysis and study of literature, I suggest the possibilities of a new solution. The practical part also includes data on the amount of material handled in plant production, calculation of average transport distances and basic business information.

The target of thesis is to analyze handling equipment and device for realization of loading operations in agriculture and provide proposals and principles for optimal usage of applied handling equipment and device. The characteristics and clasifications of materials in agriculture, loading operations and transportation, listing of applied handling equipment and device for realization of such processes are stated in literary survey of this work. Next part of the work focuses on selection of modern handling equipment, device and producers ( domestic and international) available at current market and defines factors influencing the prefered choice to use particular handling equipment and device for loading processes on farms and in other agricultural environment. A part of the analysis is data and information acquisition of particular farm and review of loading processes in agriculture connected to applicable handling equipment and device, furthermore, currently used handling equipment and device with proposal to optimalization.

The main goal of a study is to rationalize organization of production and material handling in company AVL Moravia s.r.o. via material flow intensity analysis. Analysis results in suggesting new organization of production and economical rating of the suggestion.
