Srovnání metod monitoringu druhového spektra hmyzu na kvetoucím pásu a sousedících plochách pšenice a řepky / Comparison of various methods monitoring insect diversity in sown flower strips and neighboring fields of winter wheat and winter oilseed rape

Kolařík, David January 2016 (has links)
In this study we deal with comparison of insect monitoring methods on flowering strip, wheat and oilseed rape. The experiment is located at two study sites: Crop Research Institute at Ruzyně and Experiment unit of Czech University of Life Sciences in Uhříněves. The experiment was carried out in 2015. To make monitoring we utilized sweeping net, Möricke yellow traps, transect counting and as a supplementary method we utilized light trap. Monitoring was done in 25 of June, 16 of July and 12 of August 2015. These dates were chosen because of flowering of the strip which was the most important issue in this study. As a result of this the insect diversity in other almost harvested variants was quite low. The most important insect species quantities were collected from Möricke traps in all three variants. But this fact could be naturally based on the attractivity of the yellow color, so we can´t reliably say, if in out of bloom rape or wheat could be present this high amount of insect or if it is only being attracted by color of the trap from the neighborhood. The second method with the highest insect occurrence was sweeping net. Again the highest species diversity was described from the flowering strip. The lowest amount of insects was noted in transect counting. This method has (contrastingly to the others) disadvantage in the high possibility of fail to detect small insect, which are normally noticed by the other methods. Light trap monitored about the highest species number, where the majority of species belong to order Lepidoptera. That sway this method was employed only to enrich the species diversity.

Turismus a mechanismy jeho monitorování v Česku / Tourism and mechanism of its monitoring in Czechia

Ducháčková, Jana January 2012 (has links)
The objective of this master's thesis is to examine a detailed summary of the present situation of visitor monitoring methods in large-scale protected areas in Czechia. Methods used in Czechia are introduced on 9 areas. The main research tools used were interviews with 8 key actors and a survey with the head managers of 4 national parks and 25 protected areas. The questionnaire survey was conducted in November and December 2011 and had 100 % return. This thesis presents comprehensive characteristics of the situation in Czechia including levels of monitoring methods. It seems that this study is the first of its kind which has been done in Czechia. Findings show that there is systematic quantitative visitor monitoring in Czech national parks, but that there is not in protected landscape areas. The majority of national park and protected area management do not have a standard certificated methodology for managing counting visitors. This means that their results cannot be compared. To promote better understanding of methods the text includes 22 examples of visitor counting done in chosen European countries and 9 examples from other non-European countries with the goal of summarizing which methods and technologies are available and suitable for use in Czechia. Finally, the evaluations of eight...

Možnosti monitoringu a hodnocení procesu komerční suburbanizace na příkladu suburbánní zóny Prahy / Possibilities of Monitoring and Evaluation of the Commercial Suburbanization Process on the Example of Prague Suburban Zone

Koloušek, Petr January 2013 (has links)
Possibilities of monitoring and evaluation of the commercial suburbanization process on the example of Prague suburban zone Abstract With a transition to the market economy, we can observe an entirely new phenomenon in the hinterland of Czech cities, which has significantly contributed to the transformation of the selected settlements. It is the commercial suburbanization process, which is characterized by a decentralization of the economic activities from the metropolitan cores. Selectivity of the commercial suburbanization process has resulted in its differential manifestation and consequences, which are not often beneficial for a suburban area. Despite the great influence of the process on landscape and population, there is a limited amount of literature dedicated to it, which is partly due to lack of appropriate data sources for its monitoring. The work aims to evaluate possibilities of the study of the process and to create a consistent and repeatable study method using available data sources. With this method a pilot study will be performed on the case of selected locality. Through this study, the suitability of the established method will be verified, but the results will be self-supporting and tell us about evolution, scope, form and the consequences of the process in the selected localities....

Vliv klíčových faktorů dynamiky vývoje sněhové pokrývky v podmínkách Šumavy / Effect of key factors on dynamics of a snow cover evolution in Šumava Mts. conditions

Fliegl, Ondřej January 2013 (has links)
Master thesis is concerned with the subject of a snow cover dynamics (focused on snow melting) and of the detailed analysis of each physical-geographic factors effect on its character. Knowledges published in the domestic and foreign scientific literature are confronted with the data acquired within a number of expeditionary snow monitoring campaignes carried out during winter periods 2011/2012 a 2012/2013 in headwaters of rivers of Šumava (Šumava Mts., southwestern Czechia). Mobile field survey was done in a number of time horizons within the broadly conceived research in the upper Otava River basin concentrated on the assessment of the retention potential in headstream areas.

Optimalizace geotechnického průzkumu a monitoringu při navrhování a provádění podzemních staveb / Optimization of geotechnical survey and monitoring for design and realization of underground constructions

Černý, Vít Unknown Date (has links)
The presented thesis focuses primarily on issues of geotechnical survey and geotechnical monitoring for underground line constructions. It deals with the current practice of geotechnical survey and monitoring. Based on the knowledge gained from specific buildings in the Czech Republic (Královopolské tunnels, tram tunnel Žabovřeská) and based on the author's practical local and foreign experience submits suggestions regarding their mutual optimization in order to improve outputs and reduce financial costs.
