Simulace mazání bodových kontaktů metodou konečných prvků / Simulation of point contact lubrication by finite element method

Hrdonka, Štěpán January 2018 (has links)
This diploma thesis is concerned with simulation of elastohydrodynamic lubrication of point contacts using the finite element method. The first part of the thesis focuses on the study of the issue and introduces equations for model creation and numerical methods which can be used for EHD calculation. The most suitable solution approach has been chosen from the overview, namely the Full system approach. The software we chose for applying the method was COMSOL Multyphysics. The following part of the thesis deals with model’s creation and gives its elaborate description. We introduce models for calculation of line and point EHD lubrication for newtonian lubricants and, last but not least, we also present a model for calculation of point contact EHD lubrication for non-newtonian lubricants. The next part of the thesis then verifies all the models. That is achieved by comparing the calculated results to results from different papers. The conclusive part of the thesis then examines the matches of acquired results to different prediction relationships and experiments.

Studium tenkých mazacích filmů spektroskopickou reflektometrií / THIN LUBRICANT FILMS STUDY USING SPECTROSCOPIC REFLECTOMETRY

Čudek, Vladimír January 2010 (has links)
ectroscopic reflectometry is measurement technique that enables the study of the thickness and refractive index of thin layers. This thesis deals with its use for the study of lubrication films within EHD contact and verifies a new approach suggested in recent publications. It is focused on the development of an optical arrangement and mathematical model for the lubrication film thickness measurement within the entire EHD contact. This technique brings the possibility to study the pressure distribution within the contact area through the evaluation of changes in lubricant refractive index.

Optimalizace mazacího systému pro mazání ložisek válcovacích stolic / Optimization of lubrication system for lubrication of rolling mill bearings

Sikora, Vojtěch January 2021 (has links)
The thesis focuses on the optimization of the central lubrication system for the lubrication of rolling bearings of rolling mills in the operation continuous wire rod mill. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The first part of the theoretical work is focuses on the search of rolling and tribodiagnostics. The next part focuses on the description of modern central lubrication systems, explanation of their principle and practical use. The practical part explains the function of the old lubrication system for rolling mill bearings with an analysis of its problems. Next is described the technical design of a new central lubrication system, its application into operation and its actual commissioning are described. The last part of the thesis is the conclusion and evaluation of the benefits of the new central lubrication system compared to the old one.

Návrh systému pro testování valivých ložisek s proměnnými parametry mazání / Development of a testing system for evaluation of rolling bearings with variable lubrication parameters

Škoviera, Jozef January 2017 (has links)
The presented diploma thesis deals with the design of a test system for rolling bearings, which allows the change of the lubrication parameters (e.g. changing of the relubrica-tion interval). In the document, the reader first learns about the meaning of lubrication of rolling bearings, the possibilities of lubricant supply to the bearing (specifically for the supply of grease) and the possibilities of dosing control. Subsequently in the document is described the present state of experimental stations for testing rolling bearings, which is available at the Institute of Machine and Industrial Design. The end of the part about current state of knowledge is also mentioned the possibility of speeding up fatigue tests. In the next part, the author describes his own solution. The result is the design of an experimental station (for option to relubricate with grease), the creation of a lubrication control platform and the creation of a basic program. Part of the work is also verification experiments and drawing documentation.

Konstrukce stacionární jednotky pro mazání hlavy kolejnice / Design of wayside unit for top-of-rail lubrication

Valena, Martin January 2019 (has links)
This master’s thesis describes design and realization of a wayside unit for top-of-rail lubrication (TOR). TOR lubricant application causes wear reduction and lower noise emission. Firstly, patent analysis was provided and critically evaluated according to which requirements for developed device were specified – accurate dosage of small lubricant volume and high repeatability. On the basis of concept design, an experimental rig was created and used for lubricant application verification and spray lubrication parameter identification. Acquired results are considered in the final design of wayside unit with a technical facility. Two utility models were created within this master’s thesis.

Chování EHD mazacího filmu při náhlých změnách rychlosti a zatížení / EHD Lubrication Film Behaviour under Rapid Change of Velocity and Load

Zimmerman, Martin January 2011 (has links)
This dissertation is focused on experimental study of lubricant film behavior under transient conditions. For real machine parts such as gears, roller bearings and cam mechanism the operating conditions such as speed, load and radius of curvature of rubbing surfaces are vary during the working cycle. Change in operating conditions may pose an increased risk of the lubricating film breakdown. Direct contact of rubbing surfaces at the time of the lubricating film breakdown causes an increase in friction and wear. The high-speed CMOS camera was used to record the dynamic changes in lubricating film thickness during the experiment. The optical interferometry method has been used for reverse reconstruction of lubricating film thickness of the recorded interferograms. It was confirmed that the operating parameters have a major impact on the formation of lubricant film and its thickness and a certain combination of boundary conditions can cause lubricating film rupture. The obtained results showed, that modified topography of the rubbing surfaces can help to increase the lubrication film thickness especially in critical phases of working cycle.

Konstrukce zařízení pro výzkum mazání ozubených převodů / Design of the device for research on lubrication of gears

Žáček, Jan January 2018 (has links)
The master´s thesis is focused on the design and implementation of the laboratory stand for studying lubrication of gears. Specifically, to assess the effect of lubricant contamination on gears. The device uses the Niemann closed circuit concept which in practice is called „back to back“. Firstly, in the theoretical part, the test circuits uses for testing gears are described and one of the standardized procedure for experimentation is presented. Based on research studies, basic parameters for the design and creation of conceptuals are determined. The practical part consists not only the design of this stend, but also including test run and the description of the procedure on that device. The result of this master´s thesis is the functional experimental device for the future development of intelligent lubrication systems.
