Kompetence dvojjazyčného asistenta / Competence of bilingual assistant

Hassman, Jaroslav January 2016 (has links)
The aim is to map out the scope of the jurisdiction of a bilingual teacher's assistant competencies and compare with the statutory definition. The work is divided into three thematic sections, two are part of the theoretical and one empirical part. The first theoretical part is divided into a section dedicated to migration in the Czech lands and a section dedicated to the education of foreigners from different perspectives. The second theoretical part deals with the position of assistant teacher, competencies and in a separate section also bilingual teacher assistants. The third part is dedicated to research, under which the method of shadowing as well as through personal interviews obtained relevant data, all of which were after processing and analyzing the conclusions drawn, which were subsequently compares with the original assumption. The last part of this work is the conclusion conceived primarily as a summary of the results and knowledge gained in the research and mutual comparison in line with the aim of this work.

Ptačí malárie vlaštovky obecné / Avian malaria in the Swallow

Krausová, Simona January 2015 (has links)
Long-distance migratory birds can encounter a wide range of parasites. Various populations of birds within one species use different migration routes and can also winter in different places. It can be supposed that birds which use different migration routes should be infected with different parasites. To study the relationship between the migration and the distribution of parasites we chose the worldwide species barn swallow (Hirundo rustica) and the avian malaria parasites. Swallows migrate long distances in different migrating routes. Some populations of swallows do not migrate, they are resident. This is the reason why swallow is a good model species for finding the answers to questions whether the populations using different migration routes are infected with different parasites or not and whether or not the diversity of parasites is wider in populations which migrate long distances in comparison with the resident populations. The malaria lineages of the genus Plasmodium and Haemoproteus were detected using nested PCR and sequencing. 1242 samples from 8 different localities from the USA, Europe and Asia were tested. We detected 24 different malaria lineages. Within the genus Plasmodium 4 of 16 lines were detected for the first time and in the genus Haemoproteus 3 of 6 lines were detected for the first...

Populace afrického sahelu pohledem fylogeografie euroasijských mtDNA haploskupin / Population of African Sahel according to phylogeography of Eurasian haplogroups

Kulichová, Iva January 2016 (has links)
The thesis is focused on two mtDNA haplogroups of Eurasian origin that occur mostly among the Fulani, herders of the African Sahel. On the initial analysis 544 DNA samples from unrelated Fulani individuals were used. These samples were classified to haplogroups according to hypervariable segment I (HVS-I) of mtDNA and subsequently, specific Eurasian haplotypes were chosen for the whole mtDNA genome sequencing. Obtained mito-genomes were assigned to phylogenetic trees and dated. It turned out that they belonged to haplogroups U5b1b1b and H1ca1a with the probable origin in the Iberian Peninsula, presumably in Franco-Cantabrian refugium where their ancestors originated in the period between the Late Glacial and the first half of the Holocene. Afterwards they migrated through the Strait of Gibraltar to North Africa and the Sahara, where the proto-Fulani pastoral population was being formed. It may also be assumed that a part of this population came to Africa from the Near East, along with cattle. In the second half of the Holocene, this pastoral population migrated from the drying Sahara to the Sahel. Probably due to small number of female migrants the females from the local populations were integrated, which explains the major representation of West African mtDNA haplogroups in contemporary Fulani....

Postglaciální historie lokálních fenoménů horské vegetace západních Čech / Postglacial vegetation history of local phenomena in western Bohemia

Švarcová, Markéta Gabriela January 2012 (has links)
In the sense of postglacial vegetation development, western Bohemia represents one of the least studied regions in the Czech Republic. This area, however, represents a supposed migration route of trees towards northern Europe during the Holocene. The most appropriate area for testing of such proposal might be western Sudetes with Slavkovský les protected landscape area in the Karlovy Vary region. Postglacial vegetation history was studied on the basis of two sedimentary profiles - from the fen bog near Číhanské prameny springs and from the vicinity of Mnichovské hadce serpentines from the nature reserve Mokřady pod Vlčkem. Percentual as well as influx diagrams were constructed on the basis of results of standard pollen analysis. Comparison of these results with the data from other suitable profiles enabled reconstruction of migration history of main tree taxa. The Číhaná profile reflects the period from the Older Dryas up to the Atlantic. The oldest Holocene forest was formed by the dominant Pinus, while Corylus was joining already in the Preboreal. Quercetum mixtum folowed in the begining of the Boreal and spruce quickly gained dominance in the Atlantic. The sedimentation process was probably finished due to rapid accumulation of sediments followed by spontaneous drainage ending with spruce and alder...

Podnikání migrantů v Česku / Immigrant entreprenership in the Czech Republic

Čermáková, Dita January 2011 (has links)
Presented dissertation is compilation of seven articles complemented by introductory summary. First part of the dissertation contains the theoretical and methodological summary of the research topic, which include our theoretical discussion resulting from our concrete research. In the second part is presented selection of our articles, which were published or accepted to the press. The topic of the dissertation are migrants, who set up their business and their business activities. Specific attention is paid to migrants economic activities in space, concretely the types of economic concentration. The summary part of the dissertation introduces three theoretical and methodological approaches to the research to this topic, which have been in the research interest since the 70s till now. They were cultural, structural and individual approaches. The aim of this summary is linking these approaches with our research and answering the question, whether it is possible to use these approaches and theories and models resulted from these three approaches in the environment of the Czech Republic. If yes than the question is with what problems and results. In our research published in articles we have used all three theoretical and methodological approaches. In the cultural approach we were inspired by concepts...

Pomoc dětem přistěhovalců v jejich náročné životní situaci / The help to immigrants` children in their hard life situation

Kyselová, Veronika January 2011 (has links)
The diploma thesis is focused on helping children of immigrants with their integration into educational systems and even to their life in new country. The aim of my research is to link the theoretical and practical aspects of the issue of helping immigrant children in their difficult situation. The theoretical part covers the theoretical interpretation of difficult life situations in relation to the children of immigrants as a target group and their role in the future new home. It analyzes the problems of population migration, the emergence of ethnic minorities and the impact of those issues on the lives of children of immigrants. The thesis emphasizes the need of learning the language of the new home country as quickly as possible and also introduces programs of the Czech Republic and other European countries in the field of education of immigrant children. The empirical part consists of testimonies of immigrants' children gathered through field research and through interviews using a questionnaire. The practical outcome of this diploma thesis is to use the results in the creation of a project aimed at helping immigrant children.

Problematika migrace z environmentálních důvodů / Environmentaly induced migration

Dvorská, Eliška January 2013 (has links)
Many people worldwide are forced to leave their homes because of serious degradation of environmental conditions, natural disasters and depletion of natural resources. Growing impacts of climate change and global warming on the environment and human mobility are becoming increasingly worrying, creating a need for protection of those environmentally displaced persons. Although there has been a great attention paid to this phenomenon, the category of so-called "environmental refugees" still continues unrecognized by the international community. The paper examines the circumstances under which environmental migration occurs, its causes and consequences. It deals with state obligations rising from the international environmental law, especially those related to climate change. It deals with the terminology related to the environmentally displaced persons, such as environmental migrants, environmental refugees or environmentally displaced persons. It presents their classification and defines the key terms. The paper also mentions cases of environmental migration in the world and their possible solution, highlighting the need for prevention and adaptation. Most of the paper is dedicated to the analysis of the legal status and rights of environmentally displaced persons. The paper analyses the...

Rodiny planetek a jejich vztah k migraci planet / Asteroid families and their relation to planetary migration

Rozehnal, Jakub January 2013 (has links)
In this thesis, we study how the planetary migration affects asteroid families. We identify the families among the Trojans of Jupiter by analysing their properties in the space of resonant elements, the size-frequency distribution and the colour indices. The previously reported number of families (10) seems to be overestimated, our analysis indicates that there is only one collisional family among Trojans with the parent-body size DPB > 100 km. We also performed a simulation of the long-term orbital evolution of the Trojan families. We used a modified version of the SWIFT symplectic integrator where the migration is set analytically. We found that the families are unstable even in the late stages of the migration, when Jupiter and Saturn recede from their mutual 1:2 resonance. Hence, the families observed today must have been created after the planetary migration ended. In the last part of the work, we study a formation of asteroid families in the Main Belt during the Late Heavy Bombardement. We simulate perturbations induced by migrating planets in the "jumping Jupiter" scenario (Morbidelli et al., 2010) and we conclude that big families (DPB > 200 km) created during the bombardement should be observable today.

Možnosti vzdělávání dospělých cizinců v ČR / Possibilities of education of foreigners in the Czech Republik

Němcová, Kateřina January 2013 (has links)
There are more and more foreigners living every year in the Czech Republic. Their lives, working opportunities and overall social integration are significantly affected by their education and the access to it. This diploma thesis brings essentially an overview of possibilities of education in four areas: the learning of the Czech language and the access to university, high school or higher vocational school education; the acquisition of social, cultural and legal awareness, as well as other paths for gaining qualification or retraining. However, foreigners are commonly faced with deterrents when coming from a foreign educational system to the Czech one: nostrification of their documents, bureaucracy, language barriers and financial difficulties. The research part of the thesis has shown that there are some differences between two large minorities - the Americans and the Ukrainians - as to their access to education and motivation to learn. Furthermore, it has ascertained that their integration also hinges upon whether they are coming to the Czech Republic with a secure goal (job, studies, Czech partner or family) and what their financial background is.
