Hodnocení možnosti vzniku vnější sufoze/ztekucení a řešení metodou dílčích součinitelů. / EVALUATION OF THE POSSIBILITY OF THE ORIGIN OF THE EXTERNAL SUFFOSION / HEAVE AND SOLUTION USING THE LIMIT STATE METOD

Hala, Mario Unknown Date (has links)
In the case of soil structures and/or subsoil of the water structures, filtration deformation can occur due to the effects of water seepage. One of the possible phenomena that can occur in water structures due to filtration deformation is external suffusion / heave, which ocure on the air side of the structure in the case of ascending external seepage, where soil particles are gradually subject to ascending seepage forces. The possibility of heave can be assessed using the method of partial factors, for which individual partial factors are needed, which are not specified in more detail in the literature. The aim of this work is to determine the partial reliability factor for failure due to heave based on the evaluation of laboratory experiments on uniform grain materials with non-uniformity number CU

Spolehlivost zemních hrází ohrožených filtračními deformacemi / Reliability analysis of embankment dams endangered by filtration deformations

Čejda, Marek January 2016 (has links)
Subject of the dissertation is a probability analysis on creation of embankment subsoil filtration deformations. Out of the broad topic of filtration deformations, the dissertation is focused at initiation of the process. At this phase, the overlying layers downstream of levee get uplifted, and eventually get breached. The process of downstream subsoil failure probability estimation is formulated using mathematical and statistical modelling. Within the scope of parametrical study the suggested method is applied onto a test environment. Results of the probability estimation are compared with results obtained using Limit state design method. The results of stochastic modelling can be used for improvement of Limit state design method precision.

STANOVENÍ MEZNÍCH HODNOT POSUNŮ SLEDOVANÝCH PŘI TECHNICKOBEZPEČNOSTNÍM DOHLEDU SYPANÝCH HRÁZÍ / EVALUATION OF LIMIT VALUES OF DISPLACEMENT MEASURED BY TECHNICAL SURVEILLANCE OF EMBANKMENT DAMS

Vrubel, Jan Unknown Date (has links)
Owners of dams in the Czech Republic are obliged to ensure the safety management. Part of it is measurement that covers comparing of measured values with limit values (threshold limits). Czech legislation provides principles of safety management e.g. regular observation and monitoring, their periodicity or measured variables. Expectation of reducing the probability of failure, automatic data acquisition system and dam ageing are reasons for adjusting limit values systematically. The aim of this thesis is to specify the method of determination the limit values of displacement for making a vertical survey of embankment dams. The method is demonstrated on the case study of Moravka dam. Sensitivity analysis of hydro-mechanical coupled model of embankment dam is included.
